Guardiola is failing at mancity, not because of his tactics BUT because of the players purchase.... Almost 85% of the players guardiola bought are plain average, weak and softhearted players who doesn't know what it means to fight and win trophies.

Same players that won him 8 cups in 4years are average. My bro, u cant win forever. Every team need to keep improving. U think dominating a league is easy ? Talk more of dominating Epl for few years.
He bought average players but made them up their games. e.g Sterling, Bernardo silva, Laporte, Rodri etc. U cant remove his impart in that team atall.
Its a blunder to even compare him to Mancini or Pellegrini

Even when c Ronaldo have a nightmare season, I just know that they will look for one award to compensate him, just to keep him happy.
Well as for me, my player of the year would have been debruyne based on pure football skills and everything.......... BUT I will give the best player to lewandoski because he was the highest goal scorer and he also won every trophies in front of him with bayarn, while debruyne won nothing with city.

And that take me to why guardiola is a failure at mancity

I can boldly say that the most successful coach in mancity modern era is still Roberto Mancini because he accomplish his task so successfully.

So far guardiola has fail woefully in his own task,..... Infact the only reason why guardiola has not been fired, is because he is guardiola the chosen one and also two of his friends I.e soriano are in mancity executive board interceding for him.

Why is Mancini successful?

The main mission of Mancini was to build a team capable of challenging for domestic honors and then win the first premier league trophy in over 35 years.....

Mancini did this by winning our first trophy which was fa cup then he proceeded by winning our first premier league trophy and then building a team of stars that will last for decade...... Successfully.


Then mancity realize that Mancini football tactics though have immediate success BUT was negative and the team though filled with stars didn't have football identity or philosophy of play.............. So they went for guardiola the only coach at that time who could do that work perfectly................ But guardiola instead wanted to go to bayarn Munich................. So mancity chooses to lay a ground work in anticipation of future guardiola coming....... Mancity needed a coach who shares the same tikitaka philosophy as guardiola, and there was one prominent name then, real Madrid coach Pellegrini who narrowly lost la liga title to guardiola after gaining 105 points by winning every other teams except Barcelona.

Why was Pellegrini a fore-runner to guardiola?

Mind you, Pellegrini was not mancity first choice infact he wasn't even consider initially, ......he was only brought in because he share almost the same football philosophy as guardiola.
So he was brought in to instilled the tiki take philosophy on mancity PLayers in preparation for guardiola within 3 years......... Winning trophies was secondary { so even if Pellegrini win premier league and champions league or not,.. he will still have gone after 3 years).
Infact most of the players bought during this time like debruyne and Sterling, were mainly in anticipation of guardiola and not for Pellegrini, including construction of city football academy, in order to give guardiola all what he needs.


Pellegrini, a less fancy coach even took mancity to semi final and yet an almighty guardiola cannot even pass quarter final.

Just say u don't like Pep Guadiola and save us all these epistles.
U forgot he won 8 titles in 4 yrs at Man city which include a Back to back epl amd carling cups in a so called most competitive league in the world.
All those u mentioned cant rival Pep when it comes tl tactics and achievement.
