Hampy:I guess you did not get the gist....are you in Germany ? I am sure if you are here, you will understand what the guy is saying....You just call 4am in Germany like that...laughing in Swahili....my God will bring you down here if you re not here already and if you re here already God will continue to make a way for you. |
hadassaheke:Pre-University certificate simply means last certificate obtain before gaining admission into university e.g Secondary certificate, diploma certificate.. Regards. |
Obiwannn:Este, ist es Deutsch sprache nicht Deutsche ![]() I will switch back to English because this Nigerians platform, as you can see now that most of our expectations before coming to Germany is not even 80% of what we expect, some programs are sweet on the webpage, but starting the program you will notice it is rubbish....more also I am equipping myself more....you can add me on whatsapp...i know some great guys in Hamburg |
ohakskid:I am sorry I made a mistake typing the number it is +4915203991972.... accept my apology! |
Before I hit the street, I had a strong feeling I should drop something here for my brothers and sisters here. there is no new thing to add here all questions have been delt with by Gurus but I would like to stress the language issues....atleast God has helped us thus far 3 years is no joke in foreign land PLEASE specially for team winter 2016... go register for language class be it Goethe or private lessons, online lesson or self teaching is not enough to learn Deutsch....let me share a joke: A friend of mine(Nigerian) bought a soap at Penny, he's been using the soap for a long time not until we were in the same room at a conference I saw the soap in th bathroom...I first thought it was the hotel that provides the soap but I was wondering why should hotel provide two hand soaps, I then asked him who has the second soap it was for him, he was even praising the manufacturer that I could see his skin had changed, immediately I told him he had been using "handseife" not "Dusche".....in a not shell it is important to learn the language. I would like to advise those who just entered Deutschland and for those coming in for summer semester.....I know most of your expectations were or yet to be met (the sucking of block account, the jobs......) but I have a good news for you it would still come I can assure that let your feet stand very well and understand the system ( be careful with the heater in your room for now and signing of contracts) do not listen to those bros who will be boosting of 20 years in Deutschland, you are not the same, they came in through Asylum they do not have idea of German education system....I will beg you join our facebook group (Nigerian Scholars in Germany) some great guys are there, they are willing to help you in difficulties...lastly you might face racism or stereotyping in school, class or shops, please do not jump into conclusion that "germans are racist" racism and stereotyping is everywhere even in Nigeria, for example people tell you he's an igbo, he's yoruba, hausas are illiterate.....and so on, treat racism and stereotyping as individual case.... For the team winter 2016, take your time to read threads from page 1-till the end as it would really help you, I want to prophesy into someone's life....You have been seeing good news here and you been asking God when is mine coming, the Lord that brought me here without no block account or sponsorship or scholarship, He's still alive, He would do it! Don't be depressed but press forward, hold on hope and faith....and when God has done it please do not cover the glory of God, share the good news here as it would encourage others. Lastly I want to thank every one who has contributed in this thread, Eke40seven(took me time to decode d nam ) hope to see you in Munchen when I come around, Oye50 I tualle sir, My friend Nevillebolt(awon ti Frankfurt, money city), Crowns2, hollaytan, Kciano...I hope to seee you in Magdeburg in January.Merry Christmas! Fröhliche Weihnachten! Peace out! |
ohakskid:Bros we are pushing it....you can only add me on whatsapp +491520399172, I am not currently in Germany |
willy2000:Willy2000 werre you there with him all na visits of course if you are going to Hamburg from West and South you must pass through the cities in Niedersachsen....I have visited Essen, Duisburg, Köln, Dortmund, Bonn but my final destination was Düsseldorf .... Herr Eke ich bin bei dir |
Pascalbaba:Quickly mail the coordinator of the course....I had the same issue when I applied for my second masters, I mailed the admission office of my school and they requested for my papers....I will recommend you do the same thing...hopefully it should work. |
Richjke:Herzlich Willkommen in Deutschland |
striker9:I have delt with this question before check 246-260, you can search for replies |
dprinz99:I don't know how the exam would be like now but on August 16th, 2012 everyone that came for interview was tested....for us going for M.Eng or related courses 1) Calculate the volume of the object 3m high,3m length and and 3m width 2) Question about BODMAS 2)state ohm's law 3) what is the unit of voltage 4) state the 3 fundamental subjects in Engineering of course no calculate ![]() that's all I can remember, I remembered the mathematics was three questions also...goodluck! |
chulo:Hmmmm, first do not be depressed I understand you bro only people who had be in your shoes would understand, exactly my case, more reason why I came back to NL, This happened to me in 2012, I first gave up because I didn't funded on my account but on the day of my interview I decided to go for the interview...long story...... but at the end I got the visa without the block account or sponsorship, it might sound impossible ... with God all things are possible, God can still work things out....my advice for you is to be prayerful and email the embassy for their decision but if I may ask what semester if it is winter semester....hmmmm it might not be possible as people are preparing for exams now....Thanks and I hope I can help further. |
Shirbrown:Yes You can but make sure you put the required scratch and if you have waec also please include that also |
Shirbrown:Yes, NECO is accepted! |
Richjke:Thanks to almighty God who has given us the strength. |
ttryan237:what type of visa do you apply for language or normal study visa.....things can still change but the chances of rejection is 98%...but do not be heartbroken you can file for appeal depending on the reason of rejection....God can change the decision to your favour! |
lakesidepapa:its a good course....in fact a lot of companies in that line are in Bremen and Hamburg, as you know German economy relies on exporting and learning german would also be plus for you. viel spaß |
femo86:Mr. Femo then I would advice you work on your German language. |
Mrford:yes...probably |
ohakskid:Amen and thanks for the prayer, email me at benycent@yahoo.com |
Mrford:yes it is possible...first you need to be a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE) and Council Regulations of Engineers in Nigeria(COREN) but I guess you know before you can be registered member of (COREN) you must have 5 years working experience in an engineering company, after that you can send your certificates to ANABIN in Germany for recognition, lastly apply for visa at the German consulate in Lagos...the visa is just 6 months visa for you to look for job but you must show you can afford your living expenses, notes you can not work with that visa and after securing a job related to your field, come back to Nigeria for the Normal working visa. |
sonyville:sonyville...I didnt see your mail...u can email me on benycent@yahoo.com |
Fele1:Fele1....I am so happy to be back, most especially seeing a lot of advises and experiences from people, God will crown our efforts...eyes don see oooo too much to share but as time goes on, I would be sharing my experiences in Germany (Land of Ideas) but I would like to say something here PLS if you have the revelation that you will be in Germany, hold on to that revelation...it will surely come to pass!....do not be scared about your blocked account or the interview, Foreign office in Germany makes 70-80% of the decision, so relax and enjoy the interview. |
ohakskid:Ohaskid....that's true my brother,I would like to point out what I have seen so far in Germany....yes there are jobs I won't deceive you but would you like to study and end up in a factory( God forbids) so I would advice people coming in new if you wanna study in Germany, choose courses like Medicine,Engineering,IT and Nursing, any courses related in that field the chances of getting a job is high (I am not saying you can not get a job in other fields, but chances are very slim),Secondly I decided to go for another masters because my first masters program is not what I thought it would be like, it was sweet on the website but getting to Germany it was below my expectations...a lot of things I would share more reason I came back to Nairaland. |
sonyville:It's been long here,I find it so difficult to use nairaland again since I have left Nigeria since 3years ago....I have been in Germany for almost 3years, I currently doing my second masters in Hochschule in Magdeburg....I have been there once but currently I am in Spain....if you need anything I can be of help....I feel it is time to give back to my people. I remember that day I got the email from embassy on August 30th,2012 it was nairaland blogs that made me understand the message.Herzliche Willkommen in Deutschland!!. Bienvenido a Alemania!! |
