Henry240:I love it when one knows what he's saying. Thank you for the info |
This is a welcome development and i want to say a warm congratulations to all participants. In the next 5 years the sky will be our starting points. |
Chimdiebere:Far be it. Rather, be like God. Himself said it... 2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Far within you - your conscience don't you feel something isn't right about fornication? |
@OP..where did you get ur inspiration from? You just sat down and you thought it wise to string one or two things together out of your perverted mind? If you know what Marriage is you won't thought it wise to write this. In marriage you walk in faith not on what you thought would be or should be. If you remove faith, then where do you put God. If you have to test drive xex before marrying, then why not test drive financial challenges , health challenges , Happiness before you marry? If you no fit hold body till you marry, then don't lead others to trade your path |
myself and Op are in the same boat. Motivational speaking ,writing and poetry are my thing. I am learning from the advises too. Op can we connect? A tree makes no forest |
lemme take this timeout to say, Kebbi is not bad as portrayed. Boring? but that actually depends .mostly on you. The weather is actually hot now but I must tell you Harman tan is knocking at D door. missme23:200k not easy, can you get the idea off your mind to a paper?DAT is the best way to start |
Onuohasworld:forward your digits,let's talk |
someone calls it midlife crisis, all l will advice is to keep talking to her *please at this point don't stop supporting her,she needs you More than ever *from your writeup i could also deduce you are Christians-some of the attributes she kept displaying are not Christ like. Talk to her about that... Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,. Read the other chapters before this, you will find where her present behavior is placed. Peace ✌ |
Roland17:naso....relationship is d most unpredictable. you are also on point wit your points.@op where did you even put God in all these. He knows anyone more than Even ourselves,..let him solve this equation for you |
This may sound strange to you but do you know it takes more than love to marry someone? when misunderstanding, challenges comes and he becomes unlovable, can you stick it out with him. Relationships like this goes beyond emotions. what is that thing you see in him that can make you keep loving him even if he doesn't deserve your love... moreover, you said he is God fearing, its a good place to start from and by the reason of him inspiring you, that is a plus. Just let go of your fear. you were even willing to date guys not better than him so why not him. many of our blessings don't come in flashy advert screaming see me! see me.Talk to him, heart to heart. peace!!! |
sirs,i salute your resilience. Though it not easy to get to this stage as an entrepreneur, your ability to face and overcome any challenge is what should distinguish us from every other person out there. and I must say,you are source of encouragement to many out there that something good can still come out of failed system... I am a YOU WIN 4 prospect, and by God's grace my business opened a month ago. without funds it hasn't been easy. I want to encourage you all not to throw in the trowel. This is just a stage in your growth, it. will soon be over. God doesn't work in the midst of murmuring and complain. If you want him to show up speedily just appreciate him for that which you have received. God bless you all and keep the good work alive |
O boy! I don old o. I remember my mum flogging the hell outer me while reading that simbi book. How time flies |
Buko A slang term to mean ‘much’. I’ve earned buko cash this week. Diabulimia A disturbing new eating disorder in which people with Type 1 diabetes deliberately give themselves less insulin than they need, to help weight loss The Enviropig A genetically altered pig, or “Frankenswine,” as critics call it, that is better at digesting phosphorus in plants. Handsy The term to describe someone who’s getting a bit frisky and can’t keep their hands to themselves. Hyphy Pronounced hi-fi for those not in the know, it’s a term for uptempo hip-hop music originating in northern California and associated with a frenetic style of dancing. Koozie You know that thermal foam sleeve-thing you put round a can or a bottle to keep it cool, but never know what to call? Well, it turns out it’s called a koozie - although quite why, is unclear. On-trend Very fashionable, ie that coat is so on-trend. Sh*tshow The not very pleasant term used to describe an event or situation that is chaotic or controversial. Tenderpr- enuer A South African term for a person in government who abuses their power to get government tenders Photobomb Even the Queen has had a go at photobombing - when two athletes were taking a selfie at last year’s *//Commonwealth Games. But amazingly the term, which means to insert yourself into someone else’s photo, has only just bombed its way into the OED. *Auto-tune The device can be used to correct an out-of-tune vocal performance to save our poor ears. It’s safe to say it’s a welcome invention. *Coasteering Not for the faint-hearted or couch potatoes, this adventure sport involves scrambling rocks, jumping off cliffs and swimming in the sea. |
EmmyDe25:Broda... U dey reach here? Haha... It can't be him... |
mashnino:Yes! has someone said, starting small is very important. It gives you experience and stamina in running ur bizness. It is better to have stamina b4 u gain speed. You dont need all the equipment before u open shop. Keep your startup cost at minimal if not you will discover you have spent all your money and yet there are many more things to get. I started with 4 sets of beautiful dining chairs and tables and when I got them, I humorously said to myself that they wont be easy to sell or packup in case I want to run back to my state(The business is in the Northern part of the country). Get coolers to keep your food warm. I learnt this The hard way...microwave could come later. A small refrigerator is important too.it will keep you food from getting spoilt and your drinks would also get chilled. A television set is important. Even if its not flat screen, customers would appreciate not being bored while eating and again no one would remember if a great game was watched on a LCD or a tube. Mind you,i didn't get all these at once. I started with my chairs, borrowed my first sets of cooking pots, deep freezer and warmers. And did I mention it started at the NYSC camp? It was my little Beginning and training ground with so many competitors. About getting a location, these are important. You need divine direction. It is the most important thing and other things follows.. I chased after my location for almost a year but was not discouraged until I got it because I knew it was my place. The others are, parking space, a place close to ur target customers and let the location(shop) be spacious for people to move freely. You customers needs space. What type of service do you intend to offer? Be Unique. Dont be jack of all trade and master of Non. What specific menu do you want to offer. Dis all I can type for now. I will drop by later. I started with abt 200 thousand and it all went to capital equipment.. |
If starting up any business is no child 's play, then setting up restaurant business isn't what anyone can venture into. From the outside, everyone desire to own one but how many dare pay the price required ? If you want to start a restaurant bizness, the first thing you need is not money, neither is it a good location or the equipment. What you need is PASSION! It is the passion that keeps you going when things are tough, when customers refuse to show up even when your food is good and this passion is what propels you to go through the stage of little Beginning into something great. I started a restaurant business precisely a year and 2 months ago and glory be to God it has grown into close to a million naira worth of business. Time will not permit me to really highlight many other things and I will try n do that lata. Try and get your passion right and asked yourself if this is what you really want |
tiamiyukunle69:You saw it too! |
O boy! Hope nairaland no go crash with this traffic. |
ajasa4link:Being wondering if anyone would show up from the North. Did my training in Birnin kebbi but no info yet. My arms are Still crossed expecting news from them. |
xpac01:Hmmmm, you have a subtle way of campaigning. Yes, they should not only lay the ground work but start it also. |
Orunto:No matter who it is, he will definitely face this issue. GEJ could answer them if he is preoccupied solely with his reelection. The earlier the ground work is set in motion, the better it is for us as a nation no matter who wins the election. |
[quote author=bankyblue post=31008619]Haram boko will be next[/quote God forbid. Nobody will wish his worst enemy what we faced in their hand. Peace is next. |
This question had plagued me for days and I know it should be for the Federal Government too. With the spate of successes enjoyed by the military against these devil incarnates, I know their end it at hand but where do we go from there? How are we going to tackle the underlying issues that bred them, so as not to experience a repeat in the future. How do we tame or kill the offsprings that were produced as a result of this evil culmination. Will the lives of those seared by their fire remain healed physically, socially and psychologically? Terrains that were destroyed, what are the plans put in place to restore them or will they remain barren forever? What about the Harms and ammunitions paraded by youths in this wartorn territories . How do we ensure they leave our streets. And how do we ensure they don't pick them up later in the nearest future. Do we have have the right system in place to try those prisoners of war? Many more questions kept coming to my mind and I cringe at the possibility of not getting them answered. As a country that has history of not being proactive in the face of challenges, I pray this does not create a bigger problem for us to deal with in the nearest future. Nigeria where do we go from here? May God help us. |
O God! My marriage must be different. My heart bleeds for the women and the men who are going through trying times in their marriages. God will see you through those periods of heartaches and headaches. Pls hold on, help will come your way speedily. On page 7, hope I'll be able to see this to the very end. |
Op, this thing is long no be small. After trying to read it thrice, I gave up at the middle. I will try reading it from the bottom probably I would be able to complete it this time. Be right back to give my verdict. ........ ........ ........ Modified May God bless the heart this came out from. Now I understand why I couldn't just pass it by, each and every point spoke straight to me and so on point . @XVIER: do you know one can write a book out of each point? |
Is he God?? |
All things being equal, we shouldn't be deliberating on the deployment of soldiers or not. With the shortcomings and gross incapability that had been the emblem of our police officers, I for one cannot Trust them with the safety of my life. Soldiers are meant to be in the war front and the Barracks. But with the current security challenges n the way the polity is heated on the burner of hatred, ethnicity, self gratification( to mention a few), the country cannot be differentiated from a war zone. Hence, the deployment of soldiers is justified.. |
With the info, I see lots of loopholes in what was portrayed about this man... He only ruled for 20 months. Damn! |
Imagine! When they see say the battle is almost won, they come their bring cobra jet. We no want again self, with our gallant soldiers and their African counterparts we need no US assistance. |
