Until we start mobilizing and demanding electoral reforms,what happened at Edo election state and will possibly happen at Anambra state will be child's play compared to what will transpire in 2027!

The citizens must demand for electoral reforms for instance the removal of the power of the president to appoint and select INEC officials including the chairman and the mandatory electronic transmission of results while banning the use of coalition centres to determine results!

The allowances that an average senator collects in 6 months is enough to go into any business of their own choice!

Now imagine how much these senators collect in a year and in 4 years!

I haven't even mentioned their basic salaries or the percentage they always acquire from budget padding every year!

They should stop whining us with these unnecessary fables!

Have not been in the country for a while now, electoral reform? Open ur eyes....elected lawmakers know this, but we took focused on Presidential elections. Let's start from local govt....there is hiarachy if it's not balanced, then there is no way forward.

We all want the best for the country, but majority dont do the work, religion don make ppl dey find miracle, no one can perfect our economy in 8yrs. The damage is much.

My eyes are wide open and our electoral system is arguably one of our biggest problems because thats a platform through which leaders from president to LGA chairmen are elected!

The problem with most of us including emergency activists is that we are too engrossed in amplifying the very ills in our society or how politicians are seemingly too powerful for us to take out forgetting that if we all demand in one voice,the implementation of the electoral reforms,the national assembly will be compelled to do so even if it might lead to their political death sentence!
Implementation of the electoral laws will open doors to better leaders that will alter the fortunes of our failing system!
Imagine an electoral system that puts the power of a national assembly member on the palm of the citizens or electorates?
