What have a degenerated into? Have we totally lost our rightful thinking or just blinded with ethnicity or political affiliation. Is uba the only marketer in this country? Is it difficult to read and comprehend simple logic. Yes he may not be a saint, Yes he may be corrupt but if he has done well and you can't say it then pls ignore. This is totally uncalled for. A litre of petrol presently sells at N1000 per litre in black market in my area and one person has decided to ignore the call from his association of marketers to relieve us of this mess and yet we crucify him?? For what pls? We sure need not just to shout change but start with our way of reasoning. I just don't get it.

So these hypocrites can be quick to judge a handshake but fail to deny the killings of bokoharam all in the name of the same religion? Wonder where we are going as a nation/people. We ignore the very important issues and begin to flog irrelevance.

Misplaced priorities and total lack of administration. Will this feed the masses? Or make their lives better?

The highest height of cruelty in this world is to suffer people for no just means. Why starve people of their hard earned pay for months? How do they expect them to survive? The three basic amenities of sustainance on earth is simply food, clothing and shelter. If our elected actually provide this basics without dabbling into showoffs that only enable them to stupendously enrich their pockets then life will be easier for all. How do they expect this worker's to pass good knowledge to this kids when you create numerous problems for them by nothing paying salaries for long. Who will know explain to this kids what is loaded on the so called opon imo. Of what use is the roads and painted tracks when the masses cannot conviently have 2decent meals a day? Posterity will judge all this people and all who because of what they get fail to tell them the truth.

This has finally confirmed my sayings about him. A bad administrator of funds. Why start a program you can't sustain? Was there no feasibility study thoroughly carried out? Now he us wasted all the state's resources on irrelevant projects just to make his own money and leave the poor working masses unpaid for months. Posterity will surely judge him. This a true definition of cluelessness. I can only wish the newly elected president will learn from osuns mistakes and not bother to start any unsustainable program. No project should be embarked upon without thorough future projections.

Civil Servants from across Osun State rallied in
Osogbo today in protest against the State
Government for their unpaid Salaries for over Five
Months.
The workers who gathered at the Fakunle
Comprehensive high School blocked the main
Olaiya Junction of Osogbo and marched through
the Osogbo/Gbongan Road, chanting anti-
government songs. The workers alleged that
Junior Workers were owed for 4 Months while
those of Senior Cadre about 5 months.
The workers,led by the Chairman of the Trade
Union Congress in the state, Mr. Olatunji
Akinyemi, alleged said that apart from the failure
of the Governor Rauf Aregbesola-led
administration to pay them the outstanding
salaries, the same government had refused to
remit pension contributions, deducted from their
previous salaries, to various retirement savings
accounts.
They claimed that the governor was busy
spending the state’s resources on campaigns of
the All Progressives Congress and left workers to
suffer untold hardship.
The Osun APC’s attempt to blame the failure of
their states salary on Jonathan met a brick wall as
President Jonathan addressed a mammoth
gathering in Osun State and categorically stated
that the FG does not owe any state any allocation
whatsoever. The Whistle gathered several
opinions on the matter:
Mr. Tolulope Lawal said: “Federal government is
not owing any state, most state borrowed and
they
must pay back before the end of his or her term.
Aregbesola is owing 230 billion naira. it will take
osun 28years to pay back! is the type of change
we want?”
Highlighting the governments’ ineptitude and
questioning it’s change narrative, another
commenter noted that the Governor has no
prudence and his knowledge of fiscal matters
questionable, He said:
“The government is a terrible manager of funds.

Similarly in Edo, Workers of the Judiciary Staff
Union of Nigeria expressed their grievance over
the non-payment of salaries owed them by the
Edo State Government. The workers were yet to
receive their 2014 July salary as well as the
January and February 2015 salaries, according to
the State Chairman of the union, Uyi Ogieriakhi.
The Whistle has also gathered that doctors in
Lagos, another APC state are set to begin
indefinite strike on Monday.
