I was expecting to see a Northern state immediately I saw the Topic. This is total slavery with the level of education in tat part of the world.

No one would tell you what you did wrong or right. If none of the judges picked you, go back and read your stories and figure out for yourselves what you did wrong.

Adhering to rules is one thing, writing a story with an awesome storyline is another. You guys are making it seem like the rules are all there is to being selected.

You guys should also bear in mind that the judges are only allowed to select 7 writers, hence, they can't pick everybody at once.

Henceforth, anybody who tries to sulk at the judges or make any derogatory statement about the selection process would be automatically disqualified!

Far be it. I only wrote that to know how I could improve. Iron sharpens Iron Bro. No offence intended. God bless u again

I'd like you to help in the process of choosing the panel of judges that would be kind enough to read through everyone's stories and pick the best.

I would like the panel of judges to comprise of 5 individuals. Me, taking a spot. And then, you're at liberty of taking a spot for yourself and picking out three remaining individuals who are willing to help with the judging process or just picking out 4 individuals besides yourself.

These individuals would receive airtime gifts from me at the end of the competition. Very small perhaps, but we can only hope for better times.
Sweetheart, what are the criteria the judges will be looking out for. Hope that Friday is gonna be visible due to the pace we are rolling.
At the end of the first stage, the nominees would emerge from points from all five judges.

Each judge can only choose 7 stories at a time.

If the judges choose stories that are in conflicting number, further deliberation would be made to take into points like level of Grammer and grammatical errors.

Atimes when I see people's comments, I wonder what this generation is heading to. A generation that the things of this world is more real to us than the things of God. God still speaks but men are not listening. God is a Spirit and it takes the spiritual to hear him.
Personally, I am what I am because of hearing His voice of direction. A notable one is how I was depressed, sucidal after i had a challenge in my final year at school.There was no hope nor Joy in my life for months and was at the verge of giving up on life.
Do you know what God used, a DOG: Infact a three legged dog.
It was a hot afternoon coming from a service with those thoughts on my mind with my heads hanging down when i spotted this dog. It has three legs with one chopped off and was playing Joyful with the sand with no worries in this world and I heard God speak to my spirit that no matter what it's not worth it giving up on life looking dejected. Here is a dog that has no value compared to me being and it been Joyful despite not knowing what to eat, has no future whatsover. The owner could decide to sell it anytime or it could get killed by a vehicle or anything.
That day marked the turning point i my life. Nothing in this world is worth taking your life for,nothing.

Lol.u won't understand. Going by the normal time table....by November the first set of selected applicants ought to have been selected and their first interviews slated. So its like its been disrupted somehow. Also, Obama who pioneered this program is going by 20tj of this month and trump takes over. Now a friend of mine who was chosen last year as a fellow told me that Obama told them to pray that Hilary wins cos if trump does chances are that he'll cancel it. Looks like that's what's happening. Besides what's the harm in putting faith in God? Isnt he the giver of all good things? Including this one??
