PoliticsRe: Close Revenue Accounts With Banks – FG Orders Mdas by betterabia: 11:56am On Jan 09, 2015
Adminisher:
This is going to knock out a number of banks. To be honest with you I don't like the new CBN governor. He lacks foresight and is very parochial. What Nigeria should be doing is targeting diaspora transfers that can be in excess of $45billion a year through special instruments. Our human resources abroad make more foreign exchange than oil and gas makes for us locality and also many things are possible if only the man were really bright instead of bringing ideas like stealing N65 from cross ATM transactions.
i heard indians and chinese working in nigeria pay their taxes in india and china

APC FALSEHOOD WILL NEVER GET YOU THE VICTORY YOU DESPERATELY SEEK.
I never knew that I am so so important in deciding the out come of the presidential election.
The APC falsehood machine is making me the most important stakeholder in the 2015 elections....I am really enjoying my new status,
1,they claim I said President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan will not win in 2015.
2,they claim I said thief Buhari will do better for Niger Delta than Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan .
3, they said I was arrested in South Africa.
4,they claim I said I will over run the south-west.
5, they claim that I said Thief Buhari is a kunu drinker.
Why all these lies?
I have no problem with the Yorubas...the closest people to me are Yoruba people...I worship with them in the same mosque....I have their daughter in my house.
They never said they are born to rule me....collectively most of them are working hard to make sure Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is president....don't mind all these noisemakers on facebook .
I always stand by whatever I do or say....I am not a man who denies my actions...Thief Buhari is worst than a kunu drinker...He is Ali Baba the King of thieves....he sends his gang of thieves to ravage our common patrimony to promote and support him for his unrealizable election dreams...while pretending to be a saint....He is an hypocrite and a munafiq,,,,he is so so desperate to get into power that he is even ready and willing to sell his soul to the evil

Good question.

And the answer is....oil brings rapid return.

Industries on the other hand take time to see returns
China has the highest foreign reserve because they manufacture for the world.
Nigeria can learn from them
BusinessRe: Nigeria Struggles to Sell Oil Cargoes, Offers Discounts to Asian Buyers by betterabia: 2:23pm On Dec 31, 2014
bushdoc9919:
Don't make me laugh.

Yes Saudi is behind this...because America's domestic oil produciton is increasing...so much so that there is a glut in the market...keeping oil prices down. The Saudis are worsening the glut (by increasing OPEC production quotas)....so that the American oil producers go out of business....and the Saudis can rule supreme again as America's cheif oil supplier (and remeber....the Saudis too are suffering as well).

Plus....there are a lot of countries now producing oil that were not doing so three decades ago. Add ISIS in Iraq selling oil at rock bottom prices....and you have the reason why prices are low.

Nothing to do with Saudi hate for Jonathan.

That is why Nigeria must get off oil We cannot rely on oil any more. Best to follow South Korea and Japan and industrialse.
instead of waiting for the economy to be destroyed by the current oil price fall, why can't the govt move away from oil and give attention to another thing.

is it true that with =N=15,000, someone can get married traditionally in yoruba land?

if true i can't imagine the difference... a friend that just married from Mbaise in Imo state told me he spent over =N=400,000 on traditional marriage.

soon lots of igbo guys would be getting married to yoruba and housa girls. and the igbo girls will have nobody to marry them.

leki10:

All you blabbing ur spits at fayose nd u ar nt staying in ekiti, jst shut ur shit 4 a moment. Apc govt left 2 months salary of teachers nd 1mont salary of other workers unpaid. Fayose has always paid b4 d 28th of d month since october. Dat APC spokeman is jst high on some cheap beer. As of dis moment, Fayose has paid workers as far as i know (including xmas bonus)... I kno pple who av received. SO FAYOSE HAS PAID SALARY OOO
because its apc that left the salary, it will never get paid?

does the worker work for apc or pdp?

are the workers working for fayemi or fayoshe? is it not for the government they work for? so, whoever is in government should pay they workers. infact the governors should be the last to receive their salary after paying the least worker.
PoliticsRe: APC To Fayose: You’re Insensitive Not Paying Ekiti Workers For Yuletide by betterabia: 8:58pm On Dec 25, 2014
let the revolution begin.

this will get worse and worse unless someone speaks up or an action that affects these governors are taken.

these governors are insensitive to the core.
RomanceHusband Scarcity! by betterabia(op): 7:42pm On Dec 25, 2014
This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the prayers are for life partner. And this calls for concern.

Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "HUSBAND SCARCITY" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into an already built home. Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future.

What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "HUSBAND SCARCITY" for ourselves. Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average pretty girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house atleast, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem.

You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man."What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in themarriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small.

God bless you!

RomanceRe: Who Says Women Are Not Attracted By What They See? by betterabia: 10:32pm On Dec 24, 2014
LaurelP:
I've often heard people say that women are not attracted by what they see. They are according to them, attracted by sweet and romantic words. This is a consensus held by mostly women and some men.

I beg to disagree with this opinion. Women are equally attracted by sight just like men. They however do not react or show it the way men do. If women are not attracted by sight:

Why do they prefer and even crave for handsome men/guys over the average or ugly ones? This happens even here on NL, the handsome guys getting more attention from ladies.

Why do they like or prefer guys who are trendy and follow latest styles in fashion over achaic guys?
this also happens here on Nl.

Why do they die for guys who are rich and drive nice cars, live in nice houses and have good jobs/businesses? Are these things not physical, are they spoken wordshuh

Why do they like or prefer confident guys over timid ones?
Is confidence not a physical attribute one can seehuh

Why do they like guys who are always clean and neat instead of dirty guys who are romantic?

Conclusion: There's nobody who doesn't like romantic words, both men and women.
There's also no one who doesn't get attracted to things that look good, both men and women.
So women are also attracted by what they see.
they r not as much sexually aroused by sight as men
