You can always add a credential to an ongoing evaluation at no extra cost. However, if the evaluation is complete or at the final stages (when they have received and verified all your documents), you will be required to pay about 50 percent of the initial cost to upgrade your evaluation to accommodate the new credential(s).

Your 2 Bachelors will give you points for 2 or more certificates which is good and could be enough (depending on your age). Masters will add additional 7 points.
If you devote 1 year to learning French (instead of masters), you stand a chance to earn up to a maximum of 54 additional points.

Simulate your points with each scenario and compare the outcome with recent cutoffs. Only then will you be able to make a more informed decision. For more info, refer to page 1

I am just talking generally, personally my stimulated CRS score is 472 minimum if my wife score 8777, and me scoring 6666. Which i know will be better.

she is below 30, she has 2 or more degree and me accompanying spouse i have a masters and Canada PR sibling.

You can see that i am still way below crs of 500 with alot of advantages on my side... Even if me and wifey both max out ielts, we still wont enter 500.

you are assuming most of the Indians getting ita are India based. Many are in Canada, Dubai, USA etc. Scores may not drop past 470s again. It's better to find ways to increase scores o. A friend got ita with 502 yesterday after she did french in February. People were saying it will drop back to 450s hasn't happened for over a year. People should do what they can to increase scores o. USA hopefuls and students are also shifting to Canada too

You are right. I remember in 2018 when the goal was simply to hit 440. Now, with 470 you have to even wait anxiously wishing that the next birthday never comes. The realistic thing to do is to increase scores by all means. This is what Indians are doing, not waiting

I need your help please. I got ITA yesterday and trying to get my ducks in a row. I posted a couple of weeks ago that my 9-month old PR application was refused because my reference letter did not match the NOC job duties and lead statement closely enough. I have since gotten another letter which I believe is a close match (of course without being 100% match to what they listed). With my first refusal, I am now paranoid and second-guessing everything.

Could somebody please be kind enough to help me take a look at my new reference letter and compare it to the NOC? I would really appreciate it.

Secondly, I would like to know if I can re-use the Nigerian police report I got last year. I have not been to Nigeria since I got the report so I expect it should still be valid. Tried looking for this info on IRCC but did not find it. Please point me in the right direction.

In the spirit of second guessing everything, I suggest you get a new one. Nigerian PCC is one of the easiest to get in the whole world. Remember the document itself has VALID FOR 6 MONTHS boldly written on it. You wouldn't want your new application to be thrown out at R10. I would err on the side of caution if I were you.

Then the job has to be part time.
You can't realistically combine full time work with full time study. It doesn't matter if it was possible in Nigeria; the VO most likely assess it from an ideal perspective

It does not matter. Just be sure to indicate your masters was part time and the job full time.

@Beuharry is actually right as that was the norm in some banks years ago. When I joined the bank almost 15 years ago, I started as a front teller, merchant teller, funds transfer and other roles as assigned by my supervisor within operations unit until I became a supervisor. Then, we never had contract staff as operations staff until around 2008/2009. So branches usually had a mix of contract/full staff in operations. Few years ago, these trend was phased out as only contract staff were doing the teller jobs while an executive trainee employed today becomes their supervisor.

Not necessarily. They take up either E-banking, Customer service, relationship management, treasury roles etc . Tellers are mostly OND or HND contract staff .

While I agree that various entries roles. new ETs that get deployed to branch operations from training schools in most of the banks are required to work as tellers and customer service reps, before they go on to become supervisors.

I'd like to make an enquiry (especially from finance professionals) on the best pathway to obtaining a CPA in Canada.
I currently hold an Acca Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1-F3). And 8 years banking experience in Nigeria.
Apart from continuing the ACCA papers and converting to CPA, are there other avenues to getting the CPA in Canada?
Also, are there schools where one can enroll towards the CPA or its self study just like ACCA.

ACCA members can convert to CPA. However, the current MRA between ACCA and CPA will expire April 2021 (it may or may not be renewed). Since you cannot complete your ACCA certification before this timeline, it is advisable to reconsider this decision.

You may wish to consider, which is in fact more flexible and also offer a path to CPA conversion through a mutual recognition agreement. Another option is to study and get certified for CPA after you land. This, however, could be more challenging considering that you will struggling to settle and earn a living at the same time.

You missed it at the point you mentioned EXECUTIVE TRAINEE ROLE. ETs are core staff and mostly take up roles in NOC B.

Have you seen any ET as Teller or customer service rep?

Executive trainees start as tellers and/or customer service reps in most banks, before they move on to supervisory roles.

If she taught in a school please go there and get a reference letter. Please forget NPOWER, just present it as a regular teaching job. See, in choosing NOC, what matters is the actual job/duties performed by the candidate, working hours and whether it was a paid job.
Having said that, take out time and go through page one thoroughly, then simulate points under different scenarios and make your decision. So many good advice have already been proferred. All the best

My concern now is that i might not really have enough time to thoroughly prepare for IETLS exam, so i don't want to keep wasting time and money. she has been preparing now for more than a month and i am hoping and confident that she would MAX out the exam at one sitting. so, what if she max out in the exam and we were able to get a reference letter backing other job role in the two years other than Teller. cos she worked in the Customer service and at a point as a Marketer in that same Branch of the bank. Can we still go ahead and make her the PA?.

My work experience is Teaching(3years)2014-2017 but i am not with education background, currently i work with a Travel company and January will make it 2 years with the Travel company.

So, my dillema is that i dont want to Gamble with IELTS as i can still vouch for her to do well in the Exam than me.

Do you want to hear the truth? You have to find time to prepare and pass for that IELTS o. Many people wish to have the opportunity you have now.
Your wife can be the PA but that her NOC could be problematic and you want to gamble a golden opportunity like this. Secondly, a 2 year experience even if it is deemed eligible will not get her the maximum points under adaptability. You stand a better chance as the PA

wife's work experience - 2years frontline internship in ACCESS Bank (work duties is majorly that of Teller and other Executive Trainee). she Works in almost all the Units in the Bank within the two years.
Principal Applicant - Wife will Definitely be the Principal Applicant

so My Question is this.
1. Can she use the 2years Work Experience for Express Entry. If yes, what will be the NOC?
2. for ECA, do WES considers the CGPA when evaluating Master or they Just Evaluate Master as Canada Equivalent of masters

You have a very solid profile. You are the PA, if you and your spouse can max IELTS and sort out your eca before your 32nd birthdat, you are guaranteed a CRS score of 489 (484 after the birthday). However, if both of you are only able to score 8.5, 8.5, 7.5. 7.5 in LRWS, you get 477 which can still get you ITA (hopefully).

My advise: Start immediately with ECA while you prepare for your IELTS

For example 0122(banking mgrs) was used in Manitoba EOI Submission b4 nomination and after nomination you want to change to 6235(fin sales Rep) in EE profile because your it aligns more with your reference letter.

Please don't try it. Your application will be rejected for NOC mismatch. However, you can combine NOCs. Make sure you use the one in your nomination certificate as primary NOC, then add other NOCs you may have as secondary NOC(s)
