Akbapio will deliver his senatorial district, Okowa will bring his Senatorial district. Rivers guys don't like Wike (do your research) so the votes there will split. Well said. No body wants Atiku to fail. And nobody feels SE can't produce a VP. i looked at various indices before i drew my conclusion. There's no how Atiku can penetrate SW without first having SW person very close to him. A typical yoruba man considers what favours him first. Let's be realistic to ourselves. How many Yorubas will truly vote for PDP? remember during Jonathan's regime the complained of marginalisation from Jonathan's government, which was one of the unspoken campaign strategy they used against him. Why didn't look for a way to break into the Southwest, his picking Peter Obi may remind the yorubas of the Jonathan's treatment. Definitely, if Atiku wins, he would want to come back for a second term, during the second term give the Southeast guys the VP and a promise to handover presidency to them, but for now they should take Senate presidency or secretary to government of the federation and other juicy positions. As it stands today, the whole of Southeast is for PDP, the whole of Southwest is APC, how will he break into Southwest? A normal SW person will say, nothing for them in PDP. What position would they have in his government? Even if Osinbajo has done nothing for them, they will still want him there. And permit me to say, it's only you who think Osinbajo has done nothing. This is Nigeria.

You've said it well. But, how sure are we that the judiciary will overturn that? i am seeing a battle that will be fought for 4years. If Jonathan had refused to accept defeat, you know how long that case would hav been in court? Thanks so much. The same thing they did to Jonathan. Yorubas won't associate themselves with what won't favour them. VP from Southwest would have been the best for the game. Yorubas can't vote against Osinbanjo, that's their Son. But if Atiku had choosen A vice from SW, the yoruba guys will say, either ways we gain. So the votes will split.

Not when they have APC sitting governors. PDP stands no chance. APC governors will want to deliver their states. So, expect anything. This is Nigerians Politics.

Pick Peter Obi and loose South West. Pick a Vice from Southwest and split that region. Renegotiate with South East and promise them Senate President or Secretary to government of the federation and some Juicy Positions. Then when you come back for your second term [That's if at all he wins this time] get an igbo person as Vice. With that, you have split South west and gotten hold of south East and a good fraction of North East, North Central and a good number of votes from South south. But without that, Buhari gets Southwest 100% back because Yorubas CAN'T vote out their son Osinbajo. Yorubas are not stupid. They won't join themselves to something that won't favour them. Remember the Jonathan treatment? You can't play the Yorubas. Their interest first. And you can't tell me Non-indigenes are higher than indigenes. So, Buhari captures Northwest 100%, captures Northeast 70% NorthCentral 50%. South south 40% (Edo will bring block vote, split will come from Akwa Ibom, Delta and Rivers) and South East 5%. Remember, Southwest and Northwest brings in the highest votes. Lagos, Ogun/Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto. In Nigerian National politics, to win, get block votes from 2 regions, 50%-70% from another and then the little from split. So i see Buhari still wins.

Yeah, I've not learnt politics well enough. But trust me, you don't understand Nigerian politics up till now. The moment you said Non-indigenes, i understood your lack of depth knowledge of Nigerian politics. the votes of Non-indigenes can never be higher than indigenes, not even quarter up to.

Bornu, Bauchi, Gombe, from north East will give Buhari, he will lose Taraba. Go outside internet, make ground research you'll understand better.

The Yoruba's from SW no Matter what, have the highest population compared to Non-indigenes residing within their zone, they will give block votes for their son Osinbanjo, so APC wins SW. Or is it Obasanjo that couldn't even win his constituency during the re-election of Jonathan while Obasanjo was still a card carrying member. Is it now you expect him to deliver Ogun or Abeokuta to Atiku? NEVER!

Katsina, Kaduna, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kano and Zamfara are core APC states. it will be a tough one for Atiku. And remember the core Northerners loyalty to "Sai Baba". Atiku is not well known among the masses there. Kwankwaso is far much known than Atiku.

In North Central, Atiku may Not even Win Benue where i reside currently because Benue is an APC state and for the fact that the current Governor decamped to PDP has worsen it, because nobody likes Ortom here and for him joining PDP, it is a NO NO for PDP here. Nassarawa will not vote Atiku, Kogi won't give Atiku complete votes, Abuja won't give him complete votes.

In South-South, Edo state will give Buhari block votes, Rivers will split, Akwa ibom will split, Delta will split. PDP can't get complete votes from there. They may win but not with a large Margin.

South East will definitely give him the Votes. But he can't win with South east alone.

That's how you break it down. You check State by State.. Only Kwankwaso would have dealt with Buhari in the north. Because he is much known the same way Buhari is known. But Atiku can't do him anything. So, Mr Learned Politician, Who has a more difficult situation to deal with? I don't argue politics because i come from a Zone. Buhari failed but do we have a choice? Atiku will spend Billions but... Winning? it may be difficult.

Tinubu controls the Southwest and so nothing for Atiku in South West, Atiku can't win North West because that is Buhari's strong zone, Northeast will split, North Central will split, South South May split. Atiku has a long way. I still see Buhari Winning his election.

Benue people hate him to no end. No single project since he became governor, salaries of more than how many months are owed. After bailout twice, Paris fund, allocations, e.t.c nothing has been done. When they questioned him and told him that he won't have a return ticket if he doesn't answer to those questions, he said they gave him red card. The hatred Benue people have for him is unexplainable.

say what you know. Nobody in Benue like him. Non payment of salary and using the killings as an ATM to make money while people are hungry. We Benue people hate him in totality. The earlier APC refuse his automatic return ticket, the better for him. Except Elections are rigged, he has no vote. They told him, if you want a return ticket, pay salaries upto date, that is where the problem is coming from simply because he can't pay. He should park well please.

i am from Benue and No body likes Ortom here. It is a fact. Aside the anti grazing law, what else has he to offer? Benue people commend him for that but he is not loved by anybody hereand no body is ready to vote him to powet again. NEVER!!
