I mentioned something similar in one of the threads I created a while back.

Nigerians want the best things. You know, things like the Europeans have but dont want to pay for it. How do expect world class infrastructures to be built when 90% do not even pay taxes. Just with Oil moneyhuh

It doesn't work that way my friends. Nigerians have to collectively contribute to achieving the Nigeria of our dreams.
You are mad. The little money we get from oil, what has it been used for ? If people aren't paying tax then it's the fault of the government. The government knows people aren't paying tax but invested millions of dollars in a fruitless jamboree in the north searching for oil. That money is enough to give everyone social security number like BVN and we will have a better database that will track any tax defaulters.
Didn't the Govt introduce some billing to debit and credit on our bank accounts? Where's that money? The money recovered by EFCC can't be accounted for because the chairman doesn't know jack about it! How can you pay tax when you know it will be stolen ? Get sense.

AgricultureRe: Reasons Why Youth Should Choose Agriculture by BedLam: 8:22pm On Apr 05, 2019
Buhari that's been practicing agriculture all his life, what did he achieve with it ? Telling people to go into agriculture without raising the standard of education is stupid. Gone are the days when people did little farming. Now you need a lot of research, modernized tools and seedlings.

Anyway, I never take advice from anyone that gives advice for a living(eg bloggers).
TravelRe: Nigerian Airlines Lose Lucrative West Coast Routes by BedLam: 7:29am On Mar 26, 2019
Something is not clear here. Is Ghana not a signatory to the SAATM? if yes, why can't they reduce the fair as well ? If not, they should be charged as well.
Something is not right here. I think only countries that are part of the signatories are exempted from charges.

That said, Most Nigerian airlines(like arik) lost their customers because of bad services.

2 years ago, air peace had just 1 flight a day to Ghana and from Ghana.
But as I'm typing they have up to 5 flights per day.

Why not have a ticket machine at the train station like it is done in advanced nations? That way, every ticket sold is recorded automatically.
They want to employ everyone that's loyal to them.

Machine will reduce this hassle and cut the jobs but then we are sentimental dweebs.
PoliticsRe: Rotimi Amaechi Vows To Take Action Over Train Ticket Racketeering by BedLam: 12:08pm On Mar 23, 2019
None sense. Modern concept with so much unintelligent implementation. When machines are involved, there will be very little chances of corruption.

Problem: ticket racketeering.
Why?: Humans are involved.

Solution: No humans should sell tickets! Tickets should be bought through vending machines!
All these nonsense will stop.
PoliticsRe: Those Who Voted Buhari Again Are Common Nigerians – Balarabe by BedLam: 4:00pm On Mar 03, 2019
TIGRITIS:
Very correct.

If you notice, Atiku won in areas like the island in lagos, asokoro, gwarimpa, maitama in abuja etc while buhari won the mainland in lagos and other places dominated by the average common man. Thank God the masses won.

Looters were gathering and supporting themselves to come and start feasting on our growing foreign reserve, God forbid.

The thought of ffk, fayose, omokriminal etc becoming our policy makers is too scary.
I know your type. You have an irredeemable genetical pain when you see someone doing better than you. To you, being rich has to do either with stealing people's money or doing some voodoo that doesn't exist, and think white people are some sort of witches with technology.
Too bad.

Tks for ur response and explanation so far.
Pls put us tru d application process, do I ve to go to the embassy to apply or online application , how much is d visa fee.how soon does one get d visa. So did u leave the country in one month and how does one apply for the PR
Hey why do you like stressing innocent people? Google Brazilian embassy in Lagos and all the info you asked are there. She doesn't work with immigration. This is uncalled for please.

I applied as a tourist cos that is d only way to get their visa if u do not know anyone there. My hubby submitted and collected d visa on my behalf cos I didn't want them to know I was pregnant. I heard it is not possible again cos alot of Nigerians are going there to give birth under d disguise of tourism. So u have to apply in person. The visa is now extremely difficult cos their immigration is complaining dat Nigerians pregnant women are trooping in2 their country to give birth using their free healthcare. Nothing is impossible as people still get their visas though.Public healthcare is free. In fact u will be given some baby things In d hospital like pampers, baby clothes etc. Also, three times meal until u r discharged from d hospital.Free test for your baby and subsequent monthly check up until d baby is 1. When d baby is born, series of test will be conducted to know if hes healthy. Eg PUK, hearing test , blood group and genotype etc. It is completely free. Even immunisation is given without stress. Baby takes first immunisation b4 leaving d hospital. It will be given on d bed. Lols. Unlike here dat u queue up for immunisation.
I sent an email to the consular office and their reply was that you can submit in person or courier, which means it's not necessary to submit in person. Thanks for your input.

Rwanda, Burundi, Lesotho and Botswana; all these countries are really attracting foreign investors now , if you can negotiate well anyone with good capital will get citizenship and low Tax fee when you establish a business that employ their citizens .
I met someone from Botswana last year. It's funny as she described it... Buying a mansion in Botswana is very cheap. Even with pools lol. But the population is very small. Not even up to Delta State. And they are very nationalistic.

@dejol88

Firstly, any country that you want to go, don't use agents or send anybody money, especially on this forum. That 6 million naira don enter their brain. Na to use conning ways to extort some money from you if not all.

Secondly, if i were you, i would look for one peaceful African country and establish business in the country. 6 million naira is a chicken change if you want to go to the USA. Some African countries have favorable conditions for business. Example is Rwanda

But if you want to go to first world country, i would suggest you choose either Germany, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

It has nothing to do with illiteracy,Uber has its own disadvantages. It kills taxi business and that is why they are against it in uk,China,Italy,Australia and several other countries,Taxi drivers are paying taxes and regulated,i mean each taxi has its own territory unlike Uber where anyone can just decide to be a rider and enter any territory
stop miseducating people. You think Uber is the only taxi hailing company out there ? Those countries don't even have Uber as their number one! You should Google Didi, Yandex, gett taxi.

Who told you Uber doesn't pay tax ? As long as they have an office, they pay their due tax unless the Nigerian factor crops on.

The North.

You can be doubly sure that the Northern Nigeria will top in all the Negativities... poverty, illiteracy, terrorism, drug addiction, child marriage, out of school children, population explosion, violence, riot killings, political thuggery. ... just name it.

And yet the North has produced more Presidents and Heads of State than any other part of Nigeria with nothing to show for on their people and region.
And yet still, even with the high rate of illiteracy in the North, they still get the juiciest of government jobs and appointments.

I am not understanding the North.
Do you see what I'm seeing? If the North that's most uneducated provided the most numbers of leaders , how do you think Nigeria would move an inch in terms of development?

They are well oriented, the few ones left know deeply in their minds that the ambition is not to stay here but to zoom off, fela after all the noise, what's the gain, Nigeria keeps sinking and sinking underground, and I will now use my small lifespan to fix a country that was doomed since independence.
If you want solution for nigerians problem I will tell you, it's simply revolution, blood must be spilled for NIGERIA to rise, Ghana did it. Mark my words, certain people must die for Nigeria to live, the government is not afraid of the people, they impoverish the people and later feed them with scrabs. My supervisor in Uniben, a prof once told me how he attended a meeting, secrete meeting in one of the fed university, he said a politician was describing Nigerians to a group of politicians, the politician took a hen on its hands and was cuddling it, the hen was fond of the man, later he remove the feathers of the hen one by one until the feathers wey almost out, he dropped the crying hen on the floor, the hen cried away and he brought out poultry feed and poured it on the floor , the same hen came back and started eating from the scrubs provided by its prosecutor, the crowd was amazed and astonished, the politician likened the hen to the Nigerians and said, take all they have and later give them scrubs, they will still come back to you and chant pdp/apc. Each time you go and learn a stupid skill just make sure it helps you raise enough money to leave the country to have a better life, haba you deserve it na, secure you children's future Abeg

Sir you can't compare Lagos with those ones you mentioned. Cities in rank of Lagos are Abuja, Johannesburg, Cairo and Cape Town.

For your information there is this Lagos Access Bank International Marathon Race introduced by Ambode Government. Many foreigners do come down for the race. You can check it out. Ambode deliberately introduced it to improve Lagos Tourism.

You talked about diversity in what way? In terms of diversity only Johannesburg can rival Lagos... what are you saying. Do you know a lot of things happening on the soil of Lagos. Even in economy Lagos is bigger than the whole Kenya and Ghana.
Lagos does not sleep. It is in Lagos you know nothing gets wasted. Opportunities are converted at the speed of light.
See Lagos state is a state that needs to be studied on its own... many dont understand it
Haha. I know a joke when I see one. Please I don't have your time. Only a joker would think a crime infested city will be more diverse than a city with less crime and mild climate.

Like I said, running away will not solve anything! Are you voting?
Have you noticed that the good people with ideas are always running way for greener pastures while they leave the country for ragheads ? If you like, run to Mars but you will still be interested in this country and everything bad that will happen will break your heart! I don't have a problem with you going away and coming back in the future. But this country is our collective home. Don't forget that.

You are comfortable that's why you think this way, not all countries were made to be great, even Jesus knew the poor will never seize to exist from the earth, so does weak and poor nations, all I ask from Nigerians is for them to be objective in reasoning.
Staying poor is your choice. I was never born to a wealthy family. There's not struggle you've gone through that I didn't grow through. I was raised in a mud house so what are you on about? I've been to a city where I knew no one and slept on floors, what else can beat that?
Starving? That's a hobby!
Problem with some of you is that you failed to learn and be patient. Or you want to do is work and work for the little money so you can be comfortable today with no skills. I did that too but my greatest skill was learning how to live with people and understanding humans.
I still wake up everyday like the first days when I had nothing. I stay hungry and no, I am not comfortable like you said.
Please get the strap! By the way, no one made any country to be poor or rich. It's just making things work! From the way you talk, you sound like the type that's waiting for Jesus.
