Onyema is a big fool for putting up this warp comeback defense, because I'm highly disappointed at him. There's no justification to hike up in threefolds when the other prevalent price determining factors have not varied. Higher demand than supply can never be enough to trigger such humongous hike by over 300% . It's just pure greed! You want to make the whole money you didn't make since January to November just in a couple of weeks. I blame the government for lack of price regulatory agencies in the country. Imagine this big fool with a lame defence.

An international flight I have been monitoring since August used to be about $1,800. Now its priced at over $6000.

Try to understand how these things work before crying or better still setup an airline and crash the prices. It's a free market

If you use that account to commit fraud and declared wanted by law enforcement agents, the bank and the account officer must be able to take the law enforcement agents to that address and if you are at large, they must confirm that you were resident in that address at the point of account opening/update

I don't specifically know how the ATM work but I assumed some things

1. The cash deposited in an ATM is fixed and recorded, for illustration say N100,000

2. The ATM being a teller keeps a ledger of all successful withdrawals. Therefore this teller machine is limited to dispensing 100,000.

3. If this ledger contains successful withdrawals of N102,000, it automatically means N2000 was not dispensed to someone or some people.

4. If the ATM has 100,000 in its ledger but the ATM still has 2000 cash in it, it still means the some one wasn't paid.

However, if the banker responsible for putting cash in the ATM is aware that the ATM registered successful debit of N2000 and didn't dispense it, if he pockets the N2000 while officially servicing the ATM, there is no record of the cash not being dispensed to the customer. The only proof is the CCTV footage which the Bank will never give the customer. As long as the ATM ledger and the cash left in the ATM balance, the bank will deny any claim of undispensed cash from the customer.

This is what is happening in this branch. It could be a possible intentional ATM sabotage.

It is not that easy to steal from customers at ATM and get away with it so most bank staff will not even harbour that thought unless they follow them from village. ATM keeps a thorough record of transactions in a journal. If a machine is good and functioning well, any dispense error will be captured on the journal regardless of whether cash counted or not. This can easily be confirmed from the journal and refunds made.

However, in the course of working with different ATM brands, I have seen malfunctions that can get an ATM confused as to whether cash was dispensed or not. A journal can capture something like 'Cash whereabouts unknown.'
There are also instances of partial dispense with will be difficult to reconcile (eg you requested for 10,000 but was only able to get 8,000 and the rest retracted by the machine.

When a claim is made for dispense error, journal records are checked. If transaction was recorded as unsuccessful and and there is a credit in the ATM ledger with a corresponding debit into customer's account, a reversal is initiated.

The surest way of establishing dispense errors is through regular (daily) reconciliation of the transactions. Banks are expected to do this daily and refund customers proactively. There is also a robust process for disputing and refunding failed transactions involving more than one bank (I wont go into details).

In your own case, when the machine started counting without stopping, the ATM custodian got a fault alert and went to check on the machine which is the right thing to do. The machine gave you back your card to allow the custodians attend to it and resolve the fault which is also the right thing (your card could also be trapped). Remember that for the machine to start counting in attempt to pay you, your account must have been debited with the corresponding entry passed to the ATM. This is supposed to be auto reversed in the event the machine is unable to dispense cash for whatever reason. However, auto-reversal sometimes fail to happen due to several possible technical issues. This where humans come in to settle these cases.

I advise you initiate another claim for dispense error, this time insist on footage if your claim is declined (it is your right). In the event the bank is unable to provide the footage (photo proof that cash was dispensed to you), they will have no choice than to refund you.

Someone started her business, hair styling to be specific (registered September 2019) and she went for NYSC by November 2019 and she’s finishing her NYSC by October this year, would it count as 2 years working experience while applying or they would regard it as 1 year experience. Also note that she has been running the hair styling 2 years (immediately after she got certified in 2016) before she got it registered last year. There are proofs of transactions regularly taking place in her business account since she registered last year.

They usually take 2-3 days to update but with covid-19 delays, nothing is certain. You can wait a few more days and then start calling them if it is updated by then. For now, you are well within the normal timeline

The name above are my Surname, first name and middle name while the name on credential is my Surname and first name. My certificate bears just my name and surname so I’m guessing that’s where the disparity stemed from. Please I hope this is no problem at all??

Middle name won't be an issue provided first and last names are in place. While filing your application, do you get and include a 'one and same person affidavit'. Also make a little note about it on your LOE

I assume you are still working. Evaluate your Masters, max IELTS and enter the pool. In one year time (or less), your work experience would have been 3 years which will fetch you 25 additional points but you will lose 5 points due to age. We will be looking at 476 by then which is good by today's standards.

If I were you though, I would also be learning French by the side as a plan B because experience has taught me that this journey is full of surprises!

Even if you were married, she cannot give you points under EE. However, you can go under spousal sponsorship.

With M.Sc, you do not need additional certificate. But simulate your points and if they are not enough you may need to look at other options eg French. BTW, how old are you?

B.Sc is not enough and at 33 you have already lost points to age. Good news is that you know French. However, your diploma won't do it for you. Prepare and tackle TEF or TCF and you have lots of points to grab. Depending on your TEF score, you may also require additional certificate on top.
Alternatively, are you married? Is your spouse younger and has more than B.Sc?
If yes, he/she could be the PA. If no (to the first question), you can consider falling in love with someone that meets the requirements.

You are good to get married post AOR. In fact it is highly recommended. Do note however that this could attract more scrutiny but as long as your case is a genuine one, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Congrats in advance

Good day everyone. Please I need help on this adoption thing. I started my daughter's adoption last year in Kaduna state. I was issued an adoption certificate last year after all the back and forth. Reached out to someone here that is now in Canada with their adopted daughter and she explained that the process is more complex as I still have to request the adoption file to be sent to Abuja for some other processes. I have been going to the ministry here in kaduna to pls send our file to Abuja so I can continue the process but they keep saying there's no need for that. Told them to just send it so I can fulfil all righteousness but they said they don't do that.
Pls, has anyone here done adoption in Kaduna state before? What was the process like? Can I go to Abuja and start the process all over again? This process has been holding me down since last year. Sending documents to Abuja sounds very awkward to me and I tend to believe that the Kaduna people are right with their claim. I am not an expert though.

My advice is you should independently seek legal counsel. You can also ask for the relevant laws and read it yourself to clear all doubts. Please do not drop the poor girl.

It will be counted as 2.9 years but you can complete it with your current job if it falls under NOC A,B or 0

WES will not move your completion date and you may not be able to add the credential at this time (no harm in trying though) but you will have to wait for the first report to be released then do an upgrade to add the 2nd credential, of course with payment.
