Elmuaz:bros, there's a difference between Hausa and Muslim o. One is a tribe and the other is a religion. however not disputing much, you mentioned just two which CLEARLY AM NOT AWARE of. But, Do you know the number of wards within Makurdi metropolis? those places you mentioned are the main and only settlements they are residing. Wadata alone has how many wards within it? mind you Ankpa ward cuts into Wadata as well, North Bank ward 2, maybe it's of recent. Even at that,it just two out of the numerous wards which is still insignificant to give them minorities. |
Okoyiboz3:God Forbid!! We are where we are. We CANNOT be Biafra. |
Kyase:hahahaha.. I no call person name o. |
welcome to the food basket of the nation. Our soil is dark and NOT RED, NO EROSION, our waters are fresh not salty and also not contaminated with oil, we are the largest producers of yams in Nigeria, cassava e der, more than enough fruits(oranges, mangoes, e.t.c), very peaceful set of people (all shame to those herdmen trying to disturb the villagers/farmers, we've finally banned open grazing in Benue and it is been implemented with full force), a fertilizer blending plant, yam flour processing factories (privately owned), Plenty rice [Miva Rice, Ashi Rice, e.t.c(makers of high quality rice)], we are also the highest producers of millet, corn, sesame seeds, soy beans (we also have a lot of Soy oil processing factories here), garri na our own too, the list is endless, I can go on and on. But if you doubt any of those things you think I mentioned that we produce, then ask those guys from the east and south south. Natural resources is a story for another day. limestone we get (there are even three Cement factories in Benue, Dangote Cement factory, Mbayon Cement factory, Igumale Cement factory) , zinc we get, Iron Ore we get, Crude oil sef them say e der, Clay for ceramics sef e der, e.t.c make we live this talk for another day since we are talking agriculture and food today. For those who get confused, we from Benue State are NOT Hausa/Fulani. They don't even make up the minority in the state. You can't as well find any ward concillor who is elected an Hausa/Fulani man. NEVER! So welcome Mr president and The executive governor, who are both coming to have a clue on how this is done. Needless to say, the wheelbarrows were for farmers and not youth empowerment. welcome to Benue The Food Basket Of The Nation. quote me when you want to say something responsible and reasonable. |
Tolerate each other? well, it gets to point whereby you push a goat too much that it turns around and bite. A certain ethnic group/Tribe in Nigeria go about insulting people and calling people unprintable names and I think a particular ethnic group is now tired of their insults. Warn the trouble makers to stop looking for trouble. |
We from the middle belt are the spectators. |
Very Very Frustrating. It made me lost something only time will take to heal the pains. And again it looks like GLO works with locations, it's not every where it works good. If I had known that early, I would have prevented the loss. Very frustrating. |

As against a topic i read this morning on nairaland https://www.nairaland.com/3828446/thug-sent-attack-politician-gboko/1#57009973 i read this morning a media report how thugs were sent to attack a "Top Politician" in Gboko local government of Benue named Ukan Kurugh. I would like to therefore correct certain fact as claimed by the so called media and it's report. 1. The incident which occurred and the picture taken, went viral for few days in Benue and this happened about a week ago in a yet to be known environment, which most definitely may not be in Benue state. As no one in Gboko has come out to say where and when Ukan Kurugh was beaten. 2. Contrary to what has been said here, there is a twist in the reporting which further makes it false. When the News came out first in Benue (cyber space), it was claimed that Ukan Kurugh was beaten by thugs with that picture used in the claiming that was Ukan Kurugh sitting on the floor, of which he's not. 3. Ukan Kurugh who they mentioned is NEVER a politician talk more of being a "Top Politician" as they claim but a Humanitarian worker, helping the less Privilege. If you read previously a story on Nairaland where a lady gave birth to triplets but wasn't able to go home due to huge medical bills incurred, the story was brought up by Ukan Kurugh. 4. As at the time of the report, Ukam Kurugh was in Makurdi the state capital where he resides with us and was never in Gboko as they claim. 5. For what ever reason, this story is repeating itself and who ever is spreading it and whatever he/she is trying to achieve out of it, i feel it will portray a bad image of this very young gentleman who has decided to help his community and society at large through his humanitarian services, as most persons will begin to relate his services as political and not from a pure heart. 6. As a humble appeal to the media, please always investigate your stories before publishing. 7. Benue people are loving, caring and peaceful people and above all, we are NOT wheel barrow pushers. Thanks and God bless you all. benuejosh photos of Ukan Kurugh.

stay home, they say NO. they feel it's better going out to develop other countries. Yet in those countries they are subjected to the worst kind of humane treatment. They are people here who are making it even in Nigeria. Just imagine, they got visas and bought ticket to go to jail in. a foreign land. I pray the light shine on them and they are released. |
dead on arrival. |
the game of accusation has shifted to other African countries from Nigeria. When they know they can't perform, they blame others for their failures |
