I don't know who you guys are but I am confident you are not referring to me. Like I inferred to the other poster, this is not about playing draughts with people.
I also don't know who you are but your antecedents are too predictable not to be noticed!
So why hasn't he been playing draughts with these same people before now?
Another predictable capping!

NGIGE and OBIANO all did well as governors of Anambra state, now SOLUDO is doing great as governor of anambra state
If Obiano did well like you claimed, how come Obiano's wife did not win as an assembly member despite being seen begging their constituency?
If Ngige is as popular as you claim, let him walk on the streets of Onitsha without security details like Obi!

This is the Anambra man we want as President of the great Federal Republic of Nigeria, the one to restore our lost glory.

A real man of the people, I am a confirmed Solutionist.
The day he declares he wants to run for president against your preferred candidate, that's the moment you will remember this pic and probably call him out!
You guys are too predictable!

NobleStag007:
People need to understand Gunn's perspective to making a movie. Gunn is a comic director. He loves having fun and giving a huge laugh and humor. He's always having one lovely character in all his movies that will carry the whole show and his vilian are always portrayed horribly the end.

All this trait ain't for superman or Batman. These are serious characters. That grows from their darkness to light through enormous pains and sacrifices. Gunn doesn't understand that at all. Snyder does and Christopher Nolan does.

The new superman, I won't watch it even though it's a success.
I agree!
Nothing wrong with a few jokes here and there in order to occasionally balance with the movie's main intention but making it probably the main theme of a action hero movie like superman was a major let down!
Secondly,I hated the fact that Superman constantly got his azz kicked by virtually everyone as if he was a rookie Shazam in the movie!
The Clark character didn't also fair any better as his portrayal was that of an emasculated and emotional man compared to other previous superman characters!
Gunn is a good director but I can't just help feeling he was the wrong choice for the superman movie!
They will likely make huge sales but we will still have to wait for another DC superhero movie that really embodies the full attributes of the 'man of steel' tag!

A socio-political group, the South-South Emerging Leaders’ Forum (SELF)
Same group that was recently created by mikano boys is forming south south leaders!🤣
ADC should do whatever they can to make Obi the flagbearer or forget about forming a united front against apc and Tinubu!

Just like hakim baba Ahmed rightly said in a recent interview in AIT,Atiku should give up his desire to be president and support someone younger instead of trying to hire his fanboys to create these irrelevant groups to attack Obi which I see as counterproductive!

By 2027,he would be in his early 80s and should rather take up the position of a king maker and elderstates man!

I thought the school authority claimed no life was lost and that Obi was lying😃😃

Excuzeme:
Napoli to Galasataray was a downgrade but he took it because he was desperate, after failing to make the Chelsea cut.
I am not sure that Napoli was not even trying to help him downgrade, for trying to leave them otherwise those amounts they put on him should have been reduced.
Go back and read my comments you replied!
Let me quote....'Galatasaray is not really a downgrade but a stepping stone...!'
No sir... Oshimen took the deal because Gala were the only serious club interested in him as other top clubs were scared of the price tag on Oshimen!
Even Chelsea wanted him but we're put off by
Napoli's huge prize tag which was above 100m...it's was recently they lowered the price!
Excuzeme:
The right move should have been from Italian League (Napoli), to Spanish of Premier League (even if it meant a cut in Salary or signing outside the big Four). The idea is to show his skills (which he has plenty), on the Big Stage.
He cannot take himself to the Spanish or premier league if clubs from those leagues are put off by his price tag or not considering him!
Going to Gala might seem like a downgrade to you but he still has the opportunity to showcase and improve on his market value in the UCL with gala!

Excuzeme:
And Yes, Character is very important.
Most Nigerian Players grew-up on the "Rough side of Life" and it reflects in their aggressive Character but it is what it is.
It is left for the Player himself, to 'Calm Down and Retrain his Manners'.
Attacking Coaches here and there, just because you are Star Player, is not the best. Foreign Coaches put a lot of emphasis on the Character of their players, they dont want someone that will come and make the dressing Room toxic for them.
Let it be a lesson for the Upcoming, Younger players,
I agree!

Osimen can still go to Gala who will likely be in the UCL,build and increase his value and in a year, big clubs will come for him!

I don't really see Galatasaray as a downgrade but a stepping stone to greatness for Oshimen if he can stay humble and keep improving!

My review of Superman:

Nothing super about him!

Too emotional for a man of steel

Got easily outfought by his adversies esp Lex and outshined by other lesser protagonists esp Terrific.
Superman should be the main protagonist in the movie(this was supposed to be his show) but he keeps being undermined by other supporting protagonists

Always....always needed help from others esp his dog

Constantly being undermined by an obviously portrayed 'masculine' and feisty Louis lane that is different from previous characters who were mostly feminine!
I'm not quite sure but there seems to be an intention from recent films to portray an emasculated male and an empowered/masculine female!

Overdose of comedy for a supposedly action packed DC hero!

Trying hard not to admit it but i see a political undertone in this movie though not too obvious and overshadowed by the comedy galore!

Some positives?
The dog was, hilariously, the hero of the film!
Important mention is Mr Terrific!
I never liked the use of Nicholas Hoult as lex luthor as I preferred a more bulky and menacing guy but I believe he actually did very okay!

My Overall rating for Superman:
5.7/10

My opinion oh😃😃
Politics › Re: Tinubu: Nigerians Happier, Faring Better Than During PDP Era – APC Chieftain by bentenny(m): 2:47pm On Jul 18, 2025
If this administration believes they have done well under Tinubu, then they should test their popularity by passing the electoral reforms amendment without hesitation!

This is my appeal to APC supporters.....if you believe Nigerians are doing better under the administration of Tinubu and APC,tell your senators and rep members in the national assembly that constitute a huge majority in both chambers to swiftly proceed with the electoral reforms amendment before them esp the removal of the authority of the president to select and appoint INEC officials including the chairman while making mandatory electronic transmission of results to the IREV!

Lastly, ensure that your assembly members decentralize the policing structure that will ensure state policing!

Let's test your popularity😊😊

Nice one!
Had nnpc gone through a transparent rehabilitation or better still handled by a public private partnership like NLNG,the price of PMS,diesel and LPG would have currently crashed by 60-70%

I thought the immediate former governor of the state Benedict Ayade claimed he was resuscitating it!
Such a revenue accruing venture should have been best managed by private companies as it has always been a norm that government cannot sustain an establishment like obudu ranch resort!
This resort if well managed and adequately funded could have been fetching billions monthly in IGR for cross rivers state!
All Ayade knew was to title his annual budgets with unnecessary and outlandish jargons!

I said it yesterday that the moment Buhari was no more, the propaganda machinery of apc spearheaded by Tinubu will unleash their attack dogs like sam omasteye on the former president's administration!

Balablu boys now have the freedom to blame the retrogressive nature of Tinubu administration on Buhari's regime!

They could not even wait for his body to be properly laid to rest before dispatching their venom on his administration!
This was the same Omasteye that was advertising Buhari in 2018 as if he was the best thing since sliced bread and fried egg!

This is just the beginning!
More attacks on buhari from the ACN branch of apc will be released in the coming days....

Politics › Re: Reps Move To Strip President Of Power To Appoint INEC Chair by bentenny(m): 3:02pm On Jul 13, 2025
The House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review is considering a bill seeking to amend the constitution to reform the mode of appointing the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission by involving the National Judicial Council.

Sunday PUNCH exclusively gathered that the proposed amendment aims to involve the NJC in the selection of the INEC chairman, thereby enhancing the independence, credibility, and transparency of the appointment process.
Firstly,I must commend the house of reps committee on electoral reforms for this very important bill as long as it will finally become a law and not just for showing off!

Secondly, moving the authority from the presidency to the national judicial council can be likened to the scenario of 'out of the frying pan and into the fire!'
To start with, the judiciary currently,is indirectly under the control of the executive as the appointment and selection process is still under the control of the president!
Hence,it will not make much difference!

A better solution should be to empower a taskforce made up of key stakeholders in the society like pressure groups(NLC,TUC),student unions,Civil society groups, the media etc being partakers and determinants of the selection process and then make the process of selection of INEC officials including the chairman to be open and transparent while urging the public to present evidence why a particular candidate for any of the electoral positions should not be chosen!

In summary, accolades should go to the rep committee for even considering such an important bill that will strengthen then independence of our electoral system!
However, handing the control to the NJC isn't logical as the presidency still have a huge influence on the judiciary through the CJN,hence there should be a transparent alternative which doesn't involve political office holders or those selected by political office holders!
