majorbravo:

It is not necessary to be selfish. It is in a man's nature to be benevolent to the ones he loves. Just don't water the wrong flower and dont plant flowers in gardens for people who refuse to water them. Keep this principle and you can never go wrong. Love is a two way thing, if she is constantly taking and not giving anything back to make things work, its a scam.

Indeed, man is naturally benevolent & affectionate to his loved ones but you must understand that this generation of ladies in our country are almost the opposite of the older generations who were blessed with awesome virtues. Even a good number of the ones who appear loyal these days will twist & crush an honest man's heart once they realize he loves & shows true commitment towards them.
About less than 0.5% of Nigerian ladies are loyal & deserve to be loved wholeheartedly..... Believe me bro.

I don't understand how a man will trust a woman, even trust anyone.

No woman is truly your's, she only made a conscious decision to stick with you. So don't let it get into your head. She can as well decide to stick with anyone.

Look out for yourself, be selfish. If for nothing but to safeguard your sanity and well being.

Guy, your last paragraph sums it up. Male folks need to be selfish in relationship matters with ladies. Psychologically, it keeps the body, mind & soul healthy when the relationship takes a downturn. I've mastered it & will uphold such act continuously.

There's something I learned yesterday. If you want to date a Nigerian lady, go for the ones that are less active on social media and are not the hipsters.
Also, don't go for any lady below 26years..

Well said & recently, I've observed this.
Obviously, I'll apply these observations in my life affairs this year & beyond.

Yoruba. but i think tribe has nothing to do with this. according to her she grew up in the South

Seems Yoruba ladies who grew up in the south/east have a broader outlook about life.
During my days as a corp member, I served with one Yoruba lady that grew up in Asaba. She's very friendly, willing to go along with anyone irrespective of tribe, religion or gender & she's always willing to pay for stuffs whenever I go on outing with her. She really has a good vibe.....though she's happily married now.
Nairaland / General / Re: Why Do People Wait Till January Of Every Year To Make Resolutions? by Beetwaise(m): 10:46pm On Dec 30, 2019
vickydankal:
Most of our 31th night / 1st January resolutions were done with mostly emotions lacking determination enough to backed it up. Resolutions are not what you plan a night, just like habits it takes time to build. A night is not enough. Come to God with your expectations and desires. The speed we make our resolutions is almost same speed we break them. If we plan resolutions from November, it will be easier to keep.

Enjoy God's grace

Nne, you just underlined the truth, especially the bolded part.

MISSCONGENIALITY:
plain truth but guys will always remind such women that they will grow old and turn to evening news paper. I keep saying it that whether male or female, don't think of getting married until you have a steady source of income. Don't put pressure on Anyone in the name of marriage. Don't bring kids to come and continue in hardship from where you stopped.

Well stated, I agree absolutely.

A girl I paid her mother's hospital bill, fed and provided for her and paid her expired house rent around May with my hard earned proceeds from keke without making any effort to bed her (until marriage) have the mind to have sex with another guy in the house I paid for.

Guys should get smarter these days when dealing with naija ladies. You've learnt your lessons...hope you'd get wiser henceforth.

Take note of this: Before you help any naija lady (aside your mum & blood sisters), ensure YOU get MAXIMUM satisfaction, enjoyment & superb pleasure from the naija lady first in any way you can. Afterwards, you can then consider whether to help her or not.

Most guys get carried away with fake love & emotions from ladies that's why guys are usually hit hard in relationship matters in Nigeria.

Chief George Moghalu has been a wealthy & calm politician even before this government came into power. His family in Anambra state is known to be academically sound with a blend of wealth. This appointment would boost his political portfolio.

Romance / Re: My Ex Wants Us Back, What Do I Do? by Beetwaise(m): 8:47pm On Aug 31, 2019
ddugeri:
I will just cut the long story short, I have been dating this girl for long, (5 yes) so I got to know she was double dating , I confronted her and the outcome led to breakup, I moved on, even though it wasn't easy, after like 6 months, I found love again.
She now wants us back, and am already in another relationship, and I love the both of them, am just in a dilemma, please your suggestions.

@Op, make sure you keep the second girl. Don't let her go as long as you're certain she's faithful/trustworthy.

As for your Ex, pretend as if you've accepted her back. F*ck the living being out of her on regular basis, possibly make her fall in love with you again (don't attach your heart/emotions to her....just play along) & then discard her like a piece of gabbage when you've had your fill without saying a word to her again. This will make her learn her lessons & never cheat again in her lifetime.

Believe me, she's been dumped by the person who made her cheat on you that's why she came back & she'd DEFINITELY cheat on you again once you accept her back wholeheartedly.

I've been in your shoes before, it takes great energy to overcome the emotional trauma from a cheating woman especially if you loved, trusted, cared & stayed faithful to her sincerely. IT'S NOT EASY AT ALL!!

~ Be wise bro!

I have noticed something about Arsene Wenger during his career at Arsenal that you can never force your move away from his team and be later relevant in the world of football except the few

If I'm wrong where are people like Alexander Hleb , Alexander Song, Nasri, Emmanuel Adebayor and etal

Anyway i wish you well Sanchez in your future endeavors

Alexander Hleb went on to play for Barca. Though he didn't make any impact there, he went on to win the UEFA Champions league with them which he wouldn't have won had it been he continued to stay with Wenger's Arsenal.

Travel / Re: My German Fiancee Is Coming To Nigeria In 4 Weeks Time by Beetwaise(m): 6:24am On Jun 14, 2019
Adakintroy:
cryMy advice is take a chance with yourself. Be calm. Some women over there have a heart of gold. They have seen it all in there world. They probably looking for something different and true. Stay calm free you mind (although its easier said than done) ).You from a poor a
third world africa. She knows this more than you. She expecting to see poverty, so don't deny her that.Chances are she has consulted with her friends about this and she has gotten all kind of advice.

If she is coming to marry, let her come. Am guessing you were honest about your financial position. She is the one pushing. Stay calm let her do all the work. Na so God take DE bless at times. Just be honest with yourself and with her.

Show her your parents your envirioment. However poor it may look. Introduce her to ukhodo.(local urhobo delicacy).Make sure it comes with lots of the spice. Cant have ukhodo without the spice.

Don't take her to "shopright".that's the direction she is coming from. Rather take her on nite street walks and buy her suyer and peppers soup in the open. Let her feel the gaze and the silent side talks it will helps to make her feel special.

it's a once in a life time experiance. Let her have all of it. Boy kill her with your Africa/nigeria as you know it. The local way. Na she take her leg come. But do it it with enough conviction, with cheer on your face. She needs all edges off. She need to know that happiness does not live in wealthy nations. You were happy growing up on these parts.

Give her the local name of foreign object. engage that woman. Tell her stories late into the nite. Folklore, myth. They already farcinated by African folktales.

She is meeting you for the first time. Don't disappoint her. I mean Na love carry her cross sea. No be money. Again Let her feel it. We are nigerians. God knows we deltans. On our day the thing be like "follow come" for our body. Area no de carry last no be just metaphor.

Just no fear. No shake. She is already your woman. One things I do agree with though, two week is a short time to stunn her.but believe me guy. I believe you.

..blessings.)

@OP, take this advice. It's the best.
Let her have the full taste of Africa & your own environment, she will love you incredibly.

Best of luck all the way.

Health / Where Can One Get MVS-365 Multivitamin Capsule? by Beetwaise(m): 8:46pm On Mar 21, 2019
Hello guys. For sometime, I've noticed that MVS-365 multivitamin is no longer in pharmaceutical stores within the country. I've inquired from some chemists & they told me this medicinal drug is hardly seen in the country nowadays.

The health benefits of this multivitamin is tremendous, I've taken it on numerous occasions & I can testify that it's really an awesome drug. But as it stands, one can hardly find it in drug stores.

Please, does anyone know where to get this multivitamin?
Even if it means placing an order for it to be shipped down from any online pharmaceutical store, I'm willing to do so.

MadamExcellency:

Which APGA or APC? The former PDP Huber candidates?

Go and sit down jare.

Dr Ikpeazu is doing great with available resources at his disposal.

The State is doing well educationally, health wise and Infrastructurally. Before Ikpeazu, road constructions last only one or two years but now they State have durable roads that can last 15 years

Abia State was set back retrogressively for four years by Kidnapping during TA Orji's tenure untiled Gen Ihejirika send his Army Boys to the rescue.

You're incredibly misinformed!

Stop spreading political lies on social media. Abia state government is one of the worst in this country. PDP has done nothing tangible there since 1999.

Nairalanders, please disregard what the above poster said about Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, he's one of the worst governors currently. You guys should take a trip to Abia state, come down to Aba & see how that city is now in absolute shambles; littered with street thugs & poor infrastructural development. If you've got friends/relatives there, they will tell you more.
