US - they already know those that have a chance at it. My own interview lasted 30 seconds . Na so my visa fee and effort just evaporate.Canada - replied with a letter saying that I looked like a potential immigrant.  with no ties to my home country. Look closely at that bank statement, the transactions are debit alerts being made to Lekki Concession company. The guy was paying LCC. Seyi Tinubu owns the bill board on the toll plaza. I might be wrong but I believe that he has been paying rent for that space on the toll plaza and all other space along that road where his bill boards occupy. I will advise the youths to please always view things logically rather than emotionally most times. You get a better view and understanding. The same billboard was used to promote the endsars movement all through until the day the curfew was announced. 1 Like |

High level of BS In the media these days. Lagos state has been demolishing shanties and arresting thugs these days. There is another slum around marwa that was raided. The slum close to the mall at jakande was raided for hoodlums too. Just yesterday, the police raided Lagos island and arrested 58 thugs. If it had happened around that area. These folks would have linked it to it. The way the news media twists stories these days is just appalling. Just to stair up sentiments and emotions, they had to add lekki shootings to the news. That place has been raided before. This is not the first time. It's the road where oriental and troy is, where the prostitutes hustle and drugs are sold. Some Nigerians in SA run prostitution rings, they kill and rob, sell drugs. Some Frats in Nigeria even have branches in south Africa. The actions of these guys and some other bad eggs from some other countries lead to South Africans wanting to kick out all other Africans including students and those running legit businesses. Most of us kicked against this act and some folks even attacked presumed South African businesses in Nigeria. To me, this seems similar to what Sunday is doing. I prefer what Akeredolu is doing. We all complain when other countries treat out citizens bad but sometimes we treat ourselves worse. I blame the government though. If they had curbed the herdsman menace, the shituation would not have degenerated to this. My own opinion. 10 Likes 1 Share |

tplayer: After going through the telpecon thread. You guys should go to the goldenbridge.org.ng site which I believe is the one claiming to be giving out Grants. Check thier board of directors. I am not an economist or accountant. However, I saw recurrent (non debt) expenditures taking 5 trn which is 44 percent. Does not sound too good. Also, debts servicing of this amount leaves little or no funds for capital projects and infrastructure. Then 3 trn for personnel cost. Which personnel? Then again, the budget deficit will be financed by further borrowing. Just tell us that we have double digit inflation, which one is "inflation is expected to remain above single digits". I know someone that is into this crap. After trying to convince her to stop looking for free money which she refused. I tried to get proof. This thread is about telpecon (imagine o, the name even ends with con). There is another grant scam, sorry I mean scheme being advertised called Golden bridge. If you check the board of trustees, they are the same people running telpecon. I think when the name don cast, they just rebrand and start all over. People think they have only spent little. They believe 10k is not too much to risk (atleast na beer I go take am drink las las) but 10k paid by 4 or 5000 people is 50m. People should try and engage themselves with better activities than chasing free money. It's even better to use your money to play sports bet than this crap. 5 Likes |

On a normal day, those cameras are positioned between their toll booths to capture cars. Those cameras cannot capture the protest or any other atrocities. Also the protesters have drones that will cover any hanky panky. I am 95 percent sure that nothing will happen to those protesters at lekki. In my own opinion, LCC are just removing thier equipment to avoid them being vandalized or damaged. 2 Likes 1 Share |
