The people of the nation have been weakend by hunger,starvation,unemployment,political instability,ritual killings and what have you that they have resorted to surviving than living... They have decided to protect self than trying to fix a nation that has been having issues before most of them were born...
The older generation have decided to use all mean possible to remain in power by using a nefarious few of the younger generation to unleash mayhem on the already weakened populace...
Our collective will and resolve has long been broken by the various challenges imposed on us by the few wicked elite and any civil citizen that decides to speak is silenced on the altar of these evil men...
It will take more than Nigerians to fix Nigeria... I can't take a bullet even for saying what's right becos my dependants are too many and the country cares not... If you can, be my guest...

If you were a manager in a company you would be fired for saying what you just said. Basically what you are saying is because of size it will be impossible/difficult to provide quality. Guy, America almost dwarfs Nigeria in land mass and population. How come they seem to be able to provide all amenities and security that it's citizens require? Plus, almost every citizen has a gun so how come it's easy to maintain security? And it's not America alone. Go to Germany and other normal countries and you will amazed. By your logic, Nigeria should be more developed than south korea, Latvia, Estonia, etc. Your mindset is the reason Nigeria has not moved an inch for almost half a century. When will you people decide to get the necessary exposure and education required for greatness. When for God's sake?

Kindly improve the quality of ur argument than start throwing insults that people like me are the reason why Nigeria is not moving forward and that I am not exposed. America and the so called developed nations can take care of their own security challenges because their forces are well equipped than ours, properly staffed,dedicated and ready at all times... Which of the security forces in Nigeria are as organised as theirs... What I was trying to explain to you was that the security agencies here are not up to the task and they are lazy as well as overwhelmed by the scenarios confronting them and they are understaffed and underequipped...how can they use such videos to start tracking the people in them when they have no proper equipment to do proper analysis and a lot of incomplete cases on their desks and too lazy to start new ones... Corruption among them is another reason... They don't have the kind of equipment and technical know how or pre-requisite training or funding to deal with the kind of people in their area of operations... And as a manager, you can't do magic when you are not given the proper tools and human resource or funding to work with... You will fail... America spends more on security than any country in the world...

Give me valid points and a better argument than insult me next time. And like I said before, its my opinion... I did not ask for insult but positive criticism and friendly conversations...

Size is a bit of a factor because those people in Ghana are a bit easy to control... Those doing mob action in Nigeria do so and get away with it cos they have a lot of places to hide when the act is done and our security forces here are extremely lazy and abusive... They will come with the usual excuse of 'we will find them...' Nigeria is big and its problems are far weightier than that of Ghana... Those youtube videos can only help like 2 percent of the time... The Badoo gang has been on a killing spree for sometime now and just killed a family of five yesterday and police, army and navy are still helpless... Yes size is a factor here... Understaffed and unequipped,overwhelmed and corrupt security agents against a densely populated country...those videos can't help... My opinion though...

Ghana is not close to Lagos in size and population wise, no even go there and Nigeria has a whole has its own fair share of crazy people ... Ghanians are more docile than Nigerians hence nothing serious has been done to those killers...

As long as the residents were very very wrong to take the laws into their hands, I think the soldiers didn't do well because not all those residents they are punishing is wrong. two wrongs don't make a right. The soldiers punishing any innocent residents is worse than the soldier wrongfully killed. But kudos to Ghana Military. Nigerian military would have killed any living thing they set their eyes on in the street and all the neigboring, neighboring and neighboring of their neighboring streets. Blood sucking animals looking for who to devor (Nigerian Military and police and all uniformed forces).

In as much as I agree that some innocents will suffer which is a pity by the way, this is a lesson to them that when you see jungle justice about to happen, try to blow a whistle to the police or those that can help and do everything possible to intervene....

Let me give you a little story.
I was coming back from work one afternoon when I saw a little crowd gathered around a young boy. I immediately proceeded to the front of the crowd and started hearing 'bring stick...bring stick... You own don finish today... We go kill you here today and lots more. It turned out to be a fine young man who was breaking into people's house in the neighbourhood to steal phones, laptops and other valuables. Long story short,I stepped in and got close to the guy holding him and pleaded that he release him to me... Being very popular in my area doing random acts of kindness, they gave him up to me... I started advising him right there and then and people joined me too... When we questioned him why he was doing what we caught him at,he opened up that he just got into a cult (for those who live in Benin city, you will know that Mission road extention and Upper Lawani is a den of cultists) And now and they beat him and asked him to steal to pay his dues if he has not got the cash with him... My heart sank... I gave him #500 and took him to a canteen to eat... Other neigbours and area boys joined up to give him money between #100-#500... After eating, I personally took him home and explained to his mom and sister what he has gotten into... We got the police and arrested some of those boys and they signed an undertaking never to bother him again... I felt happy being able to help... Imagine if they had beat him up severely that day, the wounds would heal if he does not die and he will come back more ruthless...
