So your idea of "building" is dependent on your own values, in a nutshell. We can preach and proselytize from now 'till tomorrow, men many and women will still fall into the purview and requirements of a 'standard relationship.'

Just really find someone who is like you, and do you, so long as it doesn't border on oppression/abuse or the violation of human dignity and right.
