Sanchez01:

Your understanding of the instance you cited is clearly limited. I'll help you, regardless.

What you meant to quote

My response

Matthew 7:21-22 21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’…

Did Jesus not speak against the Pharisees and the Sadducees at the time?
Did the Apostles not mention and expose false teachers equipping the people with false doctrines/teachings/lifestyle?
I guess you would say Peter was never a true disciple of Christ since he dedicated 2 Peter talking about false teachers?
Perhaps Jesus Christ was never the Saviour since he also talked about these set of people, according to you?

In the eye of a religious folk, what I have done is 'attack' 'Christian Leaders'. It is not until a pastor is mentioned 'against' Christ that he is described to be false or untrue.

It is quite pitiable that the 'judge not' is coming up again. This won't be the time for me to go into details of that passage. Just like the then Pharisees and Sadducees, many Pastors have taken on the form of wolves in sheep's clothing perfectly because the level of gullibility of the modern day Christian is alarming.

@Op, I don't know u in person but it appears we share the same thoughts concerning the porous religious nature of our country. After going through your write up, I'm really glad that we still have some people with healthy brain cells. Thank you for a job well done @Sanchez01.

I thank the Lord God of Dr D.K. Olukoya a living example of Daniel in the Bible. He is an undiluted man of God. I pray for eternal grace of God upon his life and his ministry of fire.

Another gullible fellow spotted. Why would you vouch for your pastor? Do you realize he's human & can be fallible?

Advice: follow the word of God, read it & pray for guidance. Don't follow the 'word of men'.

Though Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan & Carnegie might have influenced the system & "milked" their society, the bottom line is that they gave back to the society & became Men who built America.

Their various foundations have played tremendous role in making life better for modern man. I read that Rockefeller's foundation played a key role in eradicating yellow fever from the world. Brilliant I must say.

African & Nigerian billionaires should learn from them & contribute to societal development not wasting resources on luxury & political manipulations.

@op, you took a risk but be careful next time not to go down on a random lady. I believe there's a remedy to your condition.

First, take a strong antibiotics cos it's likely u've got a throat infection. Alternatively, try the traditional method of chewing some amounts of bitter kola. Also chew some amounts of garlic & prepare a ginger tea mixed with honey. This works effectively & will improve your health condition greatly.

Your best bet is to go for a medical check up. Take care.

Romance / Re: Runs Babes: An Accepted Phenomenon In Nigeria by Beetwaise(m): 8:52am On Feb 04, 2017
zheroes:
There is an aspect the OP didn't give much details on. Most of these runs babes do that as an added source of income and they have very good marketing strtegy- referrals!!!! A girl could be working where she earns about 60k a month but she still sleeps around with men whether single or married to get stuffs like money perfumes. Etc infact its almost impossible not to be adulterous in behaviour if you are a successful man because they will do anything to Bleep you. It beats my imagination that 80% of girls on our streets can actually be slept with in less than a week, some same day, others 2 days , as long as you have some money to spend I mean less than 10k. We are in real trouble!!!
You & Op have already outlined everything. Over 80-85% of young ladies in our country are guilty of this. Go to the schools/higher institutions, you will be marvelled. In workplaces, same. In fact, within our neighbourhoods, they are multitudinous.

The most painful one is that they dominate the religious centres(churches). It takes an observant man to decode them once sighted.

For how long are they gonna continue with this? Forgetting they will be wives & mothers someday. Their morals & dignity are to be questioned. I'm baffled by this. May God save our society from this mess that is building up.

Even though 30years is an exaggeration. Nigerian graduates need to understand that "experience"isn't necessarily the blue collar jobs they all strive for.

What did you do in your undergraduate days? Did you volunteer at any organisation, apply for opportunities to travel out of this country. All of these experiences prepare you for opportunities in the future and they always have some sort of relevance.

To all undegraduates reading this, don't spend your life only reading or only partying. Please be dynamic and adventurous. Look for opportunities to learn all you can, apply for fellowship and travel opportunities. There are several online.

Take online courses on websites like edX, Coursera, MIT courseware. There are several of them.

I see too many one-way academic graduates. You need to step up your game
Well, you made a valid point. Being dynamic as a student or in whatever field we find ourselves is fantastic and avails wonderful opportunities. Notwithstanding, it is pertinent to point out that our system in this country is a total failure & discouraging.

Most jobs in the country a secured via referrals (man-know-man) & other unfair means resulting to high rate of mediocrity in various fields. If it were like this in other climes, I wonder if the word "excellent" would be in existence.
Education / Re: How Watching Porn Affects Your Brain by Beetwaise(m): 4:35pm On Nov 07, 2016
Pornography & Masturbation are partners in crime. Anyone who frequents pornography will be chained to masturbation. This has detrimental effect on the body & brain especially on males; it even brings about premature ejaculation & erectile dysfunction because it reduces the strength & resilience of the joystick. Once you quit pornography alongside masturbation, gradually you will witness an impressive mental, physical & emotional transformation.

If anyone doubts me, make further research on this topic: Effects of long-term exposure to pornography & masturbation.

Well, I don't know if the story is true or false but I would give Op benefit of the doubt. In a relationship, just live the moment & enjoy the whole experience. If you venture into the unknown or delve secretly into ones life, your findings could make you commit suicide or make you hate the opposite gender with a profound passion. Like I said, just live/enjoy the moment & then MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Also, while in a relationship, ensure your BRAIN & HEART are 100% in your possession. If you're in love, love with WISDOM & BE FLEXIBLE enough to accept whatever happens in a manner that will not give you prolonged emotional pains. Never give your heart to anyone cos it's your duty to guard it.

Above all, the most important thing is your HAPPINESS & PEACE OF MIND.

Good afternoon.

Sports / Ac Milan Sold To Chinese Investment Group. by Beetwaise(m): 6:16pm On Aug 05, 2016
The sale of Serie A giants AC Milan to a Chinese investment group finally took place on Friday, as Fininvest sold its stake of 99.93 per cent in the club.

According to an official press release, Fininvest values Milan at €740 million, in addition to some €220 million worth of debt. AC Milan Club of NYC shared the official statement:

The sale brings an end to the Silvio Berlusconi era, which was one of the most successful in the club's history. Berlusconi saved the club from bankruptcy in 1986 and signed club icons such as Marco van Basten and Ruud Gullit, building one of the most dominant sides European football has ever seen.

The Rossoneri won five European Cups and UEFA Champions League titles during his presidency, but the club suffered a sharp decline after their Scudetto win in the 2010-11 season.

Andrew Medichini/Associated Press
While rivals Juventus flourished under manager Antonio Conte, Milan took several steps back over the course of just a few seasons, culminating in last year's seventh-placed finish, which meant the club wouldn't even qualify for the UEFA Europa League.

Major changes were expected, and David Amoyal of Gianluca Di Marzio's website believes they are for the better:

The full contract of the sale won't be closed until the end of this year, and in all likelihood, the influx of cash will not lead to any major signings during the summer transfer window. Milan will have a €100 million deposit to work with, and new players are expected, but for now, the bigger stars will have to wait.

Per Calciomercato.com, the purchase of defender Gustavo Gomez is imminent, and the Paraguayan will be the first signing of a new era for the Rossoneri.
