When I heard that, I wondered when South Africa became a specialist at treating malaria when they don't really have malaria there. That means the UK doctors know that African doctors are better at treating malaria but did not trust our health system enough to send him to West Africa so they made a fatal assumption that South Africa is best for him when they are probably as inexperienced as the UK doctors in malaria treatment

I have only been to NHS 3 times. When I first got in the UK. I wanted to do a malaria test so I could be clean of malaria, but they told me they didn't have experience in treating malaria and typhoid. So I ask them to run tests for every other thing.

The other two times were football injuries.

In Nigeria, I get sick of malaria 3 times a year. Typhoid one or two times.
The last time I was sick was from covid and after that the vaccine got me ill.

Most Nigerians I know don't get sick abroad.
