PoliticsWhich Ministry Best Suits PMB. by benson81(op): 5:15pm On Oct 09, 2015
It's no longer news that our president PMB is to head the petroleum ministry.this is based on the fact that he was once a petroleum minister.but presently there is a serious security situation in the nation so why did the president not think of heading the defence ministry? after all he is a retired general and military head of state.the president in my opinion is well suited to push for an agricultural revolution in the country as such he heads the agric ministry as a farmer of many years.so why the emphasis on petroleum ministry?.After All obj did same with little to show.

gboss4sure:
You guys misunderstood the change apc is talking about,

The question you should have asked yourselves earlier on is what type of change will people like Atiku, Tinibu, Obasanjo, IBB, Amaechi and co will bring to Nigeria.

The change they talked about was just about their pocket and continuation of funnels they and their ally's use to steal funds which GEJ was closing down through his anti corruption technology implementations like the IPPIS, starting from the subsidy stealing funnel.

Didn't OBJ ask GEJ and i quote, "you think you can transform Nigeria by building railways and reviving agriculture abi?" that question alone should tell Nigerians who their enemies are.

I only pity my friends who supported APC, they will hear it from me.
Indeed majority of Nigerians are gullible.it is very simple to see that if u sieve through the party more than 50% came from pdp.the same party they said destroyed the nation.so who was deceiving who i ask?

PoliticsAPC Where Is Thou Change? by benson81(op):
With all the hype before and after the general elections by APC about change and a new nigeria devoid of corruption.i find it hard that tickets for governorship polls were given to people as controversial as Slyva(bayelsa) and idris(kogi).not only are they controversial but they have had long runnings with the graft agencies for stealing public funds while they were governors of these states in the past. I know there are ppl on NL who whose stock in trade is to come as attack dogs to insult anyone who states the fact, becos of party or individuals.but the truth needs to be stated.

PoliticsRe: Enough Of All These Talk Of Ethnic Politics Against SE/SS by benson81(op): 7:53am On Apr 22, 2015
Babalegba:
Stop being funny, people do not have animosity against the SS.They favoured their son and that is understandable at this stage of Nigeria's development. IBO's are the main problem, they practice block voting and would do anything to stunt Nigeria's growth. They also tried to use block voting to seize control of a land that does not belong to them. They are also empty chest beaters. SS people are nicer than the opportunistic devious ibos
I am frm the SS.Let me state that this prejudice against the SE will not help for a united Nigeria.if u talk of block voting I believe its the same thing that is done in the NE/NW.You said the SS was favoured because GEJ was President. But when push came to shove its only the Ibos that stood by GEJ.
PoliticsEnough Of All These Talk Of Ethnic Politics Against SE/SS by benson81(op): 6:19pm On Apr 21, 2015
It has come to my notice of accusations against the SE/SS parts of the country of playing ethnic politics because they voted massively for GEJ.its their choice and its democracy!.but let me ask?1.what politics were the NE/NW playing in 2011 when they voted massively for GMB?.what politics were the NE/NW playing in 2015 when they voted massively for GMB alone?.what politics was AD playing in 1999 when they won only in all SW states? And what politics has AC/ACN been playing when they were only winning in the SW?

PoliticsRe: INEC Releases Presidential Results From 10 LGs In Ogun State by benson81(m): 8:27pm On Mar 29, 2015
t2luv1:
Wrong. To be declare the winner, the candidate must must the most plurality of the vote, and 25% of the vote in 2/3 of the 36 states. The problem with this set up is I can not see how GEJ can get 25% of the votes in 24 states. He can win the pluarlity of the votes because he is going to win the SS, and SE in a landslide. It is getting 25% in 24 states that is going to be his waterloo. He has to get 25% of the votes in 7 northern states. That ain't gonna happen. GMB on the other hand if go by the numbers is already winning in Oyo. Ogun, Lagos, Osun, and 25% of the votes in Ekiti. Add those states to the 19 northern states, You can see the writing on the wall.
no results from any states have been released.so nobody knows he final results for any state.Let us not rely on any online media,But only Inec.it will take another day for us to know the direction of the election.
PoliticsRe: INEC Releases Presidential Results From 10 LGs In Ogun State by benson81(m): 8:15pm On Mar 29, 2015
emmahoney:
You are right, does that mean that someone with the lesser number of vote would be declared winner? If yes, prove your assertion.
I did not say anywhere that a candidate with the lesser total votes is the winner.but even if u win majority but don't have 2/3 of the 37 states u cannot be declared winner.so no point for anyone to start celebrating.collation of results is still evolving!
