We would be quite disappointed if the new series come out of the box with anything below Android 7.0 (Android 6.0 is so outdated), and we’d also expect at least a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM to run apps fairly well and with a big battery. At current standing, not much specifics have been made available by TECNO, so we will just keep our ears on the ground for more developments as they unravel. It will, however, be interesting to see how competitive an already saturated low to the mid-range end of the smartphone market will fare with this new entrant, especially as the product series will challenge existing competition to deliver a lot of value to consumers without compelling them to break the bank. Consumers who are on a budget can be assured of having an array of options to choose from.

Both phones are desirable. And it is all a matter of choice. Battery wise , the note 4 is better while the Camon CX has a good camera. Overall, I'll favour the CX

I think the Note is not as popular as the CX too. A lot of people know about the CX than the Note

Why not ask him how the graphics looks like compared to any infinix phone alive, mostly when watching videos or viewing pictures. It's nothing to write home about when it comes to graphics compared to infinix phones graphics.

I use an Infinix phone and I have sampled the L9 plus, I can say it's not a bad device.

I was about to applaude you, till I saw the shit you just ended with. That Tecno and Infinix are meant for the poor is the dumbest statement I have heard this month. Both brands make good phones too

Infinix Note 4 is a direct successor to the Infinix Note 3, one of the most popular smartphones of 2016, and it continues the traditions of the Note series.

The most notable features of this series of smartphones are a rather large screen, powerful battery and rather high overall specs. Note 4 delivers all of the above, with 5.7-inch FullHD screen (a bit toned out from the previous 6.0-inch screen in Note 3), 4,300 MAh battery, 2 Gb of RAM and 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6753 chipset.

Other features of this phone are: 13 MP rear with LED flash and 8 MP front cameras, a fingerprint scanner, Android 7.0 and, most notable new feature, a fast-charge technology, called XCharge that will allow you to charge your battery for about 45% in half an hour!

2. Infinix Note 4 Pro

Note 4 Pro is a premium version of the latest Infinix smartphone. There is not that much difference between these models, but the Pro version has 3 Gb of RAM instead by 2.

This definitely makes the phone much faster and will allow you to enjoy the latest games without any lag!


3. Tecno Camon CX

Tecno Camon CX is attributed to the Camon C long running series. The phones of this series are mostly known as camera-oriented, and the latest installment is not an exception.

Although Camon CX has really decent overall specs – 5.5-inch FullHD display, 1.5 GHz octacore MediaTek 6750 processing unit and 2 Gb of RAM – camera is where it shines the brightest.

CX is equipped with 16 MP front and 16 MP rear cameras, and although these specs are not everything you need to know to evaluate the quality of the camera, they show a definite improvement compared to the previous installment in the series, C9. In a nutshell, if you love taking pictures and selfies – this phone is just for you!

4. Tecno Camon CX Air

Unlike the case of Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro, CX Air is not a premium version of CX, but rather a stripped-down version of it. Most notable changes include less powerful chipset (quadcore MediaTek 6737) and a bit worse cameras – 13 MP front and back.

However, this still makes it better than Camon C9.

Furthermore, it is one of the slimmest phones on the market – only 5.6 mm thick!


5. Conclusions

Although these smartphones seem pretty similar to each other, upon further investigation it is obvious that both of them have their pros and cons. They will definitely find their own separate segments of the market. If you can’t choose, which one would be better for you, you should probably ask yourself, how often do you intend to use a camera on your smartphone.

If the answer is a lot – Tecno Camon CX is your choice.

If you need a smartphone with a long battery life – you should probably pick Infinix Note 4.

You buy a tecno/infinix phone today and 4 months later, the phone seem like it is old cos there are more than 7 devices after it.

Well it is not like you can use the useless devices for more than 6 months before the charging port starts misbehaving, the phone slows down, the screen stops reacting or some other type of nonsense happens and you start chasing carlcare up and down. I wonder why they cant bring their madness together and produce good devices. Even if it means just 3 or 4 each year but I guess that is too much cos it is junk they love.

Nonsense brand, nonsense devices, nonsense mentality just producing junk and calling them phones.

This spews hatred. So many folks have used Tecno/Infinix phones for years without faults. And some have used other popular brands within a short period with many faults. These things depends on usage most times. Even the blind can see and the deaf can hear that these brands have improved and can give other brands a run for their money.

Seen the Camon CX and I can say there is limited differences between the two. The Air looks nice.

All of them look alike. Except for some internal differences and the camera, and of course the Limited edition is very different coz of the mancity logo at the back and it has city's colours.

Note that you can't store apps on SD card. Google has discontinued that feature in Android 6 and 7

200 units? Too small really. For a widely received brand like Tecno, it will finish before getting here.

But some phones no need battery tips. With crazy battery capacity, you won't even know what a low battery is. Take Tecno's L9 Plus and some others with close yo 5000mah for example

Physically attractive. It's an improvement really.
