This year didn't start on a good note. So many things gone wrong within the space of 4 days. |
When educated people are doing what they know, touts would always want to go extra mile. |
poseidon12:no one is speared!! If you get to see this live, you'll cry. When i went to the teaching hospital yesterday, i was moved to tears. Infants, babies that are not up to one year are killed/slaughtered like fowls. It's better imagined than seen. |
millionboi2:Trust me, you know not little about Benue guys. However, Two wrongs can't make a right. |
Uptill now, sounds of gunshots everywhere. Please pray for Benue. It's no longer happy new year for us!! |
tonytony208:really? |
Aboki1991:i fear una o. I remember wetin happen November last year. The day of that curfew was the same day i was returning from Ekiti. |
It is disheartening. Other photos and Photos of military trucks arriving the round about.
|
Note! Why the protest was on going, i didn't take note of any damage. I said this because, early this morning why i was on my way to meet up an appointment i had, i met the protest at the wurukum round about and then i had to stay a little while if the space could be cleared for me to pass. Wurukum round about is one of the Major round about in North Central that connects several states to and fro Enugu, Ebonyi, Nassarawa, Plateau, Taraba, Abuja, kaduna, crossriver, e.t.c Noth withstanding the peaceful nature of it, Tear gas were fired at people, Soldiers were seen beating people, i saw a dead body been carried in the trunk of an SUV, most said he was shot why the police fired "tear gas". Hmm. At that point, i got upset and left. It was why i was going home towards Judges quarters that i saw Soldiers beating up other guys beside Bolek Filling Station gboko road for protesting. Makurdi currently is in serious Unrest as boys have promised to protest till Buhari comes himself.

peterphd:Guma, kwatar (don't know if i got this spelling correctly) to be precised. |
Earlier this morning there was a report that much more persons were killed, houses burnt, farm land destroyed, properties worth millions of Naira were also destroyed..
|
Also, during the course of the protest, two persons were shot. This pictures however are NOT the ones of the people shot during the protest but those that made people angry and took to protest. Pictures of the two persons shot in the next photos.
|
In addition/continuation to the previous post on the ongoing protest in Makurdi, I'll post more photos here. PLEASE BE WARNED! GRAPHIC CONTENT INCLUDED.

Move On with your better life. Marriage is NOT the necessary and sufficient conditions for Happiness. |
The man forgot those priest in Benue are very stubborn. |
peterphd:how wish. But what i meant was that in as much as they are all over in the federal government, there is no single federal government presence in Otukpo and Benue south as a whole. What a pity!!! |
In Benue some are selling a high as N280 |
No where in Otukpo is Developed.NO Roads NO WATER! NO LIGHT! everywhere. Yet they've had the best of the best at the National level politically and otherwise.. |
Strive Masiwaya, i believe in that man and his business ethics. Trust Kwese TV to take out DSTV in the nearest future. |
Do people still take this man serious? I don't. What happened to him during the tenure of President Jonathan won't happen in this administration. Talk as much rubbish as you like, insult and do whatever you want BUT no federal political appointment for you. |
One thing so many people fail to understand about this man is that, he is a business man with so many investments scattered all around the world. Do a little research about him and you'll be thrilled. |
jeffizy:smiles... Other areas such as? He met a ready collapsed economy. Just like you admitted to the fact that things were beyond him. He was rather on a recovery mission. Everything that made the country work was down. So which other areas did he have control but didn't act? A quick reminder that the OP talked about oil and that is what drives the Nigerian economy. And Mind you also that Nigeria had no single control of the oil price(s) in the international Market, lest we should say they would have controlled things. The oil was the Major source of income for the country and the driver of the economy, ones that oil price collapsed, the whole economy collapsed with it Or were you expecting the Groundnuts pyramids in the first or second year of his rule to perform the magic? That magic was never going to be possible. If Nigeria had other sources of income then it would have been better. The NOT savings culture of Nigeria and by extension Africa is what is dealing with us all. If the Money Nigeria Made from crude Oil sales were SAVED as it should then the president would have had a nearly smooth ride. |
IPOB are like Chameleons, they've now changed to IPAD |
Cumber that has been known to work in different areas of a human body? Tufiakwa!!! |
Mccullum:must we continue to copy them and remain like slaves to them? That is Europe and this is Africa. We're independent, as such we can set our laws and do as iy pleases Us. It's their choice to allow, permit and use hijab but we here don't want it. Simple. Abeg shift make i pass. |
The laws of the Land MUST be kept. Cover a hijab and be called to bar at your own law school. Kudos to law school for keeping up the standards. |
Swanzi:sorry, i been no mean to bex you. |
raphafire:It is a phenomenon. |
jimyjames:The Minority can not Rule over the Majority. Have you ever seen an Igbo man President? It is everywhere. |
It is called Change. Nigerians will feel the change of APC gradually. |
So that small man is that old.. |
toyinakomolafe:oh yes. I was there when he did the commissioning of the dual carriage road. I've got very good friends there that i would keep visiting. |
