Yes, Valentine is over. The question we nid to ask now is "is love over?" With d frenzy and the hype that follows Valentine's day, non cud have expected nothing better. Even weeks b4 the d-day-FEB 14, one could feel it ova d air. The media houses, television,radio stations,social network were not left behind in ringing the bells into our ears but how many will report the aftermath of the matches played,d hearts that got broken,homes that were mended, accounts that went red,profits made at d eaterys,virginity lost,vows broken,sales boom experienced by recharge card seller, the Love found and those that were lost.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate val,neither do i hate celebrating Love. I equally enjoyd mysev like a normal human being and a nigerian. But what i can't place hands around is why is dis a day thing while we live 365days in a year. Does showing how much we love somebody in a day make us a better lover or more caring?

Since Love is so impt and everything in the world hinges on it, why can't we then live in it consciousnes every single second. A wise man once said" when d purpose of a thing is unknown,abuse is inevitabce." And if u abuse the use of the most important substance- a life saving drug, i don't need to tell u it can cause death(instant or gradual), harm,pain and atimes irrecoverable loss.

Probably u thought giving out ur body,going beyond the bonds to please someone,lavishing ur resources on someone special,squizing time inspite of ur tight schedules is LOVE. Yes,u are right. These are ways we express love but when u can nolonger do these what happens to love? Is there still love.

If ur husband threated u better yster dan 2day dnt let him go. Ask him wat happened 2day, let him knw everyday is ur val. If u dressed beautiful yesterday because of val i'll assume ur appearance or how gud u look depends on an anniversary. If u looked happier yesterday than 2day,i wil but say u have a mood swing depending of which day of the year.
Lastly, as 4 me. To be a better person-lover i've learnt Love is kind,envy not, not proud, does not hurt others 4 his own gain,not easily provoked, does nt think evil, it's nt selfish, believe in it patner and endures, does nt discreminate and love isn't proud.
