What the other post said is rubbish, I've got an on-going project with Adron and I'm using my own contractor.

The only extra fee I paid was 200k Security/Supervisory and of cos the Legal Documentation(Deed) which is 50k
Survey Plan 150k and Developmental fee of 500k which you know about.

The only reason you won't be allowed to use your contractor is if He is not registered.

Mr EgunMogaji has already helped by pasting the fees above.

I subscibed to phase 1 ext which is now known as golf estate.

If i remember correctly you are not required to pay dev fees if adron is building for you.

Should you choose to build yourself; you are required to pay for survey,deeds and dev fees. Without these two, you will not be physically allocated.

The dev fees can also be paid in stages.

The building costs were a bit comparable to what i got from other builders.

Even though it was a bit higher; i choose to have only one point of contact for my building needs hence i asked adron to build.

I will advice you to pay them a visit someday.

From the little background checks that i did on their magt. They seem clean and straightfoward, the only problem I personally have with them is their admin/legal/documentation department. They are just not there

Adron is currently building for me and so far so good its been ok.

GMD of Adron - if you are reading this please could assist to jack up the documentation or admin dept?

He would advice you of the so called hidden costs before paying a cent.

There are some charges that will spring up after payment, if you don't pay about 60% ,you can't start building on the plot, then it will take time before you get physical allocation of your plot.
Finally, they won't allow another Company or Engineer to Build for you except them and their charges are too outrageous, imagine the carcass of a 5bedroom duplex is 21.8Million naira, how much will complete it then?
They are a total ripoff.
I advice you get your land somewhere else where you will be allowed to build what you want on a budget.

I didn't know about all this before I purchased oo, that God forsaken agent didn't tell me.

I was just thinking of starting a small duplex there I'm March.

Am selling it straight away. What rubbish .

Am in shock to learn that those of us who bought Lands from Adron homes will have no CHOICE but to also use their own engineer.

This bothers me a lot, as I have started making arrangements to start building our holiday home this march. If this information is true , I will have no choice but to offer the land for sale as I was never aware of these restrictions wen I purchased the land.

Pls if I need more info on this.

well said, my fiance told me she was frying plantain and thr was smoke in the kitchen before she knew it fire department guys r already in her apartment thinking it's gonna be a fire incident, the alarm is installed thr to notify them incase of fire incident.. I just came back from my friends place, I met their family doctor there because the daughter has lots of rashes and she suspected measles, so to stop other children getting in the clinic , the doctor got off his seat and drove to my friends house. This girl doesn't work because she has 4 kids and of them are very young, the husband is a factory worker. All lives matter, both rich and poor, that's the beauty of this my country.

If my child starts convulsing now help will be here in 2mins if it's rush hours a paramedic on motorbike will first come and stabilise him before an ambulance crew will come take him to hospital. Wat would u do?

If I have an accident and there is no road access or the nearest Accident and emergency and far away, helicopter will be called to airlift me out of the scene. Wat would happen to u?

If my house gets burnt down today, the council will give me emergency accommodation and will start looking for a place that will be appropriate for my family. What about u??

I don't understand shares trading atall, I have tried my hardest but just can't get me head around it.

However, real estate is my thing. But not sure I will but money on any property in uk at the moment as the market is unpredictable due to this Brexit wahala .

Housing booms due to population increase, leaving the EU means the uk is no longer a desirable place for EU migrants, Eu nurses have already started boycotting the uk. And the uk has tightened the rules on other migrants coming here make it the most unattractive for potential settlers. Bearing this in mind, is real estate still a viable investment in the UK??

This is my home , where ever I die is where I want to be buried, I just hope it will be where it will my convenient for my kids to visit incase they are the type that will find consolation in tending my grave.
