May the hosts of heaven and the 24 elders destroy this party call APC. |
He deployed them and their names and phone numbers were made glaring to the public and you people are still getting paranoid. The same way Tinubu said soldiers have come back to patrol his neighbourhood again yet a rally was held in front of his house and we couldn't see any soldier disturbing them. |

After GEJ has been declared winner, Buhari will travel to Syria to join ISIS. |
Sule Lamido said at the interactive section between PDP governors and the media that "remove any two of us from here and this party will continue, but remove two leaders from APC and the party will collapse. PDP is a Nigerian party. It's the only party that has candidates for elective posts in every part of the country". |
After GEJ has been declared winner, Buhari will travel to Syria to join ISIS. |

The Inspector-General of police, Mr. Suleman Abba, on Thursday in Abuja alleged plots by some politicians to declare parallel election results, warning that the police would deal with such persons within the ambit of the law. He stated this during a briefing organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission for accredited observers for the 2015 general elections. According to him, the warning has become necessary following threats by certain politicians to declare their own results if what INEC announces does not go their way. He said, “We have heard some people are threatening to declare election results, we hope it is not true. If you don’t accept the declared result by INEC, the best way is to proceed to the tribunal. We are telling the electorate to remain and protect their votes and if it does not favour you, don’t take the laws into your hands. In civilised society, they don’t take the laws into their hands but go to the tribunal.” Abba, who emphasised the need for sensitisation of the political class, appealed to those who have no faith in the judiciary to have a rethink. He said, “The refusal to accept the result and resort to extra judicial activities is a threat to the electoral process. But where they don’t heed the appeal, the police will act within the law to protect the electoral process.” The IGP further pledged that the police would be loyal to the country, the constitution and activities before, during and after the elections. Abba canvassed one agent per political party at a polling unit and urged voters to leave the polling unit after casting their votes in order not to contravene section 129 of the Electoral Act. He said, “There is likelihood you will commit offence if you remain at the polling unit. If you remain there, the law says you should be orderly.” www.punchng.com/news/ig-warns-against-declaration-of-parallel-polls-results/ |
Tension pervaded Enugu on Thursday over the killing of a community leader by Fulani herdsmen. It was gathered that the deceased, Pa Tagbuo Oguejiofor, 85, a chief, was murdered at his farm in Oma Eke village in Udi Local Government Area of the state. Our correspondent learnt that before his death, the deceased had driven away some herdsmen from his farm. It was gathered that the herds destroyed crops and polluted a water well that belonged to the deceased. Reports of the incident fueled fears of possible reprisal on the Hausa-Fulani community. However, in a statement, which confirmed the development, the Enugu State Police Command urged residents to avoid taking the law into their hands. The police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, who issued the statement, added that full investigation had commenced into the incident. Amaraizu said, “The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, through its operatives. has commenced full scale investigations into the circumstances surrounding the alleged killing of a man as well as its motives at his farm land at Oma Eke in Udi Local Government Area of the state on 19/3/15. “The deceased identified as one Tagbuo Oguejiofor, believed to be about 85 years, had on Thursday, gone to his farm, located at Oma Eke in Udi with his wife, when some men, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, struck and killed him as he was allegedly inflicted with injuries on his head. “The deceased body is now deposited in a nearby hospital for autopsy while a manhunt for the fleeing assailants has intensified.” www.punchng.com/news/fulani-herdsmen-kill-enugu-community-leader-on-farm/ |
It is a popular belief that 75% of Lagos drivers are crazy. I concur to that though. I've been to so many parts of Lagos and I must confess; majority of Lagos drivers are really crazy. However drivers on some routes are more notorious than others. Talking about roads notorious with drivers addicted to reckless driving, I'll take Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, Agege Motor Road, Ikorodu Road, and Itire Road. But my number one is Itire road. The road is so bad an narrow yet the drivers drive like possessed souls. So which road(s) do you think has the most reckless drivers in Lagos? |
