THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING IN US,UK AND EUROPEAN COUNTRIES!

Is it the same Police that is poorly paid and very poorly maintained that will be carrying body cameras? The same officers that "buy their uniforms and other kits themselves"?

I don't hate IGP Egbetokun because I have no personal dealings with him. What I hate is his inefficiency and how the Police have become more useless under his watch.
Our Police now wake up, get dressed, carry their arms and then go stand at road blocks to check vehicle papers and extort money, that's all!

The Police under Egbetokun is a complete Fiasco! A total failure. They said he has a PHD, is it honorary? Cos he hasn't demonstrated any capacity to even deserve a honorary degree, moreso an academic...

It's painful and quite discouraging but you just have to get over it, a little appreciation can go a long way in the journey of kindness. But you just have to move on and not commit it to heart.
Definitely, somebody like that doesn't deserve such a gift anymore. That's why I always show gratitude infact, over- gratitude for whatever is given or done for me.
Cos I always believe no one owes me anything. Not offended when not given and feel surprised (and appreciative) when given.

This is the height of it. Imaginehow the US described Nigeria problems as it is here perfectly well. These poor & hungry boys (though lazy and thieves) are easy to arrest and stack up like a pack of cards, but when it's people like Yahaya Bello and Co, everyone turns a blind eye.

Life is in phases. Whatever phase you find yourself, if you are happy with it, good! And if not, do something about it.

Has anyone seen the case posted by VDM where a Police (station) in Kwara State allegedly killed and organ-harvested a debtor that was arrested over N220,000 debt. Which his family brought the funds and they refused to collect, only to later carry out this evil overnight and everything went down within 12hrs.

I know it is very hard now to get a new apartment. It is very very expensive. However, in this situation where the house has been sold and acquired by a new owner.
I feel there is no need for fight, they should just give you enough time to get another affordable accommodation. It is time you should be fighting for. Besides, you are a yearly tenant, what the law says is that you should be served 6months notice and not 3months.
Lastly, you can also get a Lawyer around you, if they become impatient with you. Get a Lawyer to serve them, the Lawyer won't charge upto 30K for that (15,000-25,000).

-Contracts are being awarded by selection without public bidding or any form of transparency
-Projects funding are done without accountability
So where is the transparency?

It is because when nothing is done to those who commit crime, other may not hesitate to do such.
If those caught in one chance acts had been brutally executed immediately by mob, others would know what fate befalls them when they get caught. But where nothing is done or you hand them over to the Police, this will continue.
It is not just in Abuja, it's all over Lagos too. Young women in particular should be extremely careful and men too can be victims.
