O ma se o. I bet u, millions of naira will go down the drain with this burial. PS:I'm nt saying it is wrong celebrating our loved ones but wit the way things are going in the country if I'm the president I'll rather stay at a corner and reflect about my life if the whole hassle really worth it. |
Candour: If I had the power, I'll order this write up pasted on the doors of every church building in this country. Christians need to be reminded of this everyday. Integrity must show in our life otherwise the world would not listen to our message.Thank you so much for the word of encouragements... I will drop the concluding part later or u just log on to my Blog and Continue it. I |
Two mules were tied to each other and were given two hefty meals of hay to eat. The feeds were placed at different positions, opposite each other. Thereafter, these mules were told to make a free run at the food and enjoy the food to the fullest. These wonderful mules thought within themselves “Wow! This is a good time to have a good fill of the food and enjoy myself.” Quickly, these two mules ran to the food in opposite directions forgetting they were tied. But due to the length of the rope they could not reach it. This went on for so long that they spent all their strengths running. Disappointed and exhausted, they looking at each other with nothing else to do. They were hungry, and here is food but with no means to eat it. One of the mules thought to itself “if I walk slowly to the hale without the second noticing, then the food is mine. The second mule also said to itself “speed will do it, he is probably tired like me so let me run for the last time and get this done with.” Co-incidentally, the two of them started off at the same time. The one that decided using speed ran so fast that just few inches to get to the hale, it missed it steps and fell. The other one that decided walking slowly looked back and saw his friend on the floor. It thought to itself but this time around in sober reflection. “I’ve used strength, no result, wisdom no way, and speed which could have helped my friend ended up failing him. I would rather leave the food” He ran to his friend on the ground and told him,” friend I give up, the hale is all yours. Eat it all, I have nothing to do with it. Take it.” The one on the flour shouted back at him “No! I also don’t need it, since you need it take it.” This scenario dragged on for so long that I was almost getting late and no one agreed to eat the hale. At the end of the day they both reached a compromise. Instead of eating the food separately, they decided to eat it together. Hand in hands, together they went to the first hay and finished it. Then off they walked again to the second hay and wimp it was gone. At the end of the day they both ate to their satisfaction and with minimal time wastage and strength. MORALS OF THE STORY. These mules can be tagged as us. Instead of using our strengths to achieve a common goal we end up going our separate ways and achieving nothing. Many of us are left frustrated at the end of the day without getting to the destination God as appointed for us... http://godsheir..com/2013/10/the-strength-of-togetherness.html |
Elantracey: Nice oneWow...so fast. Still trying to edit the writeup. Thanks |
Integrity according to the dictionary is defined as the adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character, honesty and having freedom from corrupting influence, motive or action. It is also a state of being whole, unbroken and undiminished in the face of prevailing circumstances. To have integrity is to be bonded by the words or the set code of a community, tradition or a particular set of people. To have integrity is to be like a man clothed in white linen and because of the nature of what he is putting on he lives in the consciousness of staying pure. This man stays pure by avoiding things that may soil his treasured linen and may cause him to be unfit and dirty. Even if the desire to join friends at the market square to play is so alluring, this man doesn’t throw all cautions to the wind by joining them in playing. He stands back and count the cost and what keeps on ringing in his mind is “is it really worth it?” Integrity is like a garment that must be worn and without putting it on clean, diseases, infections, sicknesses and discomfort will knock at our doors. Is Integrity real? Integrity is a thing of the heart; it doesn’t show on the face. If it is a thing of the face many will fake it and never be caught. Integrity doesn’t just jump on people. It has to be built and nurtured. It begins with the little committed into our hand and how well we are able to handle that little determines how much it becomes in our hands. Integrity is the ability to say no to what is wrong and yes to what is right. Integrity is when you stand for what you believe in even though it seems you are the only person on that lane. This path-lane is always free with little or nobody travelling in it; it is so unpopular that many prefers walking in the other way simply because the integrity lane has no instant gratification and because there are absolutely no distractions on this road (these distractions comes in form of the lust of the eyes, covetousness, greediness and the wanton urge to immerse wealth) Matthew 7:14. Treading on this path require absolute alacrity with no time to be entangled with mundane things. It is integrity that will make a man not to conform or lower his standards just because majorities do otherwise .When you have integrity, the size and volume of people who do the wrong thing or have integrity deficiency does not matter be it your family members or friends. Integrity is about character, the stuffs you are made of, your content and your being. And having a good character is not just enough; a godly character is the ultimate. A man of integrity doesn’t just say I want to be different. His Integrity is borne out of his fear for God. This fear of God is what drives him not to compromise his standards knowing fully that he is subjected to the will of the One who made and sent him (Ps 100:3). The consciousness of upholding the ethical principles and moral standards of his ‘country’ is what is paramount in the life of a man of integrity. Acknowledging the fact that we are strangers, temporary residents and exiles upon the earth and the ability to know we are to give account of those things we do while we reside on earth is what makes us base our actions on what God wants and what He expects from us and not on what the world think is right (Heb. 11:13). You can’t have integrity and remain in your room or be on the fence. You must definitely be noticed because you are different. Being different is not because you have two heads with a horn at the centre of each of the heads or a tail between your two legs but because of the way you carry yourself through your character and behaviour. In essence, integrity cannot be hidden, it is a light that is set upon a table in a room and it illuminates that room, generates heat and at the same time attracts flies (Matthew 5:14). http://godsheir..com/2013/08/integrity-way-forward.html#more |

Hahaha! Resurrection of the dead. I was in the the secondary school those days. One of my favourites is "The black temple." They had good collections of books back then with good writers, I wonder where they all went to... Probably out of the country. |

That is just how we are if we kept holding on to our past. The way the there are updates in things around us so also should we update and upgrade our lives. Let us leave the old version and upgrade to a newer version. Behold I will do a new thing says the Lord; NOW it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert? No matter how our past is whether it is a broken relationship or home, a life of addiction and habits, family background, unanswered prayers, unrealized expectations, unfulfilled dreams, just let it go. Those past and the challenges were to mold us for the future. It will definitely not be easy but I tell you the end will always justify the means. You were like clay under the Knife 0f a Sculptor. The clay undergoes cutting, slapping, pinching and burning. Who told you it was gonna be easy? Learn your lessons and move on. If you don’t learn when God uses a pick hammer on you, He will not hesitate to mold you with a sledge hammer. It is now your choice if you can handle it. Give room for him. God cannot not do a new thing if we kept dragging ourselves through the mud of the past, be done with it. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottle and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles” (Mark 2:22, Luke 5:37). If you desire to migrate now the choice is now yours to make. The choices we made yesterday is what made us who we are today and how well those choices were whether they were wrong or right determined what we are today and that of tomorrow. Whether they are wrong or right determines the altitude we attain in life. Reach out to God (the future) who is the alpha and the omega and he will do a new thing. I see God releasing you from every stronghold of the past In Jesus Name. Amen! Source :http://godsheir..com/2013/09/the-past-and-new-life.html#more |
The past, the present and the future are what a man is composed of, they are what we are all made of. Better put, the past can be seen as a RAW MATERIAL which goes through some PROCESSES and then finally, the FINISHED PRODUCT. The past can also be likened to our yesterday, the present can also be called today while the future can be termed as tomorrow. It is like a starting point, the journey itself and then the destination. In essence, the past, the present and the future are symmetrical, without one there can never be another. In a nutshell; you cannot see a man that doesn’t have a past.In fact, I’m a product of the past and I believe each and every one of us here are too. In as much as these three are symmetrical, we must be able to differentiate and distinguish them distinctively. But our inability to differentiate these three distinctively amount to suffering, anguish and pains. If we don’t know when the past is past we struggle with what we could have done easily today and this will definitely affect our future. Somebody said “You can’t reach for anything new if your hands are full of yesterday’s junks.” The past is meant for the past so it should be left there. Holding on to ones past is like building a castle of placards around oneself with all the rooms fully kitted and accessorized. In that same castle, such individual is the King, the Queen and the servant. These people often build around themselves a sense of satisfaction which is often false and this is because of the experience they had from that same past. They hold on to their past so much that they forget to live in the reality of today. Others had left them behind long time ago and they are sitting under an umbrella sipping lemonade. Imagine, because horses, donkeys and other animals were the best means of transportation years ago but at the advent of bicycles you decided that no! “I won’t use the bicycles; I would rather stick with my horses than use the bicycles.” Tell me where you will be by now. When others have migrated and started using Mercedes Benz, Peugeot, land cruiser and Ferrari, you will still be there in the sun and the rain labouring in vain. Let me tweak your imaginations a little bit. Picture yourself all dressed up in a short knickers with my socks drawn to my kneels, a pair of matching shoes and you stand with an Afro hairstyle holding a chalk and a slate lecturing a set of university students who had migrated to using I-pads, I-p0ds, Androids and Blackberries. Won’t it look absurd and out of place? Won’t you make a fool of yourself? |

I have almost 'all' plans in place but I need your help in answering some questions. 1) is there a body saddled with registering my business like NAFDAC is to consumable products? 2) Do I have to register my business under an umbrella body? 3) Any idea on the capital base required to set it up? How far can about four hundred thousand naira go. Any other useful tips will do. And if you have experience on this, kindly share. Thank you |
This is serious. :oThis is serious. |
We are getting there Gradually. |
Speechless, I am. If I say dis is a nice writeup I'm absolutely wrong. This is awesome, soothing. Thanks for sharing. |
Work on yourself man. It takes more than being handsome to hold a goodly relationship. Work on your carriage, confidence, attitude, behavior... Your personality as a whole. And, don't force it. Just be yourself. |
Can someone please tell me what this man has being smoking? I have being tryin to figure it out but I can't. It's a shame we have this man as a senator. He has brought more evil than good to Nigeria. We are yet to recover from sharia and now this. |
Sunnycliff: Sorry, you are lacking trust in your wife and that spells doom in any family. Try also to work more on your self esteem and confidence. Try to show her more love and care, get more closer to her in communication and with right loving words. Can you read what you just wrote all over again. With all the Op said( if they are all true) does it show he has problem with his self esteem? OP: the matter at hand is a serious one. This does not only show a case of infidelity but strings of them. See... confront her with you evidence now. Let her know you know. She will get defensive as usual but dnt burge. Mind you u are doing dis to correct and not to show her you are holy while she is rhe devil. No matter how you see it, you are to be blamed equally for what is happening. It takes two to build a home, if she is 80% wrong t then you carried the remaining 20%. Divorce is never an option, it is for cowards. You can still make it work and please let make a promise you will be man enough to handle whatever comes out of that situation. |
For once they are putting into use the huge amount of money Nigerians pay to them each month. Good move and I pray this doesn't drag on so long. |
OMG! Imagine, a parent suffered against all odds to raise a child to this level and some people from no where laying claim to this same Child. I don't believe the s#!t about d girl converting to Islam. The emir has added her to his harem. Ok, let's say dis girl converted to Islam then how come she is in the palace? |
