If the amount collected is not up to 2.5 trillion, how could 25 billion have been charged as 1% transaction fee??

CBN itself has issued a statement, on the matter saying that the 1% fee is to be shared between CBN, the commercial banks and the firm. Last time I checked, there were 26 commercial banks in this country. Why on earth are people so ready to swallow any false assertion made by any governor, senator or public official??
