I read it, googled it and saw nothing of that nature and i just thrashed the idea. Could not find any link to it. |
Good idea. The only problem with closing offices too is that more folks will be able to participate in the protest. |
Very much expected after a prison break. |
Bad |
Rip |
Damn right skippy. We are angry. |
Let's just go back to having regions. The central has too much power and is far away from us. If we had regions. Our leaders would be closer and more accessible. |
Chai, I wish they had added electricity tariff hike and downward salary review for senators and house of representatives to the list of demands. Maybe that too might have been achieved. |
Question. If someone is convicted, castrated and killed. Then it is discovered that he actually did not commit the crime. What next.? |
This is really none of my business. I shouldn't be here |
I think it is a good idea to have someone cater to the plight of widows. Atleast to help those that have lost thier husband to bandits or terrorists. |
Sad |
Nah |

“Private hospitals have also been advised to seek accreditation before taking up the management of infectious diseases,” Mustapha said. When they are not sure what ailment the patients have and there is a pandemic in town. The best thing thier government can do is to broaden thier scope and have a few personnel on ground at most hospital that are trained to handle infectious diseases. Or just distribute PPE to the hospitals. |
Mysterious. The new watch word in the north. |
Are they sure that she died from Covid 19 or pregnancy complications? Maternal mortality rate has been on the increase before covid 19. |
Ok |
He is right. If you know that you just developed any breathing difficulties recently. You might not even be coughing. Call NCDC, take vitamin C and pray while you wait. |
No..... Dash him. |
Superjazz: I once heard of a guy that was robbed and his ATM card was collected along with his pin. Those thieves went on to rob other people but rather than collect any other ATM card, they just made other victims transfer into the first victims account. So any attempt to trace the transaction will lead to the first victim. |
Anybody that pays tithes out of this stimulus package does not deserve it. In my own opinion. If you were truly in need and hungry. The thought would not even cross your mind. |
I just like this guy. Sure boy. |
How can the government say that the free electricity is for the poor and vulnerable? Can you just imagine the bullcrap? This is a new level of nonsense. Anyway. I have received my electricy bill for this month. So I dont even care anymore. ![]() I doubt if people will comply if they try to extend the lock down after these 2 weeks. |
The touts, agberos, nurtw, bus conductors, thugs and thieves earn daily incomes. Most of them have been deprived and are now desperate. |
In my own humble opinion. This is a very poorly written statement. This statement shows prejudice towards a particular authority. This statement passes a message of "How dare you". The helicopter agency said that they had clearance from a federal agency. It's just like the case of Lagos state. We were doing fine with our own state government imposed limited movement. Then the federal government came and announced a total lockdown. The prick that wrote the statement tried to play around the sentimental side of the people towards curtailing the corona virus, by stating that the activities of the commercial helicopter puts the life of its citizens at risk, but it's obvious from the same article that it's all hogwash. In the end, what do I know. ![]() |
A country of 200m plus people. Our major states and cities are on lock down and Coincedentally, oil prices have dropped. Some of the major ways through which the government makes money (crude sales and taxation) are on pause. This will definitely affect our economy. When we finish this truck loads of rice. What next? My prayer is that at the end of these two weeks, those infected will reach the incubation period and start showing signs, because we definitely cannot test enough people. All countries are having issues with test kits. It can never be enough. God help us. |
3 states were placed on total lock lock down to curb the spread of the pandemic while the government seeks out the already infected through testing. We are all at home, on lock down, but I am not sure of how the government is faring with the testing and identification of those infected. Even if you keep us home for one month and we still have asymptomatic carriers. We will just be in a loop. When you ease off on the lock down, people go out and then it spreads some more. My prayer is that this two weeks lock down will allow most infected people to at least start showing signs. In my own opinion, offices should be closed but going out should be voluntary. Go out at your own risk. Most wise people will take precautions while going out. Funny thing is even before the total lock down, folks were already staying at home on the governor's orders. |
Crappy journalism. |
Lovelies1: What you are doing is very bad. First off, that's french and not hausa language. Second, the military van has FARDC written on it which is the army for democratic republic of Congo. Why would you people even twist such things and spread such fake info. |
I feel bad for laughing at them. ![]() |
