@Osila2,

The other alternative is to have a capital of $1.5M to be eligible for business stream visa. With that capital, most of the state's will waive the age requirement.

The process for registered and enrolled nurse is a long one and considering age is not on her side.

@Osila2,

The maximum age for investor class visa is 55. However, state or territory government can waive the age requirement to nominate him if they are of the opinion that the intended business will be productive to their economy.

Meanwhile, $59k is nothing compared to the capital requirements for business stream visa. You can read more about it below

@Xty114,

What is your qualification?

@easykay011,

What experience do you have?
The qualification is not interested in the class of degree you graduated with but your competency.

There is nothing really for economists. However, if you tell us what your work experience is in, we can be able to give an informed advice.

@Koleefem05,

Your best bet is to check AIM website for their requirements. I think with your diploma in marketing and Bachelor degree, you should have hope of a positive assessment.

AIM is particular about the true meaning of a manager. This means you must have some departments reporting to you and not just manager in title but also in function.

I can try to get get you the format for the organogram which is one of the core documents they require.

@TEECANN,

Could you please reduce the number of repeated sentences? Thanks.

I believe MofePR has done justice to your question.

Like he rightly said, the accounting assessing bodies have expectations of certain courses in your curriculum either through recognised professional qualification or University degree. Once you have these courses covered, you shouldn't have any issue.

Check their website and also email them. Only the assessing authority has the authentic and non-misleading information. What we do here is just to share ideas and advice based on personal experience.

Wow. This is good. We thank God.

There's so much delay from DIBP. It is taking too long to grant visa. I've waited 6 weeks now.

No grant up till now for July intake. Any news from Australia as regards delay in student visa to Nigerian applicants?
Student visa is handled by the embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.

You should exercise more patience as they deal with other applications. I am sure they know your school will start in July. There is no need to panick.

If your application is found worthy of meeting a temporary visa, it will be granted. Worst case scenario is that they request you to ask for extension from school.

Many thanks to you all.. I do appreciate the prayers and we'll wishes..

Good news is that there is hope for the second kidney and he will be out of the hospital this weekend. There is power in prayer not downplaying the efforts of the medical team also.

The exam went well, finished today. One of the best exams I have written...

Thanks to you all for the support and all.

I will go through the thread later today to see if there is any question yet to be addressed.

Apologies everyone.... I have not been available...

A lot of demanding issues...

I was preparing for the first semester examination starting on Tuesday and also had deadlines to meet with assignments and other assessments.

In the midst of it, I received bad news about my elder brother who is in the hospital diagnosed of acute kidney disease.

The left kidney is completely bad, the right is very weak. He is on a run of dialysis. At the end of the session, we will know if he needs a transplant or if the right one can be salvaged...

I cover your prayers for him.. Hopefully, it doesn't get to a transplant stage. The cost cannot be sustained alone..

@Sassysure,

I don't know who you are? You left no clue in your message.

@Zanyzara,

Thanks.....

Environmental scientists are only sponsored by Northern Territory and Tasmania. Nobody knows if it will be on the list for long. However, environmental science is not a bad profession as there are lot of jobs in the field especially in asbestos management.

If you are an engineer, environmental engineering would be a better course to study as it is still available for 189 although flagged.

Cities you may be considering Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane

Check Northern Territory's website for conditions attached to being sponsored as a cafe/restaurant manager.
I know the state is in high demand of hospitality workers especially restaurant managers because they are holding recruitment information sessions in Adelaide, Perth and Hobart for hospitality workers.

Read vetasses website too. The restaurant being registered should give you an edge. You only need to package the application well.

hmmm I love this,I'm headed to adelaide too and I keep hearing all sort of discouraging remarks about adelaide
It is not about people discouraging you. If you are coming with the plan of raising school fees in Adelaide, it is better you find school in other cities.

This will be the last time I will write this, there is high unemployment in South Australia, so it is a little challenging for students to get a job. It doesn't mean you will not get with time. If you are lucky, you may get on time but how many are actually that Lucky?

@holysainbj,

Firstly, this thread is not for those seeking to further their studies but skilled and semi-skilled professionals who want to migrate permanently. Below is the link to the student visa thread.

https://www.nairaland.com/3786389/general-australian-student-visa-enquiries

1. I don't know your course of study, there is no way I can give you an informed advice without it. However, average tuition for postgraduate study is between $25k - $40k per year depending on the school and course.

2. Well, many people have done the same, studying and working. However, it is not going to be easy at all as you will have to work your butts off meeting the demands of school fees. The pressure will be high. It is doable but very stressful.

3. Which process? For student visa, from admission to visa grant should be about 3-8 months depending on schools, you and Australian embassy handling student visa.

Yes I have and I had minimum of 7 in each of d modules. I applied as a resident care officer. My point is up to 60. Age 30 point, English test 10 points, qualification 15 points, years of experience 5 point. I applied for visa 190 which needs nomination. Thanx for ur swift response. God bless.
You will have to wait till July when Northern territory opens her state nomination again. Only Northern territory and Tasmania sponsor the occupation.

Tasmania is a no go area because of the conditions.

Go to Northern Territory's website, read requirements for nomination and start gathering the documents ahead.

Family › Re: Help My Brother Is Frustrating Me by bellong: 2:59am On May 29, 2017
@0110x

The problem is not with your brother but you because you permitted him to disrespect you in your own house.

Don't send him home, as the elder brother, you have a moral responsibility to help him build life skills either by force or with ease depending on what he chooses.

Moving forward, sit him down in a meeting to define boundaries for him. Come up with a routine he must adhere to if he still wants to be living in your house.

The first thing that you should have done when he moved in was to define boundaries and give him rules to follow to live with you. It is not too late, draw up rules he needs to abide by as a condition of living under your roof.

Each of the rule must have a consequence to follow if any is violated. Be sure that you follow through with the consequences.

He cannot be sleeping all day while you work your butts off and still be feeding him. It is not done. He is 19 and he should start learning how to survive now.

Get a carpenter to make you a locker where you can lock all the foodstuffs. If he doesn't do house chores, then there should be no food for him.

If he wants data subscription, he must help you with your business. Stop giving him free food, free data etc. Let him earn whatever he wants. You should put your foot/feet, if you want to be really hard, on the ground.

It is either he plays the game by your rules or he leaves on his own accord.

In other news, why don't you guys have key to the gate? Why must you always wait for someone to open before you enter? It is not good for personal security, standing too long outside in the dark poses a risk to you.
Your gate should have a small side that uses "jam-lock".
