I'm a medical student, and gf ( not sure what to call her now) is in MLS. We are both in same level (500l).

It all started in 2015, when we gained admission into the University. We began to read together and subsequently I started teaching her. Later on, she made me to read and susummarize her course topics (which I did for up to her 300 level) for her as she usually found it difficult to read with textbooks and understand the contents.

Months before my 2nd MBBS examinations, I began to notice changes in her attitude and behaviour towards me, up to the point that she told me that if I did not pass that examinations that, she will forget about me. But as God may have it, I passed successfully.

Financially, it started right in year one as I celebrated her and her mummy's Christmas from my own pocket. It got to a point that I usually give her her money almost every day (for up to 5yrs) Whenever, I'm traveling in any of our vacations, I usually give money for upkeep until I'm back.

In 300l, I bought her gift worth almost 30k and also celebrated her birthday which she demanded I get her 'point and kill cat fish' that cost 9k.

I usually pay for her textbooks and seminar work as we are all in medical school, I really do a lot for her, as she always told me she would never leave me right from yr 1 to 500l after which she started telling me, their people from Anambra will not let her marry people from Ebonyi State.

She's has known this for all her life, but decided to bring it up just now, when I'm beginning my marriage plans with her, She's started giving me unnecessary excuses in one form or the other.

In 400L, my elder brother told me that I should leave my medical school here to go and study the same medicine abroad. Because of her, I told him that I want to finish my school here since I am already in 400 level. That after my MBBS degree, I can then go abroad for my Masters degree...

This January, my elder brother told me that since I would be graduating in 2022 (which supposed to be 2021 but due to strike before the 2019 election) which is two years time, that I should be planning to get married before I leave this country.

This made me to ask her again if we are ending up together and she told me that she has to seek for her mother's consent, and would give me a feedback.

Before, she travelled (this is just before the lock down) as she was complaining that she does not have any money on her to eat and she want to go and learn how to plait hair which will cost her #8,000, I gave her #16,000. The next day after collecting the money, she told me that she received a call from her mother that she must come back to her State and she travelled with that money without learning anything.

Yesterday by 8:24pm, I called her to tell me the outcome of her mother's discussion with her. She told me that her mother insisted that she cannot marry an Ebonyi man, and she cannot go outside her mother's decision.

In conclusion, she told me that she cannot marry me.

Well, as expected, I'm bracing myself up for insults, (I really don't mind this right now) but amidst the insults, pls advice a brother who's fighting emotionally.

Really can cultural difference make two lovers part ways?.especially when they both educated..I wouldn't even want to marry or be a friend with a person with such beliefs..i hesitated to comment before when you wrote that you can accept any kind of insult and she is your first love..I fear despite any advice given..this girl can just walk into your life with any format and she would b accepted..I feel you have been advised enough.you know how those guys played with different ladies with perfection..just that you in the 30% when the lady played with different guys.. probably you were just a marriage option when mr good dicky or "player boy chidi importer" and other preferred bettrr option didn't click.looks one of them responded well and you have already served your purpose of bread winner and freelance offline school worker..move on..if you like accept her back when that one no work..na you and your village people problem

Some folks here, don't know what rap is. Tupac Shakur was the begining of Modern rap. His only competition was Bad Boy(Puff Daddy and his crew) and Biggie smalls. Before Tupac's style of rapping, it was all old school(NWA and shit), Tupac created the Rap that we know today. Else we would still be listening to RUN DMC, NWA style rap. Fitey Cent isn't a Tupac. The greatest rappers ever are Tupac, Biggie smalls, Dr Dre and The Game. Good rap isn't speed or skill, it's a combination of both. Fitey cent is close, but isn't at that level. Bones Thugz n harmony, have got speed but there's no soul in their music, the Same goes for Twista, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Jadkiss etc. Tupac is to Rap as George washington is to the states. Listen to Dr Dre, Pac and Game and you'll understand.

Drake is one great rapper who got game and gave another dimension how rap should be

While the fool 2-Pac stuck with, Suge Knight is in and out of jail till date..... those that stuck with him e.g. Kurrupt, Daz, Lady of Rage all went down with his fat butt.

The world didn't deserve 2pac. it's so unfortunate for someone who pushes himself into a vulnerable state in an attempt to change the world..you need to do more research and know that 2pac was already rich by 20..and all this rapper's you listed were not close to him money wise when he was alive

You know what? I keep having this argument with ppl. I won't go as far as to say Pac didn't release great albums but the whole thug image that made Pac have all that following was fake as hell.

Fact: Pac didn't sell drugs cuz he wasn't good at it. The drug dealers, his friends, told him not to sell anymore because he wasn't good at it and stick to music and that they'll give him any support he needs in that area.

Fact:As mentioned in the blog he was in a school of performing arts. I'm not an advocate for rappers being gangsta or not being able to speak english, in fact I'm against it, but when you come out with your middle finger in the air, shouting in court, and acting for the camera, then you're trying to portray a certain image.

Fact:Another thing I tell ppl is that after "hit 'em up" when he was saying he screwed Faith Evans, biggie went up to him backstage at an awards show and confronted him and asked what all the bullshit was about, tupac's reply was, "Its just business". Whenever I tell ppl that, they start making noise that its not possible Biggie went up to pac like he's some sort of Godfather. The way biggie handled it is the way grown men handle beef and not in some studio a thousand or so miles away making noise (thats a cowardly act, not gangsta lets not get it twisted).

Fact:Biggie on the other hand, was the one with the sort of gangasta past, he sold drugs and held his corner well, nobody could mess with him there but just because he was rapping about Versace and dancing with puffy ppl thought he was soft.

Fact: Tupac only started getting into trouble after he became a star when he joined deathrow, his first offence was jaywalking (thats when u cross a road without regards to traffic statutes). He went to jail for assault and he didn't like it (no normal human being sould love jail anyways) but he gets out and fools everybody like he's gangsta for being shot and going to jail.

Don't mind him. As if it's easy to run an enterprise. Clubs as big as Barcelona are cutting players wages to as much as 70% and he is here typing balderdash.

I earnestly encourage those that can pay in full or some percent to pay their staff but all in all running a business or private organisation is not easy.

And people have to understand this players are doing it based on goodwill and kindheartednes for the club because they are on contract..if they disagree..there is nothing the club can do than pay.. they are mostly doing in so that club can pay for casual staff who are not on contract..if there is no revenue..how club want to pay players and staffs..this where government need to come in..and what is happening now in Nigeria shows that they don't give a dime about you..I always knew but now I have confirmed it

Good day everyone,

I'm the guy that likes to flirt with women (trying so hard to change). Sometime last year November, I hand some sex encounters with 4 different women (2 unprotected) and by first week of December I started experiencing some symptoms which include;

1.White tongue
2. Occassional diarrhoea (watery, oily and formy stool ever since then. I feel sudden need to ease like twice or thrice a day).
3. A gradual weight loss (I eat very well, mainly fruits and proteins with carbohydrates on average)
4. Occasional hand tremor.
5. Occasional body vibration and fast heart rate.

I used to smoke marijuana and take alcohol, but stopped. I also masturbated for about 5-6yrs, then stopped last year which added to flirting with women. I've not masturbated since then, but still take alcohol (mainly vodka).

I went to a university teaching hospital, met with the consultant and explained to her just as I'm doing here (she was wowed!). She then directed me to do HIV test (came back negative), H. Pylori test (also came out negative) and another test (I've forgotten the name).

She then prescribed, nystatin oral suspension and vitamin B Complex which I've finished taking, yet no change. Meanwhile, I've taken fluconazole, antibacteria and probiotics of late.

I'm waiting for the lockdown to be lifted to go back, but before then, (who knows when this whole problem will end) felt i might get some help here.

Please Doctors, what could be wrong with me. Especially this diarrhoea and white tongue. My stomach is always rumbling after eating. Please help.

Good day ladies/ gentlemen, am a nigerian guy who went to ivory coast in 2016 but came back to Nigeria 2018 . I had some sweet memories that really look sweet and adventure to me.

i remember when life was unbearable for me i have no choice than to think about making some despirate journey, mind you i don't have any friends or family members over there and i was even discouraged by friends not to move because is not Europe, america or Asia. ( please am not advising anybody to take this risk ooooo). But believe me that journey changed my life.

Starting from how i left Nigeria to" Benin Republic" then i met an ivory babe at STC bus terminals.., i believe i was destined to meet that sweet girl for things to be easy for me. Anyways i have a lot to talk but let just keep it for another day topic or probably "part 2".

Now to my sweet memories

If you are married or you have a girl friend in Nigeria that u had promise to marry., please do fasting and praying before going to ivory coast, because their figure 8 women with beautiful skin and faces will not even allow u to think of coming back. I know many Nigeria guys who lost focus just because of this and they get married to ivorian ladies.

i remember the oppurnities at every organization i went too, just because am a nigerian i was treated like a star and any public places i went too i was attended too first just because am a Nigerian and the power of English language i was speaking to them. Infact i got my first job offer the first day i went to their canteen to eat but i declined it because i was focus and all my desire is to get a soccer team" ( please job is not easy to come by, if u are reading this note make sure u know why u are going there and business is the only surest way to make it there above any other way ooo).

" SAMEDI SUA" is Saturdays in ivory coast, and is my best days in ivory coast. Am not sure if i got the spellings correctly.., this days mother dnt have right over any woman no matter her age and they are allow to pass a night at their boy friends place .

My people, out of emotions i decided not to continue but to leave it for another day. And I have so many sweet memories about this sweet country..., And before i forget.... it's only in ivory coast Republic, u will see night clubs that start by "8am on monday" and the only country where foreigners has rights more than it's citizens because this people are very peaceful. Even the country "first lady" is "white " woman from france. I have a lot to say let me just keep it for another day.
