Celebrities / Re: Church Is The Worst Place To Marry, You Deceived The Guy” – Isreal Dmw’s Friend by Bekboycrs: 3:48pm On Nov 27, 2023
immortalcrown:
You guys should learn to be factual. Learn to make claims you can factually prove. The church will be the worst place to marry if what happened to Israel has never happened to any man that married from outside the church.

I am not defending the church. But your judgement here is very illogical. There are bad people in the church, there are also bad people outside the church. Whoever cannot choose a good wife from the church cannot choose a good wife from outside the church. Whoever is able to pick a good wife from outside the church can as well pick a good wife from the church.

Nairaland / General / Re: People Who Flaunt Wealth Online What Exactly Do You Hope To Achieve by Bekboycrs: 5:02pm On Jul 11, 2023
Lexzeey:
What exactly do people aim to achieve when they come online to front how successful Thier life is?

Most of them will claim they're motivating people, motivating people to feel bad?

Or look down on themselves for not trying hard enough in life, if you are really motivating people you'd show them how to make something of their lives too, your motivation is even doing the opposite, its inciting people to become desperate to make same money or force it by going into crime or fraud.

Go to Instagram you'll see many of them clout chasing, even on nairaland dairy section them plenty, what exactly are you doing, people wey no Sabi you, they're not your family you're seeking validation under the guise of motivation.

The UAE spender that was arrested earlier sweet my belle, such laws should be enacted in Nigeria because we have the biggest number of clout chasers in this country, you'll see many people tapping in to grace under their post.

Anyone who is successful have one story to tell about how they suffered for their money, you think I'd tell you the dirty things I did to make money if I'll become successful?

Let us stop glorifying this clout chasing, tapping into grace on social media won't change your life, the way people react to the posts from this clout chasers is the reason they keep posting, if you abandon thier post and don't interact they'll slow down, move at your own pace no allow anybody give you high BP or make you feel you're not doing enough, they don't care about you, they're only posting the riches so you can validate to make them feel good and make you feel like you're not serious with your life.

I know many of you will call me jealous and say no one owes me anything, yes but constituting a nuisance affects my sanity, and everyone needs thier sanity, can't you celebrate your wealth by buying nice things and treating yourself well?

Must you flaunt it online?

How many people you dey help with your flaunting?
You are probably flaunting your iPhone and the little you have too

So wetin jamb wan benefit from the victimization of the girl?

Just listen to what an elderly man is saying.

Family / Re: To The Married; Does Money Bring Happiness In A Marriage? by Bekboycrs: 4:48pm On Jul 03, 2023
I know money brings COMFORT in all form, marriage inclusive but does it bring HAPPINESS along?
Like does being married to a man rich automatically makes a woman a happy woman? Will it make the marriage a happy marriage? A happy home for the kids etc. I know the wife of a rich man would quite be comfortable compared to that of a low income earner.

She can easily outsource whatever she needs thereby making her comfortable in her home. From washing machine, maids, full dstv subscription, driver, Gateman, shopping, vacation and all good things that money can buy; does all these bring true happiness?

When a distance sister of mine got married to her husband years ago, we were definitely not too happy for her. We thought she'd suffer in a marriage without finance. The truth is they still have finance issues till now, but not something beyond their power.
It's close to 10 years now and I realise she is happy there, herself and her husband are low income earners yet they found happiness in each other. See her looking younger than her age with two kids to show for it.

I have also come to realise(from observation) that most times, it's likely for a woman to eventually marry a low or average income earner(as against the illusion of a millionaire husband). As long as the woman has something doing, they usually end up doing well. You see them looking better than they were when they both got married cheesy lol
Seems like a good marriage brings out the beauty of both sexes, little wonder why young ladies dont mind dating married men grin

So married men and women, what is your take on this? Does money bring happiness in marriage? Is finance all about the comfort it can bring?
Let singles like me learn something new

MONEY BRINGS CONFORT AND NOT HAPPINESS.

Music/Radio / Re: Unpopular Opinion: Don Jazzy Is Not Managing His Artistes Well. by Bekboycrs: 4:58pm On Jun 13, 2023
RTID:
Unpopular Opinion.

Of recent, Don Jazzy is not managing his signees well.

He has a number of fantastic artists, but most of them sing nonsense!

Look at Boy Spyce for example.

"Acrobatic, aromatic, systematic..."

What the hell is that?!

Just when I thought I had heard enough, dude comes out in a feature to sing something lamer.

"Carry me go where I no know, burst by bololo".

You spent months grooming your signees, only for them to release music that sounds like they recorded it under the influence of inferior alcohol, "shersee".

Look at Bayanna. You give her tatata, really? That's supposed to be a song?

I used to be so much in love with Arya Star.

Her Samaritan song was world class! Everybody around the world vibed to it.

Then, she released Rush. I was like, this is not Arya's style, but maybe, just maybe. I mean, her voice was everything, but you could tell it wasn't her singing.

All of a sudden, Don Jazzy turned my posh Arya Star into a full fledged agbero and got her screaming, "I go make you no dada, music sweet pass Amala Ketu".

I just lost hope after that.

I don't even want to talk about Rema.

This set of signees are the worst so far, not because they are not good artists, but because it seems Don Jazzy has given into the pressure of Nigerian mainstream media where "nonsense" sells.

But he should understand that songs like Amala Ketu can only reign for a short while and the song will be forgotten sooner than it reigned.

go and help him and manage them na. Mumu talk
Business / Re: Customs Plans To Ban Second-Hand Clothes (Okrika) by Bekboycrs: 9:26pm On Jun 09, 2023
datola:
Please ban the rubish okirika. It is our major economy sabotage.

Those illiterates commenting up who want to look like oyinbo do not know it's because of the toxic okirikas that textile industry collapsed in Nigeria.

Textile industry used to be the largest employer of labour in Nigeria. Millions of jobs have been lost because of trade liberalization agenda that allow all rubish from other countries to be dumbed into Nigeria.

If we produce and sew almost all we wear here we would enjoy these benefits among others:

1. Millions of jobs lost will be recreated

2. Most youth will be gainfully employed and thus reduce crime especially insurgency in the North

3. Naira will gain strength

4. Health hazard as a result of wearing toxic clothese will be averted.

5, Nigerian fashion brands will grow

Hope those who want to eat their tomorrow today will understand.

They have to also ban foreign clothes for that to happen Mr know all

SultanOfAbia:
They should ban that nonesense
How can you be wearing another person used clith. Do you know where they picked those clothes from?
Do you know what if the owner of the clothes has died and they sell the clothes to you and you buy.
Comot money buy original clothes
Or you wear traditional cloths
You would come back to complain after prices of ready-made clothe would surge due to increase demand Mr new clothes 😬
Wearing another person's used clothe is a no no from me.
That is how on of my guy bought okirika jeans and while washing it he saw blood stain inside the jeans.
He tried returning it but it didn't work
Do you know if the owner of that Jean was a victim that got shot and his jeans removed and sold as okirika second hand cloth and you gladly buy it and wear a dead man clothes walking around.
And you wonder why evil things are happening to you.

The one that shocked me till this day
I found out that girls buy okirika bra and pants. shocked
Thunder fire all of una. Bloody disgusting species. Tueh!!!
Imagine wearing the used pant of an unknown bleeding vagina.
Angel Gabriel, what are you waiting for?
Business / Re: Customs Plans To Ban Second-Hand Clothes (Okrika) by Bekboycrs: 9:19pm On Jun 09, 2023
You're dumb oga. Why do buy used cars that you don't know the lifespan or wether it was stolen. Why do you used 3d class aircrafts that has probably crashed before it was refurbished and sent to us.

Most of the underpaid civil servants can only afford okrika shoes and clothes because it last longer than the aba made that you have to keep buying new ones every month.

Useless Dumb rant once again.

You can't hate us while living on our soil. Sink that into your brain if you've got any. You can't even take half of what you dish out.
The reason why you are calling a particular land in Nigeria a Yoruba soil is because you can’t have anything tangible doing in other parts of Nigeria. You are useless like that. Those of us that moves from one part of the country to another know the value of one Nigeria. Once you’re born in Nigeria, you are supposed to call every land in Nigeria your land
