Liverpool have today confirmed that the iconic Kenny Dalglish is back at the club he has played for and managed, and will be helping manager Rafa Benitez in a role at the club's academy, as well as acting as a club ambassador.

His ambassadorial duties will include helping the club's commercial and business operations around the world.

Reds managing director Christian Purslow was delighted to welcome the Scotsman back to Anfield, telling the club's official website, "In our very first meeting Rafa and I agreed that we wanted to try and bring Kenny back to the club to help Rafa really drive forward our academy which is at the heart of our plans for the future.

"We are delighted he has agreed to join us and I am sure he will be very successful in his new role back at the club."

Gerrard doesn't play as a striker , he only plays behind the striker. note that he has only played in that position for two seasons now. before then he has played in the central midfield, right and left midfield and he has always been very good anywhere .

Anyway, Gerrard and Lampard stand just above the rest. I will only rate Kaka equally becos of his past performances, recently he has been a shadow of his former self.

Xavi is great player no doubt, great techinical ability(but Iniesta beats him completely in that area), nice passer(only shot range passes) and he is also just a good free kick taker and that is all! We should have seen more of Iniesta if only Rijkaard wasn't fond of puting him down. Rijkaard just didnt believe in Iniesta.


Gerrard and Lampard possess almost everything the rest possess and it is their strong will , the extra fire they show that puts them just above the rest.

I'd rather have these two in my team, guys that are very difficult to play against ,maybe its the English grit.
