Leverage is one big thing in life. In business and the struggle for power, you need leverage.

What did she gain ? She could have been earning a lifetime salary by just knowing when to stop pushing further. Seems the man loves her too.

This photo will come and go. She claimed it was aimed at the wife when the person's image you ribbished is of the one that banged Hades into your skull.

Dear men, if you wanna cheat, do so with class.
If the man had cheated with Christine Amanpour, none of us would have known.

Farming in Nigeria dey somehow
Rarely before you see a farmer buy car, build house or live a good life .

Farming should be the last option if all others failed, even the help from government are not felt by the real farmers, only abuja farmers and office Farmers benefit most

Abeg lemme with farming
That is because we are still farming like the old ways. Just like we have outdated curriculum for schools, you think that's coincidence? Nah. Access to market, transportation, constant training and research aren't there. But the govt want people to just go and farm like it is 1914.
We haven't talked about insurance...what do you think will happen if a farmer loses his farm produce to flood? This things aren't hard but the Govt makes it look like rocket science.

Kudos to Amaechi. This rail line will link the Ajaokuta steel plant currently being worked on to Warri port, with plans to extend passenger service to Abuja.

If you ask some people why they want to vote this govt out, they cite economic hardship and lack of money in their pockets.
Apparently, PDP's 16yrs of "share the money" has ruined the mentality of Nigerians as to how an economy actually works.
They looted the treasury, spent the loots lavishly and this spending somehow trickled down to the ordinary man on the streets. And because money was circulating, Nigerians say the economy is good and they prefer corruption era to integrity. *smh*

How an economy actually works is...the govt builds critical infrastructure and investors come in to create companies/businesses that employ Nigerians. All the developed countries we're running to had to go through this phase to become economic giants.

Money isn't circulating unlike before because there is no looted funds flying around. No more free money. Instead, it's going to fixing our infrastructure for the future.
Your parents were not rich but were only giving you proceeds of corruption.
Lazy youths should go and work for money!

I see a great Nigeria in less than a decade if we continue on this track.
4+4 = More infrastructural developments.
fool. Not circulating because people like Ganduje de chop all. Get sense.

Africa association with China in less than 10years has yielded more results than our association with USA and Britain since independence...

Nigeria with rest of Africa should begin to put more efforts in making sure that Africa-China relationship remain the best...

As usual, America ll try to distract us but we shouldn’t allow this to happen.

America ll prefer to see us wallowing in poverty, only interested in building their usual military bases and keep our economy in comatose
My problem is this: in 10 to 20 years. Are we still going to meet the Chinese to build these things for us ? We aren't doing a damn thing about human development at all.

He was already VP then it under Yaradua and he had all the time in the world and we made so much money from crude oil sales during his period.
There is no excuse except we believe that they were just there to start projects and loot the remaining funds for such projects
Aren't you a bastard ? He was a VP. What significant role has VPs played in this country? Made so much money when this project was birthed on a loan? Your only anthem is looting and it is ongoing and even worse with the present day Nigeria. But your type is the partisan chief who believe a man that couldn't build a classroom for his village or state will rescue you and your family from decadence.
When was the last time you we heard of minister of transport/aviation? What's his profession?
That's doesn't matter to you because you also studied engineering but working in a bank now.
Go and continue with your petty life. I doubt people like you have anything meaningful going in your lives.

NAWOAAA!!!!

these are not the things we need!!!
None of our airports are world standard or able to take heavy traffic but we want to build morehuh
Who will be doing the travelling when most of the country is wallowing in poverty?

Our leaders are totally out of touch with reality!!!!

The billions to trillions of naira that was wasted on this project could have been invested on the roads in the state. Lets do the basics FIRST!!!
You know when this was conceived, the country was recording 7 % economic growth and it made sense because there was much activities and business environment was improving. For instance, Emirates was flying between Dubai and Lagos twice a day. United airlines was having daily flights form Lagos but the latter reduced their flights to one a day and United airlines stopped coming to Nigeria. This was a result of Buhari's inability to handle the economy.
It was a good thought.
Nevertheless, we hope they maintain it. And not politics.

Aboguede:
If it eventually happens as reported and the EU does nothing or delay doing something and the price of Android phones increase abnormally then it is a deliberate coordinated plan by the two parties to steal from the unsuspecting European Villagers

Infact right now Android phones are more costly in the EU already compared to other continents

Example, Samsung's j5 is sold for 190 euros which is at least 80k in naira. U can check the price in ur area

And this is the major reason uk left EU because joblessness is already killing many the empty but boastful EU countries
Thrashed. Google will have them selves to be blamed when the real competition comes knocking. Google is not in China but they have some of the most amazing apps and appstore. It is a lie that some goolge services has to be installed for Android to function. This will give room for independent appstores. The Chinese are watching.

You won't quit if you don't reduce your zest for football. Stay away from football. Start doing other productive things on match days. Don't go to where they watch matches. Track your development and see of you are making progress. In the end you will realize you are wasting your youthful life on something that has no value for you; football. You will argue with me that it is an entertainment for you but it is killing you already. There are other things to entertain yourself with. Go and read. Sign up to Quora and medium.com.

No, nawao....where are our people

How many times has this happened...a pipeline bursts....and instead of people to keep away, people promptly start scooping fuel or kero. Just one spark later...lives are lost.

For many years...NNPC and other agencies have been warning people.....Stay away from burst pipelines. Dont go near burst pipelines. But people don;t hear...and they will be claiming poverty.

Yes, this country is poor...but poverty does not mean we take leave of our senses.

Forget APC, forget PDP....when people start having sense in our country....perhaps we would see less of this crisis.
People without proper education and poverty can't have sense. .
Do you see well to do people scooping fuel ?

Christianity EtcRe: Is Wealth Tied To A Particular Religion? by BedLam: 9:53pm On Oct 09, 2018
drakeli:
No you are wrong. Christians are not richer because they are in those countries as if it’s the countries that give them the riches.

Rather, they use their riches to enrich their countries and create the kind of countries they want for themselves with their riches making them envies of other countries. A country is whatever you make it to be. But some other people in some other religion used whatever they have to create a “shithole” countries for themselves.
So what about other Christian countries that are on the opposite of what you mentioned. And I didn't see where I wrote that " Christians are richer because they are in those countries " . I was only interested in the geo-religious distribution of wealth.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Wealth Tied To A Particular Religion? by BedLam: 7:12pm On Oct 09, 2018
SarcasticGenius:
OP is wrong.

According to a study done by the nonpartisan wealth research firm New World Wealth, Christians hold the largest amount of global wealth (55% of the total world wealth), followed by Muslims (5.8%), Hindus (3.3%) and Jews (1.1%). According to the same study it was found that adherents under the classification Irreligion or other religions hold about 34.8% of the total global wealth.

The study found that 56.2% out of the 13.1 million persons listed as "Dollar Millionaires" in the World are Christians while 6.5% were Muslims, 3.9% were Hindu, and 1.7% were Jewish; 31.7% were identified as adherents of "other" religions or "not religious".

At the extreme end of the spectrum, the study found that Muslims make up the majority of the world's poor people with the Dubai based Arabic language media outfit Al Arabiya reporting that over 1 billion out of the 1.4 billion muslims in the world living below the poverty line.

The study aims to gather information which will enable aid agencies to determine areas of priority in for wealthy countries seeking to render financial assistance in the form of loans to less privileged ones.

Nice write up but you miss the point. God doesn't give money because you are Christian or Muslim. You effort is all that matters. Of course, Christian's would richer since they are in the developed world with democracy. Eg USA and Germany. Then you do the population math. Irreligious number is high because of Asians
