Bankole1790:Read the first page. There is a link to the occupation list. In front of each occupation is the respective assessing authority. Accountant has three. You will find their requirements on their website. |
strangest:No.. but the polio vaccine can be recorded in the yellow card along with other received vaccines. |
Bankole1790:I will appreciate if you give me an idea of what you want to talk about.. @Rooneyboy, I will contact you.. |
uchenna2017:That is not difficult to proof. It is easier with Vetasses compared to AIM. 4 years is enough.. Customer service will give her options than the insurance. It is how she package it that matters. |
@Rooneyboy, I think I can help you make the payment if you can't find any other means. |
tobe4real:Flinders is not the only University offering graduate entry to Nursing. Charles Darwin University in Darwin does as well some universities in Queensland. |
@tobe4real, You have no choice than to comply with the assessing authority's requirements. Without an assessment result, you wouldn't get invitation from any state. I can see you are fixed on South Australia. Queensland and Northern territory also sponsor the occupation. If I were in your situation, one of those will be my option and not SA at this period. |
@Fehintywealth I have heard of the guy's scam in Akure. It is unfortunate that many will still fall into his scam as Nigerians are averagely gullible and looking for shortcut to things. Either you request for a refund of your money (not sure it is possible) or threaten him with the law. Moving forward, you can assess for customer service manager or an insurance agent. Northern territory sponsors customer service on 190 and 489 and South Australia on 489. Queensland sponsors insurance agent on 489. I think you are better with the customer service manager. |
@Fehintywealth, Do you guys stay in Akure? 457 used to be a tool in the hands of the fraudulent people to bring in people. It is why the government clamped down on the subclass and impose strict conditions. While your agent may probably have a link with those unscrupulous people who use it in Australia as a form of modern slavery, those days are long gone now. I guess it could be why he is posting you guys. What is your own qualification? |
fehintywealth:What is your husband's occupation? @tobe4real, While a positive assessment is an indication of getting an invitation but your chances are dependent on other factors like number of people in the pool for the occupation, your ability to meet the minimum points etc. If I were you, my worry at this stage will be getting a positive assessment. You will cross the bridge of invitation when you get there. |
@Dikachi12 You can write the CDR using your school project and industrial attachment. It is not compulsory to write from work experience. I didn't study Engineering, I can't be of help in writing a CDR. I believe you can do it yourself. It is a matter of putting your knowledge as a chemical engineer together in a document to proof that you actually understood the principles of Engineering. Catchdwrdfrmkd, a chemical engineer, can help you to proofread if he is chanced.to do so. Download the MSA booklet for guidance on writing a CDR. |
icon2:Since it is Electrical work you do, you can apply for as an electrician. TRA should be fine with your qualification going by what those who have gone that route said.. |
tobe4real:Your chances cannot be known until you put in for it. Go to the assessing authority's website for requirements (I think it is ACWA). Align your job descriptions with that of anzsco for the occupation and I believe you should be fine. A 489 visa is better than student visa. |
@Icon2, Sorry, I missed your post earlier. Is your company registered? |
tobe4real:I guess assessing as a welfare worker will be better. You can always package your job descriptions to align with anzsco description of welfare worker. ACT and NT sponsor it on 190 while most of the states sponsor it on 489. jiangchu:Are you single and searching? ![]() You probably was thinking about finding a wife... ![]() |
tobe4real:No, class of degree has no relevance in skill migration. Qualification in this sense means Bachelor degree, masters or PhD. @Dikachi12, 1. Visa 457 is not processed in South Africa but by the team in Australia. 2. Nobody needs the hard copy of your passport for any visa, including visiting visa, to process your visa. Australia does e-Visa. After the grant, you can ask for a label after paying some amount for it. From the above and correlating with your submission, there is a clear case of scam going on in your situation. Visa 457 does not have a definite time it will be ready. What can you do? Collect your passport and money (if possible). Read this thread and digest the content and start your PR yourself. 1.6M is enough to process it if you are a single applicant. |
jiangchu:I am not a transgender bro.. I never knew my writings sound feminine.... @tobe4real, Social Work/intervention is different from youth work,.Though there could be a correlation or application of social Work principles in youth work but it is different. What type of social Work/ intervention did you do? How many years did you do it for? You probably can assess for welfare worker and if for more than three years for welfare centre manager. Yes, psychology is very competitive. However, I believe there is quota for international students as that is what will bring money to the universities. The worst that can happen is to be given a graduate diploma before main Masters. Which university did you finish from? You don't give up on something till you have fought attempted and fought the battle. You can't be sure of your chances till you put in for it |
tobe4real:Why would you refer to anybody as a "nigga"? Your friend didn't complete his story. SA sponsors Youth worker only on 489 visa, if the state is really desperate in need of youth workers, it will also be on 190. Nevertheless, there are jobs in youth work in the state for those who can meet the requirements. What your friend didn't tell you is that you have to have experience in youth work and not just study psychology. If you have experience in youth work, go ahead with your assessment with Vetasses and seek nomination from SA or Northern Territory. Why think of studying nursing when you can actually continue with Psychology? Psychology is as lucrative as nursing if not more lucrative sef. Except it is not what you have passion for. You can start your psychology consultancy when you become a clinical psychologist. |
@Rooneyboy, I am confused. You initially said you work with federal government and now with a trustfund. What exactly is your experience? To answer your current question. Uchenna already answered most of it. However, from your profile, your best bet is to assess as an insurance agent with Vetasses. After a positive assessment, seek 489 nomination from Queensland. |
@Dikachi12, What is the subclass of the visa? How did you apply for it? |
jayooh:It is in the midnight Wednesday Australian time which falls on Tuesday in GMT + 1 zone. |
@Nkechima, You sabi Yoruba well to even know how to write it.. Good... OGIYEN:I don't really understand what you have written. What is your question? |
OGIYEN:You can apply for a state sponsorship if there is any state sponsoring the occupation. Xkoba:It will be at interbank rate.. @Zinger15, Provide more information as requested by others. But to answer your main question, degree from Covenant will be assessed as equal to am associate degree which is 10 points except it is a 5year course. |
morakky:If it is not more than $1000 USD, you can use your naira card. Most banks now allow foreign transaction. |
morakky:As long as it is still valid before assessment. manucho:The occupation requires a Bachelor degree to get positive assessment. Except you have a bachelor degree, Vetasses will not assess you positively for the occupation. @olly12, Do you have experience in the occupation you want to assess with TRA? TRA is different from EA and will require experience in the occupation you nominate. Meanwhile, TRA has a detailed explanation on their website. If they don't require IELTS for assessment, you don't need to write it first. Why not assess with EA as a civil engineer? Can you state the occupation you intend to nominate? |
jorgan:This is not to spite of insult you. It is for lack of better word. What you have done is Penny wise, pounds foolish. $810 is enough to write 3-4 English test depending on the one you write. Why subject yourself to the torture of Vetasses all over again when you could have written another English test. You have a positive assessment in your hand, I don't think getting a state sponsorship is that easy either without adequate work experience. Young man, dust your English and ace the 20 points. Yes, you can do it.. others have done it.. you will not be an exemption. |
yungmin:If you are not submitting offer letter and payslip, you must submit a bank statement along with others. |
Sorry, the contributory fee is for 457 subclass not 489. Tuition is free for 489 visa holders (not University tuition). However, the school may charge you fee ranging from $190-$1000/term depending on the school. Private schools are not free for anybody. For 457 subclass, annual contribution is $5100 for primary school student and $6100 for high school |
@junebaby, Bellacious' explanation of 489 is spot on except for the tuition fees for kids. School tuition fees are not set by the federal government but states. Depending on the state you get nomination, but for South Australia, children of people on 489 pay tuition fees called contributory fee.. ![]() @yungmin, Yes you can still do statutory declaration provided you have other documents to support it. |
dboss444:Do you have experience in this field? You can go through the PR route if you have experience in the occupation. At least a year experience is compulsory. The occupation is not competitive and you can get an invite easily once you get a positive assessment and you can get 60 points. Read the other thread on PR for more information. |
@Nkechima, Nothing to add to what pharnta wrote. @hephgirl, The taste of the pudding is in the eating. Why worry about the competition. Life itself started with a competition and you won. You only have a shot at winning if you are in it.. |
@tunai, 190 occupation is on the short term list and MLTSSL list if the person cannot meet 60 points. |
