If you are an adventurer, I’d implore you to take advantage of “Qatar Airways Trasit” visa that allows anyone to spend up to 4 days in Qatar. Since it doesn’t have extra cost , maybe apart from hotel.

That arik airline is not bad atall .didn't see all the comment when I booked .but when I saw the comments on arik online and heard from friends I felt scared delayed flight etc to my greatest suprise.my 5pm flight on 4 of April 2018 was not cancelled atall we left 5.15 landed 6.0 took little time to leave the plane I was at my place by 6.30 and the inside of the plane was so neat I think they have changed or maybe the one I entered oooo is not so bad so I will use it to Lagos soon will share my experience too .I think arik is much better now

They created a bad image that will take time to redeem especially on international flights like South Africa and New York.
So far their regional flights have on late, been on schedule. I think they need more planes too.

I follow him on Medium. He just released a new book, Skin in the Game. He posts excerpts from the book on Medium. Whenever I read his excerpts, I make sure there is complete silence, but I don't still get it The funniest thing is that other people do, and it's kind of like I'm missing out on a joke

I read Black Swan in the past, when I was a bit younger, can't say I really understood. Maybe I'll get him if I read again.

Can you read a book and drive a car? No.

Can you listen to an audio book and drive a car? Yes.

Therein lies the distinction.

A lot of people users audio books now and who told you I don’t get what the book is about while doing other things ? You are archaic and that’s it. Can you listen to yourself?

That's true, but less than one in 5000 books has an audio version so you are missing out on so many great reads

The type of books that I love to read are usually in audiobooks and you have to agree that most books champion same ideas.

Whether or not audiobooks are cool depends on your kind of person. I can only listen to audiobooks while doing something else like walking, or some other physical chore. If I try to listen to audiobooks alone, my mind wanders.

Why not harness the wandering to a greater extent where you think deep? It happens to me because I only listen to heavy books. From Psychology, sociology, public policy , economics, sciences anything along that line.
Wandering, I can actually get my brain to recreate the image of what is being discused.

Adam Grant and Nicholas Nassim Taleb are some of my faves.

Do you know holding a book to your face has its own advantages too, when we are talking about noise to the ears as a hazard? Reading prints is a good alternative to reading on the system or using earpiece, which its prolonged use may cause harm to your ear drums.

My book isn't "noise". There's different between " noise" and " sound".
And listening to audiobooks isn't just with headset. Mini speakers do the wonders, too.

My stars forbid I will ever hold a book to my face. The convenience and flexibility that audio books bring is next to none. You can multitask and listen and repeat as you like. Even faster way of reading.
