What does "growing" mean?

I have heard Christians who claim to have been believers for over 2 decades saying the same thing. Define growing in terms of belonging to God? Is one "growing" in holiness or in "righteousness" even or is it the Spirit of God that is instead "growing" in power?

Everyday you learn something new about God that helps you grow spiritually.
For instance, as a Christian you might lie at some point and think nothing much of it, but at a point in your Christian race, those little lies would become serious to you, because the fear of God in you would make you remorseful about these little things we don't think counts.

I didn't know God when I was an atheists myself - I did not. What I knew instead of Him where the stories I had heard from the many who claimed to know God only it turns out that even they did not know God - I discovered this after I came to know God Himself.

Oh I see...I can't deny I observed this too when my relationship with God grew. All the while I thought I knew God I obviously knew nothing about Him. But thank God, with time God revealed Himself to me and I'm still growing everyday knowing Him more.


The Good news in this is, you now know God.

We know God exists because he pursues us. He is constantly initiating and seeking for us to come to him.
I was an atheist at one time. And like many atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention, and energy refuting something that we don't believe even exists?! What causes us to do that?

When I was an atheist, I at tributes my intentions as caring for those poor, delusional people...to help them realize their hope was completely ill-founded. To be honest, I also had another motive. Lewis went on to write a book titled, "Surprised by Joy" as a result of knowing God. I too had no expectations other than rightfully admitting God's existence. Yet over the following several months, I became amazed by his love for me.

Just to be double sure, I've heard it over and again that if a girl is celibate for a long time say 5 to 6 years before getting pregnant that she'll have some birth complications because the cervix has contrasted so much due to lack of sexual activities. How true is this?

I also read somewhere that a lady fainted due to severe pains from sex on her wedding cos she was celibate for a long time after. And a doctor said its because she was sexually active before going celibate, that if she was a virgin it wouldn't have tightened so much.

Now, How true is this too? Like after being sexually active briefly then you go into celibacy for a very long time? And if its true, how or what can one do to prevent such scenario ( fainting) and the pains. Any dilating drugs or remedy.
