There is evidence that Joe Biden was complicit in his son Hunter's corrupt business dealings in Ukraine when Biden was Vice President.
Hunter Biden was paid lavishly to serve on the board of Burisma, a shady Ukrainian energy company, likely to sell access to his father.
After Hunter joined Burisma, the company asked him to use his influence to get Ukraine to halt an investigation into Burisma and its founder.
Hunter contacted Joe Biden on behalf of Burisma. Soon after, Biden pressured Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma.
This was a clear conflict of interest and abuse of power by Joe Biden to help his son's business interests.
Biden helped cover up the scandal by approving a statement denying wrongdoing.
A politician concerned about propriety would have condemned and stopped these corrupt dealings, but Joe Biden tolerated and participated in them.

This does two things for Trump:

1. It all but guarantees that his trial will definitely happen after the 2024 election which is a major loss for Fani and the democrats as we all know they are doing this for political purposes.

2. Trump’s legal team will be able to observe the trial of Sidney Powell and the other defendant, hear all the prosecutor’s arguments, view documents and adjust their defense strategy accordingly. This is tactically important but may not be necessary as Trump might be president by then anyway.

Now, anyone who smokes marijuana or drinks heavily and purchases a gun could be charged with the same crime, which is probably half of the US. But no one really is charged with it. Again, this is a political prosecution because Merrick Garland let a Trump appoint prosecutor remain on the job.
