Social Media is mostly garbage. Only a few still try to make sense out of it by doing meaning things. Most contents and posts are either comedy, sexuality or complete rubbish but unfortunately, e dey sell like pure water.
This Jarvis dey do human robot mimicks and she dey trend. I know of females that teach mathematics on TikTok but e no dey trend i.e. Joyful Joy and others but nothing dey sub for them, unlike these ones wey dey shake bum bum and breasts but with hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of likes and interactions.

I believe your intensity to get a house made them treat you as such. You don't approach Agents (or Nigerians) with desperation written all over your face. When you do, their intention will automatically switch from rendering a service to ripping you off. To them, dem don see opportunity to chop this one.

The way we behave for this country they always make me vex. Me I don't wonder why Nigeria is bad because I know why but what I don't like is how Nigerians will try to pin it on someone's head somewhere while exonerating themselves of any wrong doing.
Na Nigerians go carry dirts from their house go throway for road or inside gutter.
Even you wey be Keke rider sef, you follow for the misbehaviour wey dey happen daily for this country. Keke Driver wey fit cause accident because of one passenger wey him wan carry/drop. Them no get Bus Stop, they stop at any point, they don't care about others or even their own safety sef.
I know the pepper wey una dey show car drivers for road but now you dey complain of agents. Shey you no think say the madness na general madness?
For this country to get better, we will all have to do better. It's very simple! With the way we all currently behave, Nigeria will keep going down and things will continue to get worse.
I just read now, that retired Army Generals are responsible for the ILLEGAL MINING going on in the country. Can you imagine that? And I want to believe that the ones still in service too go dey involved.
I know of a woman who is just a wife to an Army Officer who is not even a General. If you see the kind of lush edifice (eatery, event center, pharmacy etc) this woman built with like 4 to 5 gigantic buildings inside the premises, you will wonder if she was into hard drugs business or any other crime. Na now I know one of the sources of income for them

I got my first employment in the North in 2009. I moved back there to Jos from Lagos and I worked there for about 3years amidst the insecurities and bomb blasts back to Lag.

Your time is now. You just need to take a step outside. Connect with everyone you know, including those that will not help you, but still reach out to them. Approach people you don't know too, when I say people, I mean people working in places you are looking at working.
Don't stay in the house and keep hoping for your time to come. E fit long o... To make it quicker be outside, even if you are not getting result, still be outdoor doing/looking for something meaningful. Approach people, na people dey help people. Nobody fit make am alone. We all need each other.

My only disappointment is nothing will come out of Lagos State government's investigations. Like up to 10 that has happened in the past, none was concluded. They just wait for everything to die down and everyone moves on like nothing happened.

I was nearly hit by a van just because of one JBL loud earpiece like that and my carelessness, the Bass was so good that I wasn't attentive to what's going on around me, The van was on reverse and it was Late at Night, Though Street lights were on, it was just few kilometers near me before something told me to turn back. That was my saving grace that time. Ever since then I stopped blocking my ears with earpiece or any of it kinds. If I want to make use of earpiece I would plug in one ear and leave the other open, in case of emergency.

Few kilometers is not close at all, it must have been few meters.

My brother, the 7m can still take you abroad, infact, about 5m or less can take you to the middle east if you don't mind. To countries like UAE, Saudi, Qatar but na menial jobs like cleaning, bike delivery etc you go take survive, if you not get special skills.

Sanusi is one of our best brains in this country. He is exceptional. He has been the one shouting this economic mismanagement by the Governments all along. He was the one that accused the same NNPC of never submitting any audited accounts for all their transactions for years. He was the one who raised alarm about how 25% of of Nigeria's earning is being used to service just the National Assembly. We know all these allegations led to his removal as CBN Governor and not that he was against Jonathan.

They should make it clear from now that are ONLY monitoring their own (NNPC LIMITED) production and not that of the whole country.

NNPC Limited should be transparent and report things as it is. They confuse the Nigerian public and creating the wrong impression that they are a Government Regulatory Agency. They are not! THEY ARE NOT THE REGULATORS OF THE INDUSTRY AND THEY WILL NEVER BE. They are not even the ones that determine the pump price of petroleum in a regulated market. National Production Volumes are monitored by the NUPRC (Formerly DPR).

I laud their efforts though as it is very commendable. Hopefully, it yields proper crude oil production accounting and economics.

If you look at it carefully, you will see that they are still the regulators of the petroleum industry in Nigeria. Whoever controls crude oil production, sales, distribution will control virtually every other thing.
There problem has always been lack of transparency. For years they refused to produce audited report of their activities, even while Sanusi kept shouting about it and recently that they were audited, there has been a missing/misappropriation of over 500Billion naira from 2021-2024. Which no one has been able to provide any answers to.
