missunknown: I just applied, failed the first test then had a go again and got the second one. Stuck on the rules and video parts. How did you all get to understand all the do's and don'ts at first glance or you just went ahead to transcribing. Thanks You do not get everything once. You make mistakes and learn from it. Also, you'll be required to ask questions on Slack and always consult the FAQ whenever you transcribe. Please, note that you'll be required to start with 1/2 A. M. as much as possible. |

Politics › Re: Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi: Seyi Makinde Can Never Come Close To Ajimobi by berbs: 8:35pm On Jul 01, 2020 |
TripleOh7: The reason it looks like Ganduje has performed more than most governor is because of the physical projects he is carrying out in the state and it has been discovered that the kickbacks he and most state governors collect from projects as well as the overinflation of the project cost is mainly the motivating factor.
There's no real policy making that has affected positively the standard of living of the average citizen in that state.
He's as much a failure as his counterparts in other states.
Ajimobi actually was above average in his first term. I was in Ibadan during that time and can testify.
Seyi Makinde is just a year into his tenure, slowed down by Covid-19. But nonetheless, there's hope for him ONLY if he can surround himself with professionals and not politicians, technocrats and not sycophants.
It's his call. Well, let me clarify things here. The OYO state Government is still clearing debts and clearing backlog of Pension and Gratuity of OYO state Government. How can you work for 30 years and still be owed your gratuity after you've retired for over 10 years. Is that proper? If they protest peacefully during Ajimobi's period he'll tell them to go and die. Some died as a result of non-assessibility of funds for their drugs, lots of them lived in penury. Well, at least the new person on board is juggling between improving welfare of the civil servants in the state, creation of new jobs, infrastructural development and others. I do hope he doesn't become Audio Gomina eventually. Wish him all the best. |

swtdrms: The societies who do not leave everything to God are all prospering while we are here giving all the work to God to do are here wallowing in misfortune and misery. What else can i say? "May God help us" As much as they say Africans are industrious and blah blah blah. It's all lies, we are so lazy. If we had a system where welfare works. Lots of people will be at home and will not work even if work is in abundance. It's so annoying. |
Travel › Re: COVID-19: No Entry For Nigerians, Americans Into Europe by berbs: 9:46am On Jun 29, 2020 |
swtdrms: Even if there wasn't any serious ban, Nigeria would definitely be banned.
No one understands Nigeria, not even the administrators in Nigeria understand the clear situation if things. So the correct things to do is to ban Nigeria.
We run a system of mediocrity, carelessness and indifference. We don't have internal working mechamism, everything we do is "May God help us". Common interstate lockdown we couldn't implement. Our gov't don't have a hold and control over its own Police force. So what do you expect. That quote pisses me off these days. It's a sign of irresponsibility. Very annoying. "God will help us". As if God will come down from heaven or he didn't give us brain to think. |
