ItsYourFriend: Who would help me write a good CDR report? Please I need an experience writer that would help me put togther an engineering report for EA perusal. If you actually earned the degree, you don't need anybody to write it for you. It just to write something to substantiate or defend your engineering knowledge. Yes, someone can help to proofread what you have written but not to write for you. @Chuglothen, You must have at least one year experience in any occupation you claim before any possibility of a positive assessment with VETASSES. |

My standing below, pending my PTE exam;
Bellong , Mamajaz , Alphadoor and other gurus please advice I don't understand.. However, from your point I know, you should apply for state nomination pending when you get a desired score in English. You still need an English test for state nomination. |

frank043: Thanks for the reply, bellong. I really appreciate.
The case here is that if I use my BSc, I will have 25+15+10=50points, which is less than the minimum (60points) required, and even less than the minimum (55points) for nomination. I'm preparing to see if I can hit an 8-point on IELTS(20points), then I will have... 25+15+20=60. What do you think? Any advise? The choice is yours. Either you use your HND and assess as a civil engineering draftsperson or BSC for structural engineer. You can't use HND to get a positive professional engineer assessment. |

frank043: Thanks bellong.
You mean I should go ahead and do EA assessment for structural engineering with my HND? No, with your BSC. |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong(op): 10:34pm On Aug 07, 2017 |
@Frank043,
In that case, assess with EA under structural engineer |

You don't need to waste money for 5points. Hit a 20 point score in English and you will be good.
Were you in Banji's class? |

My age is 25point already To have a shot at early invitation, you need to hit 20 points in English to attain 75points.. as it is Age: 25 Qualification: 15 Experience : 15 English: ? What is your occupation? You finished from Ife, how come you wrote a CDR worth an Engineering technologist? |

@David27617,
Most occupations on the MLTSSL are also available to be sponsored on 190. As long as there is a state willing to sponsor it.
Apply for the New South Wales nomination. I think you should get a response faster since bricklayer occupation is not competitive and they really need them in the booming construction industry.
Goodluck |

@paka2016,
You can apply for Engineering technologist.
@cleanspills,
New South Wales and South Australia sponsor bricklayers on 190.
Apply to both states but give more preference to New South Wales. Meanwhile, put more effort in attaining your desired scores through English test. |

Junnaid: , please what's your advise now since I have given the occupation of my spouse? Thanks The process for 489 is same as 190 and 189. Read the opening page of this thread for further information. What I am not sure is what vetasses will equate your PGD to. That is actually the key here. You can do the advisory service first, at least with that, the money involved is not much of a pain if lost. |

@frank043,
Your HND will give you 10 points, Bsc 15points.
7+ years experience will give you 10 points and 0 points for 2+ yrs..
You should apply as a civil engineering draftsperson... As noted by ozymigrant, you can work as an engineer or anything as long as you meet the employer's requirements. |

smoothvee: Thank you so much bro, I understand now bro.. was asking if anyone is in any of such schools .. buh I'm glad for your reply, I'm just thinking if I can do all this without the involvement of an agent when it gets to the Visa part.. or must I? Involving agent depends on the school you apply to. Some schools make the use of agent compulsory. You can choose to apply for the visa yourself. |

smoothvee: Please I left this 3pages back.. someone anyone.. atleast a school with like 14k for the whole duration and I wouldn't have to pay everything b4 I enter. Diploma. Cos I know masters would be more No one can do the search for you. A simple use of Google will help you. However, you can't get a program of $14k because most program will run for at least three semesters and average of $6k/semester. The standing policy is to pay deposit, usually first semester fee before you are issued a COE which you can use to apply for visa. Without paying the deposit, no school will issue you a COE. You shouldn't be asking people to look for school for you. It is what you should do yourself. |

The venue of the game is now in Ballarat, Victoria..

@ditho2017, Do you have any other qualification? The other option you have is to assess as a pharmacy technician with Vetasses. Tasmania sponsors it and if you can get up to 75points, SA is available for sponsorship too. @petetherock, Why can't your friend ask the question himself as I will like to ask some questions from him. Except you are 'impersonating' your friend... It is not advisable to drop them from the application now as it will be very expensive later and stressful. What he can do is to apply, pay for his own application and contact DIBP to put the application on hold. While holding it, he can then look for money and add them to the application later once he gets the needed amount. I repeat, he shouldn't make the mistake of dropping them off the application. @go4value, The last I know of city and guild's qualification, it was equivalent to a diploma which I believe is the requirement for most TRA assessed occupations. You should be fine. @Don4j, What occupation are you nominating on the list? |

Rooneyboy: Assist me on how to make the vetassess payment. I have sent you instructions on what to do. chytai: Thank you so much for your answer. According to them( NABTEB) advance level is equivalent to OND. If they say so. Metal fabricator requires a cert 3 or 4 which is similar to OND. |

chytai: Hello everyone, my husband have NABTEB (advanced level) certificate on mechanical engineering from Benin technical college and he wants to assess as metal fabricator from TRA. Please we want to know if anyone has ever assess with the certificate before and have positive outcome, please we want your opinions before we part with 1000 dollars assessment fee. He has been self employed for about 9years now and he has a registered company. I am not sure how TRA will assess NABTEB but I know in Nigeria context, the certificate is equivalent to high school certificate. |
