While I have admitted Buhari is a failure, you are yet to do so. 2015 was six years ago. I have moved on. seunmsg: We campaigned for Buhari together in 2015 so you’re not in any position to talk shiit. |
Politics › Re: Northern Traders Call-Off Strike, Say FG Agreed To Pay N4.75bn Compensation by Beremx(f): 8:22pm On Mar 03, 2021 |
seunmsg: N4.75bn for what exactly? This is how government goes about enabling nonsense. Kidnapping student for ransom started like a joke and now it’s a very big monster and an unending sinkhole for government funds.
So many militia groups who ordinarily should face the full wrath of the law are now either enjoying amnesty or demanding amnesty.
Some idiots have started with food blockade now and we are now appealing to them with billions of Naira. What message are we sending to people in other regions? Is this how we will be throwing billions away anytime folks in other regions start their own blockade? It is well with Nigeria. cry me a river. You should commend Buhari please. He is the best |

nedekid: See, they are all over Lagos, every corner. 90% if okada riders in Lagos are them them. Come to akowonjo roundabout and see hundreds of them sleeping on the roadside overnight or hanging around in the day time. I wonder where they bath or deficate. Security wise, they are not traceable. They can cause havoc and disappear into thin air. See, all these people are waiting for is an order or signal and if they want to take over Lagos or any SW, SS, SE state it is just a snap of fingers. Do you know if they have storage of weapons somewhere? the ones you are talking about are not herdsmen. Herdsmen don’t live in towns. They don’t do commercial okada business. |

namedo: Tomatoes, pepper and onions can be cultivated in the South but the truth is that our Southern youths prefer to leave the villages to the cities in search of the elusive, 'White-colar-jobs'.
This is the time to go Agrarian and back to the land.
It's 'Operation feed the nation'. The Fulani herdsmen are threat to our Agrarian community. How do we solve the menace first? |
Politics › Re: Situation Report About Foods From The North. by Beremx(f): 1:19pm On Feb 28, 2021 |
Most of the tomatoes sellers in Lagos are northerners. The one selling in my street has packed up and traveled this morning to his state. The tomatoes I bought this morning, I had to add tomato purée to make my stew bigger.
I dunno how long this would last but something has to be done about it. |

Yes. A northerner who sells tomatoes and pepper beside my street couldn’t buy the usual basket of tomatoes to sell because of the hike in price. He resorted to buying half basket to sell. I am sure his tomatoes will be expensive when I buy from him today. Enn214: Did you notice any scarcity or hike in price?? |

Please, have you been experiencing slowness or inability to access Nairaland recently?
If so, at what time did you experience such and what network and browser were you using when it was slow?
How is it now? Has the slowness stopped? yes I did o! Precisely yesterday afternoon/evening. It was annoying as i kept changing from 3G to LTE. I thought it a general issue with the network not until I browsed other social apps. It’s fair this morning anyway. MTN/ Chrome |
