Dive into the pool already. IMO, this is not a serious issue. You can include it in your LOE if it's giving you sleepless nights.

You are right that the issue has been discussed severally on the thread. If it's any consolation to you, someone who had a similar issue has already gotten RPRF payment request. See the links below.

@40manlappy I remember when you responded to my concerns about wrong date of birth on my WES. It will be ungrateful for me not to return with the good news. I got my PPR two hours ago. Thanks for the support bro. To @bigfido, your inspired many here with your experience.

I will also like to thank everyone in this community. This is where I got most of my resource from. I have directed a lot of my friends here. There is nothing you need that hasn't been discussed here. Just be prepared to read.

Thank you. I actually asked how long it takes on the average for it to leave the "final review" part.
24hrs after. It was so for me and two other people I know.

Hi Guys, I have got a letter from CIC to pay RPRF, is that a good sign?
Hi @Momentum2017. You posted a while back how you got WES to update your dob by presenting government issued ID.

I will like to know the channel you used where you could attach such document to them.

How exactly did you go about getting them to update the wrong dob.

Thank you

Good evening all.

Just got my ECA results today and discovered the dob is different. Never knew the school had a wrong dob as all my documents have correct dob. My wife is the PA and her's is perfect. We intend going into the pool today. I have read responses to such issues. Will like to clarify if raising LOE post ITA explaining the discrepancy with accompanying affidavit and birth certificate resolved it. Or was there anything else they could have done before EE submission?

There is nothing wrong with ticking a "yes" and providing your spouses reference.
people just go with a "no" to avoid d hassle of getting a reference frm an employer who may not be forthcoming.

I ticked a "yes" for my hubbys job experience and had a job reference placeholder in d post ITA form which I uploaded a cic-format reference for my spouse.
That reference however, added no points to my CRS and at best, may have been used to figure out my hubbys financial standing as he transfered more than 80% of our POF post ITA to me..( i.e his stated salary/duration of employment may have given d VO some form of evidence)
N.B --just my thot and no proof.

Cheers
Very well said. You just added another point when there is a constant flow of funds from a spouse to another which eventually formed major part of the POF.
Its better left out really if getting reference for the spouse will be tough.

@impish, thanks for your help. I just checked my portal again now and the date is not there. Don't know what to do? I'm thinking I should maybe contact them through the "Contact Us" inquiry form. It takes them forever to reply. Any advice is appreciated. Happy Independence Day.
When was your verification mail received at WES? Probably you should wait a bit. The completion date didn't appear immediately after the received verification mail from Unilag. I think it was after like 3days or so.

Hi,

I think it's best to select no for spouse work history because I selected yes and post ITA, my checklist requested a work reference for spouse even though I was not awarded any points for her work history.
My 2 cents but let's hear what others think.
If the spouse has work experience and can obtain reference for it, why not a "YES"?

@belushi, please where do I find the completion date on my WES portal? Initially, it was "awaiting verification from my Institution", but that has been done for about a week now and the status changed to "Evaluation in progress". But the completion date is not showing any where. Am I missing something?
It's in the account time line under "Pending" subhead. See the image below

Congrats TTTTolu.

Finally ECA completed. 2 months journey with WES ended today.

IMPatiently waiting for next draw.
Was your WES scheduled for completion today? My friend's own had completion date for today 29/9/17 and she is yet to receive any result from WES.

Anyone with such WES experience?

It's two ways - indicate both and state ECA for only MSc or Indicate just the MSc. I would rather go with the first option as that might relate to when one started working. There's a question as though when did Belushi7 became authorized to practice this profession.

Spouse's work experience gained outside Canada will not add any point regardless of number of years. I assumed the work experience is outside Canada.

Thanks for the clarification.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by belushi7: 10:22pm On Sep 27, 2017
Kontagious:
1.) BSc and MSc should be in order.

2.) Yes you can. You may also add a consent letter from you spouse stating he's authorizing the use of the account/funds.

3.) Since you are the PA, please save yourself stress of adding his employment history. Just simply leave it in his personal history. You wouldn't even need to state the department there.

4.) If the letter is from a past employer, yes. If not, simply request a new one. For the address, use;
Central Intake Office (CIO)
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada.

Modified:
The #3 up there applies post ITA. Simply select No when asked if he has work history in your EE Profile.
I am interested in this question.
For 1) she said they have evaluated only their MSc. Would it be appropriate for them to indicate both their BSc and their MSc while filling the EE profile? Or are you saying they should indicate both but only signify ECA gotten for the MSc and state NO for their BSc?

For 3) You answered she should state "NO" for her husband's work history on their EE profile. Wouldn't they be losing marks for that when actually the husband has over 10 years working experience?

Will like some clarifications so I can learn here.

Not a problem. The USA and Canada have an information exchange agreement in place and can therefore get you travel information. Entry and exit dates for the USA can also be easily validated using the I94 database. See link below: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home
So you mean I should just upload only the current passport then?

There was some long discussion about this lately.

If you upload only your current passport datapage and all markings on it, you should be fine. That's what some people who have got PPR did. They had no problems. That's probably the best to do.
Hhnnmm, in my case, during my US travel last year, I had my entry marking on the current passport and the departure marking on the expired passport (don't know for the immigration guy sef ). This should require that I scan/upload both the current and expired passports so they can view the dates for both my entry and departure at the US airport. Right?

Hi Belushi,

I just applied for UNILAG transcript and I want to seek clarifications on a few things.

1. When I applied online, there was provision to attach only one document so I could upload only the reciept of payment from remita. I could not attach the WES form for transcript request. Pls how did you give unilag your wes form?
2. How long did it take from the day you applied online before UNILAG sent your transcript to WES?

Please kindly respond
Pardon my late response.

I scanned all the required documents, Remita receipts, filled WES form (& those not requested - my certificates) into one single file and uploaded on the site. I also mentioned in the area provided for notes that I have uploaded all those documents. Pleaded with them to help include the copy of my certificates in the package to be sent to WES.

For the timeline, you need an insider. The contact I was given was just a fraud. The guy asked for 5k/candidate and said it will take 3 weeks for it to be sent compared to normal 6weeks. I paid and almost didn't get the service promised. We were evaluating for three people and he only did one by the 3rd week. My wife had to visit UNILAG when dude stopped picking calls. We later met other people in the transcript office that had more influence and they were the ones that really finally helped us out. Even during the verification request sent by WES. So it took 3 weeks from uploading on their site to getting DHL tracking IDs for sending to WES.

Good day all.

WES received response on verification from Unilag on Monday 11/9/2017. They still went ahead to state the evaluation will be due for completion on 29/9/2017. This is after receiving transcripts and certificates since mid August.
Question is, does it take that long for WES to complete ECA after receiving response to their verification from schools? That's like another 18days.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by belushi7: 8:41pm On Sep 05, 2017
[quote author=jergins post=60166293]I think it's a surface mail. Mine verification was sent since 22nd August. Yet my contact claimed not to av recieved it. Already requested Wes to resend.

[/qusote]

Surface mail? Wouldn't that take longer time? May be we should just ask WES how these verification requests are made. Either through email or surface mail. I expect email for such institution like UNILAG though.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by belushi7: 6:25pm On Sep 05, 2017
Good day all.
I will like to confirm from those that have used WES for UNILAG certificates/transcripts. How long does it take confirmation requests from WES to get to UNILAG? Thought this is an email and should be instant. WES notified me of sending for the confirmation on Friday last week 1/09/17 and my contact in Unilag claimed they haven't received anything when I enquired today.

Will appreciate response for anyone with knowledge or experience with the time line for this WES confirmation mails to UNILAG. Wouldn't mind hooking me up with any known contacts that can help as well in UNILAG.

Thanks.

@goodboy2012, check out all the reasons from the beginning of the thread. S3 is a great device no doubt. But the note2 offers more.
PhonesRe: Samsung Galaxy III Vs Galaxy Note II by belushi7: 9:31pm On Nov 20, 2012
I have used the galaxy note2 for a month now and will agree with 'bandit c' to a large extent. It's a great smartphone. I upgraded from the note because of the bigger ram, bigger battery, narrower frame, NFC, quad core processors and a whole lot more. But you need to have a feel of this phone before buying. Need to be sure it won't be too big for your hand.
What sets it apart from the S3 is the stylus. Is simply amazing. i don't need paper and pen to scribble stuff anymore. You just swing out your stylus and start writing.

It gives me the satisfaction of both a tablet and a smartphone. So instead of purchasing two devices, I got one that can serve both purposes.

There are lots of such on the Internet that showed apple never invented any of those things they claim. Nobody needs to eat anyone raw. If truly apple invented them they can mention in their replies. I have also watched YouTube videos detailing that all apple claims are false.
I agree that apple can make those prior arts better though. But inventing them? Most blogs think otherwise.
By the way, I am not hating on apple here. Typing this out on an iphone4s.
