Manonamission: Be careful of entanglements in 2018. Sincerely, I have not been following GSK for long but my first reaction on reading your post was " GSK keh! "
GSK and full bid don't go in the same sentence sef. It's a stock for long termers who are mostly interested in dividends and reinvestment not quick sales upon capital appreciation.
Disclaimer: I could be wrong since it's not under my coverage. NSE has a mind of its own as they say. GSK fit double sef. Thanks Bro - Manonamission! Emmanuelewumi, what's your take man? |

DeRuggedProf: The market is one of a very few places outside North Korea where using an AK47 to kill a fly raises no eyebrows.... They say rising tides lift all ships...see WEMA Bank is beginning to move. Is it going to be the year of penny stocks? Not a recommendation please! #Edited |

phemmie06: Sir so you escape from 2008 mistake? Such Dáar communications, Chams etc Some were not mistakes but lack of knowledge/awareness and not monitoring investments but relying on Brokers - some of who also lack proper knowledge hence we landed/kept kicking the can downhill and now trapped in stocks like - RT Briscoe, Japaul, UTC, WEMA etc. Newbies who found this forum before investing a kobo in the NSE should be grateful for the opportunity to learn. Note: I read on another forum - Never fall in love with any stock. This is how to go broke. Thank you @ Kolaish.....Happy New year my good/blessed people..may this year be fruitful to us all. |

maishai: Lincoln, Jefferson, Madison and the Great Leaders of the US went a long way in creating a system that encourages productivity and spur people to create solutions to humanities problems....The African story is only the exception. Nigeria's is something else! So much potential...when you think things are getting better...only to find it's getting a lot worse. #SMH |

currentprice: bolded is the fear, with gtb and innoson action it appears gtbank formally acknowledge the excess charged. innoson used his business experence to make gtbank fall into his hand Some lousy managers must have messed up GTB if this is true because I doubt if the bank with all the good corporate responsibility/standing one hear about them will knowingly want to defraud their customers especially a high net-worth one like Innoson motors. However, this is Nigeria where you can never trust most corporate managers. Hmm all good things in this country are being destroyed #SAD |

currentprice: TOTAL currentprice selling at premium. The company has failed to produce superb numbers as they did in 2015/2016 the latest Q3 Pat reported have no free cash backing which gives doubt to end of the year dividend or struggle to pay poor dividend Thanks Bro...can always count on you! |

emmanuelewumi: Just finished payment and the paper work for my Lafarge right about 3 hours ago.
I learnt the issuing house wants the returns by tomorrow, instead of the usual 5 working days after the offer.
Let us see how it goes by the end of March 2018. Please do you have insight about the management of this company - WAPCO? As per the high cost is it because of their numerous take-overs or what? If Alhaji is making profits what's their problem...they should have a management change or better oversight. How's their dividend payment history like? Cheers! |

stcool: Why I mostly stay away this days from here, it's always about deceiving newbies. Exactly same thing I heard when I mentioned fidelity on this forum months ago. How much is same fidelity now. Who is a newbie and who is forcing anyone to buy a stock. As a matter of fact WAPCO offer full ground and rights is still ongoing, so one cannot talk about deceiving newbies here, Abeg. No need to stay away - Bro! It's a free world...just that some people like countering others very aggressively on this forum as if they are Mr Market!! So which ever way it goes, Time will always tell and it, I mean - Time, is also a great healer!!! |

emmanuelewumi: The charges are normal as prescribed by the Nigerian stock exchange, except you are trading big volumes and values.
United Capital Securities is also okay, I have been with them since 2004 and I am still with them, unlike my Fbn securities account which I transferred to BGL Securities then to CSL stockbrokers and back to FBN Securities.
I don't know much about ARM Securities. With 250k in cash or stocks you can open your stockbroking account with United capital securities, unlike FBN Securities which requires a minimum of N5 million in cash or stocks to open a stockbroking account with them. OK Thank you! |

Coolcash1: This is why it is dangerous to invest in shares and go to sleep. yours truly have always advised newbies and experienced members of this forum that when they do long term they should review their portfolio at minimum every 6 months to be sure the fundamentals are still valid.
This is a classic case of downside risk of investing in stock. Investment reduced to nothing. True talk! |

jossy26: Q4 result of lafarge is expected to be good since cement sales peaks around this quarter unless village people open the books of the company , have picked up my rights hoping for a good rally by march/april 2018... I filled the forms and scanned back to my Brokers, saw funds debited and hope it will be approved. They better turn out a good result as the stock's current performance on the floor is really poor. Anyways already in this for the long haul so we watch and see how it goes. |
