My elder sister in Ontario keeps discouraging me that since my Bsc is since 2000 and because of my age I may not be considered. Pls seniors kindly advise, I would like to have other opinions on my success chances. ur elder sister in canada is telling u dont come to canada...wat are u asking us again? Who knows both u and canada better than her? U are earning 500k in a sure job....wat do u think abroad is? A place where bad thing never happen? Where no one can die by mistake? Where money is picked on the road? Bruh Let me ask u. Lets say dangote ran away to u.k like his mates were doing in the 70s instead of joining the hustle in lagos...do u think he would be better off now? We all need to change how we view the world. Its not easy anywhere. Nigeria may not be great but many nigerians who traveled abroad became stranded and had to come back with nothing |

Someone edited the nigeria page on wikipedia to make fulani a major tribe in nigeria together with igbo, yoruba and hausa.
They also claimed fulani's population in nigeria is 65 million.
Someone needs to re-edit that lie that doesnt have a valid source

Ikenna0b: Look at this one telling us stupid story. Go and read Niggeria's history, the reason Northern Niggeria was added to South Niggeria by the British is because the North was barely surviving and lack funds despite the Agricultural trading of that era. READ YOUR HISTORY, not telling us stupid jagons you created in your delusional head.
Secondly, I mentioned Niger and Chad because they are Northern Niggeria twins in everything both Tribal and economical stands thus, if anyone wants to see how North Niggeria will be without South, all one needs to do is look at Niger and Chad. bro...the north can survive without south Lets tell them that always so they can be confident and push for a break up Stop telling them they will be like chad bro...issa lie. They will be like UAE. The sultan can be their king...with different emirs and emirates. They can call it United Emirates of Africa. UEA |

Printerscanner: Chad and Niger combined cannot defeat Northern Nigeria in war. If Nigeria breaks up, Northern Nigeria will invade and colonize both Niger and Chad combined.
Northern Nigeria will survive on its Agriculture and solid minerals after all it survived in the First Republic when Nigeria practised Regionalism. Only Igbos did not survive the First Republic. Igbos could not stay in their region. They were all in South West and North trying to survive. I ask you this, till today, what is the population of Yorubas in Igboland? Is it up to one million? Now compare it to the population of Igbos in Yoruba land. Also what is the population of Hausa/Fulani in Igboland compared to the population of Igbos in Hausa/Fulani land?
Stop deceiving yourselves, Igbos cannot survive alone without the South West and North. lol...we can survive without the north and south west... i know u know this Beg the ss not to go with igbos...thats ur only hope now Cc charleys |

BafanaBafana: They were actually brave. It is so when you have a course you really believe in to fight for. Ojukwu however, wasn't a brave soldier. Do you know that during the counter coup of 1966, Ojukwu was in Enugu making calls to Lagos, Murtala Moh'd threatened to march on Enugu and deal with him and Ojukwu ran and hid in Umuahia that night. The police commisioner and others had to beg him to come back after which he lived at the police HQ for some days. The guy was such a coward. a coward who looked nigeria eye ball to eye ball and led a revolution which could have claimed his life? Listen and listen well...ojukwu might be rash, immature and uncalculating...but he isnt a coward. I can agree that the biafran war could have been won by a better commander..A commander who could rally the SS and make sure the federal forces didnt control nigerdelta..a commander who could get the backing of ussr and a commander who understood that the war doesnt necessarily need to be worn in a yr or too but that even if it took 10 yrs to win, its still a victory. Ojukwu obviously wasnt that commander |

Seetto: I believe you are aware that the constitution didn't restrict you from learning more than one languages, French is taught at primary and secondary school level, Arabic language is part of waec subjects, you can learn Portuguese ,Spanish, arabic languages in some of our universities, good number of Muslims communicate in Arabic language, Arabic language is the second language spoken in isreal, this is the country your Jesus emanate from, they don't pronounce god as god, they pronounce god as eloha similar to Allah in Arabic compare to God in English, I just hope youths like you will grow up and dissuade from total ignorance and be useful to yourself,
Avoid be first to comment youth, and stop embarrassing you generation on social media. great...but can u point to where french or portuguese is used in our official govt institutions or symbols? Why only arabic? A language u just admitted is spoken by ''good number of muslims''? Why does the north add religion to our govt? From shariah law and hisbah police to this? How can u not see a problem with having a language with religious significance in our military insignia? Why not just English? Why does the north complicate things for nigeria? Will this question be asked if that write up was just written in english? |

Worst religious fanatics ever. If it was written in Hebrew, you won't be asking such rhetorical question. but it was not written in hebrew. If it was...the muslim north would be the ones asking that question...and they would be right too |

Come to the north, the northern Christians refer to God as Allah which is an Arabic word. I dnt know why you guys are crying fowl on top Arabic language he has a point. We were colonised by england...hence we officially adopted english as our working language. Beside english we have 3 major languages recognised in the constitution....were does arabic come in? Now let me ask u this way...if peter obi become president tomorrow and decide to write that inscription in chinese...will that be ok by u? Lol Dont defend nonsense bro |

The situation in the entire North has overwhelmed the military and security forces.

YorubaHero12: Thanks for responding in a civil manner bro.
Firstly, Yorubas supported Jonathan en mass after the death of Yaradua when he was still an acting president. Remember the likes of Soyinka, SNG, Gbajabiamilas, even Sahara Reporters with the constant awareness on the need for Jonathan to assume the presidency seat.
Forward to 2011, we voted for him over the ACN candidate, infact I can still remember that most people in my area that gave birth to new babies then named their children Goodluck coz of the love we had for Jonathan. Osun was the only state that ACN won in the SW in 2011 and that was due to the Aregbesola factor because the people loved Aregbe so much that they thumb ACN from top to bottom on the ballot.
Let’s be factual bro, Jonathan squandered the goodwill and he wasn’t strong enough as a president to checkmate his comrades coz they all looted without conscience. Boko haram menace in the NE coupled with the chibok girl kidnap is among the many sins of Jonathan.
Let’s imagine, there is constant bombing in the SE and SW, and people are dying daily due to terrorist attacks and the terrorist already captured 12 local governments, in all sincerity will you vote for Jonathan again?? It’s justified to vote Jonathan out in 2015, as the mantra was anybody but Jonathan.
Forward to 2019, honestly I regret that the Yoruba voted for Buhari again, although the results are close coz atiku won 2 states in the SW, but with the ineptitude of Buhari he shouldn’t have been re-elected. But honestly Atiku wasn’t an option too, they are both bird of a feather and that’s what made people feel divided on who to really vote for.
Let’s be honest, each region is trying as much to become relevant and we are all just been hypocrites coz even with the 16years of PDP misrule, the Igbos made sure they vote PDP in majority whether they perform or not. The Yoruba in the same hypocrisy does the same in with Buhari because we thought our interest will be protected in APC.
About the Yorubas and Igbos constant animosity towards one another, I really don’t know what went wrong coz we’ve coexisted in peace without any killings of any sort among eachother in our history, it’s just an innate competition to best eachother and to brag over each others achievement.
To be honest I’m not sure there can be peace between the Yorubas and Igbos anytime soon coz the hatred has percolated through the main fabrics of our existence, both young and old hold some grudges against one another across both tribes, and the hate is mutual.
Politically, we have different ideologies, and we express our grievances in different way. While some perceive the other’s expression as cowardice, the other view the expression as chestbeating. It’s a clash between two ideological mindset. Only God can bring peace among us.
Peace bro! the thing is...while we fight each other, the hausa/fulani continues to advance their goal of overriding the country. There used to be natives in australia...they looked asian and blackish...but today australia is a white country. The natives were gradually killed and assimiliated. Thats wat the north wants to do to south while we bicker The only way to stop it is to either divide the country or take power from them with the help of MB and flip the script on them. Do to them exactly wat they wanted to do to us |
