I made some errors after submiting my DS160 too. I consulted a seasoned agent who informed me that I could fill my DS160 as many times as I like. Its the particular copy i present on that day that will be used. The embassy staff uses the barcode to pull up your information, so its what you present for interview that will be used.
Please fill the new one very carefully. Also take the old one along with u to the embassy just in case they ask. But generally they won't.
Better still, u can just do what I did. Present it like that and just hope it doesn't matter. In my case, it didn't.

Pls note that the error on my form was a very very minor one. I advice u take the first option.

Royal air maroc is cheaper, i got mine for less than a thousand dolls thru a very close friend who happens to be a booking agent.

Guys the problem right now is flight within the US. They are almost as expensive as flights from lagos to jfk. E be like say i go jump train o!

@james2020. U were admitted'to nursing. Its just that u did not meet the english language requirement hence the need for the english language courae. U don't raise such issues with the VO except when asked.
It does not disqualify u in any way as long as u know what u are doing. I got a conditional admission too but in my case i had to take 2 accounting courses but the VO did not even bother to ask me.
I strongly believe u missed it somewhere when u were applying. U would have applied to them to waive ur english language requirements. I did and mine was waived.
Its ok, Just don't talk about it except when u are asked.

@masepat, i'm really sorry about ur story. That Indian guy is a really terrrible person. He denied virtually everyone he interviewed the day i had my interview. I just thank God I didn't fall into his hand. The chineese woman is way way more lenient compared to him.
Guys, u don't really need to choose ur interview post. All u need to do is to pray and hope for the best.

Its true that there are no hard and fast rules to getting a visa but discussing with someone who has done this before can make a marked difference in how your interview will go.
I know very well that there were some very very vital points i took from members of this thread. I wrote them down and today I thank God that i did. I have also given it to some others who cared to ask and it was also fine with them.
you can never find another thread like this anywhere. This is a thank u to all who made my F1 interview a success.

@ cuddlemi and everyone looking ad MUN as an option, its a great school. I applied there in january and their correspondence is amazing. They accept 2.2. I also used maples to follow up on the visa stuff but later abandoned it.
Just give it a try.

@buukola, EVAF is Electronic Visa Application Form, Its thesame as ur DS160. After filling ur appointment details on vfs website, u then go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ to fill ur ds160. Mind u, no corrections once u submit. you can just keep saving it so that you can go thru it very carefully before u submit it.

@Cui, U can book ur appointment without ur I20. That is if u are very very sure that u will recieve this document before the date u booked.

@Masepat, i think u are ok. Pls be very confident and speak very clearly and loudly. Forget about any stereotype questions just open ur mind and don't just speak sporadically. Discuss with the VO. Practice a bit before the day so that u can gain confidence, Expecting u bro

i discovered that your first 1 minute with the VO counts a lot.
Dont stammer. Just face him. I was able to draw a similarity between the questions they were all asking.
1. Why did u choose this school. They want to hear what u know about the legacy of the school, how their curriculum suites u. Please dont tell the it is because they offer the course. A guy said that today and was denied with the VO saying that other schools offer thesame coirse too.

2. How did u come to know about the school. Please dont lie. A guy told them today that his prof recomended the school and the VO ended up tying up the guy in a web of questions the guy cld not answer concerning his lecturer. I simply told the that i did my research online at petersons.com, usnews.com and braintrack.com. After that, i then wrote to the international student services dept of the school and I made my choices based on the replies i got.

3. What will u be learning when you get to school. This is where most people were turned upside down. Please know your courses. Their credit hrs and its practicability.

I showed only my sponsor's letter and statement. NO OTHER DOCUMENT WAS ASK FROM ME.
TAKE THE DOCS ANYWAY CAUSE U DONT KNOW THE ONES U WILL BE ASKED TO PRODUCE.

before i post my experience, let me sound a note of advice to all.
PLEASE KNOW INDEPTH YOUR COURSE CURRICULUM IN THE SCHOOL YOU ARE GOING TO ESPECIALLY YOUR FIRST YEAR COURSES.
THEN PREPARE TO TELL THEM SERIES OF STEPS YOU TOOK TO SELECT YOUR SCHOOL.
They don't care much about your documents oh!

@house, how do i defend myself in case i am asked why i do not have the originals of my notice of admission to the other schools i have been admited to.
I tracked it and discovered it will arrive on monday and my interview date is monday.

At this point, does the e mail notification suffice as a notice for admission?

VO,  Where are the originals,
How do i reply to this, bearing in mind that i was actually issued an original but it omited in the admission package that was sent to me. Then the notice was resent and will delivered by fedex later that day.

@ house, My notice of admission from the other school i applied to is yet to be recieved by me, Can i print my online admission details and take to the embassy as a proof that i got other admissions.
The school have already sent it but i dont have it yet.
