FamilyRe: Kids On Bikini Dancing Sexy With Themself !! What A World.. by Bibol(f): 6:04pm On Nov 04, 2014
I didn't even need to watch the video before I could imagine the content. This is how kids get exposed to indecency at an early age. I blame their parents / guardians for corrupting these innocent minds. We are indeed in the end times
FamilyRe: Do U Think Washing Machine Is For Lazy Wives? by Bibol(f): 4:34pm On Nov 03, 2014
I don't know what I would have done without a washing machine. Its a life saver. Its not for lazy wives, it only makes washing a bit easier and it prevents unnecessary backache
FamilyRe: Can I Complain? by Bibol(f): 3:08pm On Nov 02, 2014
greatgod2012:
The problem is you accepting it from the beginning......how many times are we going to repeat that we shouldn't as wives pretend to satisfy anyone, lets always be ourselves, sooner or later, they will know us for whom we are and treat us accordingly........NEVER YOU START WHAT YOU CANNOT FINISH.

Well, i will suggest you complain to your hubby and be ready to face the drama that will ensue afterwards, its better that way than to keep dying inside.
The bolded says it all. Why do African wives like to pretend? Is the mother disabled ni? Or she is too big to do her daughter's laundry? Keep washing it till you reach your breaking point one day. You cannot please everyone, you can simply arrange her clothes and put in her box . When her mother comes to pick her on Friday, let her take them along to wash. That's her responsibility not yours.
It's better they know what you stand for from the beginning to avoid unnecessary quarells.

CareerRe: Thread For Food Scientist& Technologist In All Tertiary Institutions In Nigeria by Bibol(f): 10:46pm On Oct 23, 2014
I'm a graduate of food science. It's a marketable course and its starting to gain recognition in Nigeria very well. The only problem I see is that graduates from related disciplines such as biochemistry, microbiology and industrial chemistry tend to also compete for the same jobs you apply for. That's why you have to do your best in school so that you can stand out and with God on your side, you will get a befitting job.

Also, prepare to take courses in food microbiology and food chemistry. In some schools, its under the faculty of engineering so you will be taking engineering courses such as engineering maths, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and engineering drawing. The course itself is wide but I have no regrets studying it. An advantage is that in your postgraduate studies, you can conveniently diversify into other related fields like nutrition and dietiecs, food and industrial microbiology, consumer related courses due to your vast knowledge. I have a friend who is doing her masters in the US now in quality control and consumer satisfaction... Can't really remember the full name of the course now but she's doing well in it.

Wishing you all the best as you pursue your dreams.
FamilyRe: Can Today's Women Have Successful Careers And Happy Families? by Bibol(f): 8:24pm On Oct 22, 2014
As much as I support a woman achieving her goals in life after graduating from school, common sense has to be applied. There is a time for everything. I believe that when your kids are still very young, they need you around them.
Kids need both parents but in reality, both of them can't be present all the time considering the current economy of this country. If it means taking up a less demanding job till they become teens, I feel its still okay.

Not every woman has the flair or passion for business and not everyone can be a sit-at-home mom. A less demanding job can solve the problem for her to be able to effectively manage her time. This also doesn't stop the man from being available whenever he can. At least, let him try his best too because it's all for the betterment of his family.

Whether we like it or not, women are expected to make certain sacrifices and that's just the bitter truth but it will pay off eventually when your kids grow up and they turn out to be well-behaved. You can't leave it all in the hands of house helps. Certain jobs may not give you that luxury of time and may require you to travel a lot.

That said, as they grow older and become independent, she can begin to pursue her dreams and aim higher. Nothing stops her from doing that as long as she has a supportive husband. It all boils down to wisdom, time management, understanding and proper planning for the future. That is why before a lady gets married, she should have a definite short term and long term goal for her life, and not leave things to chance.

My opinion though

anthoniaz:
Hmmm, God knows we are not taking anybody seriously as our day draws closer. We are almost done with preparations. Some will be like "let me know if I can help in any way".Na "yes ma/yes sir" I dey answer.

Some will buy aso ebi and wouldn't want to pay.As I'm giving out my aso ebi, I'm collecting my money..people are heartless.
Op,that your auntie sha!
Collect your money abeg. Lots of people make promises they won't be able to fulfil. During my preparations, I categorically told those "aunties and uncles" to convert all the help to cash because some people were already handling it. I even have a cousin who does makeup, I didn't use her because I won't want a situation where I won't be able to complain about a service being rendered. All those things can cause unnecessary headache.
OP, your aunt didn't try at all
FamilyRe: Child Naming- Whose Right? by Bibol(f): 1:55pm On Oct 22, 2014
The whole world can give a child different names. It is the parents that will decide which ones they'll put on the birth certificate.

FamilyRe: TWO Years In Marriage!!! The Feeling, The Realization And Surprise. by Bibol(f): 2:07pm On Oct 19, 2014
ARES:
that is what happens when you marry a woman that is more into the wedding than into the man..... wedding is over marriage has started.....there is no need for pretense anymore......she has achieved her aim and thats all that matters...... I will take it a little bit further to prove something to you..... Look at her DP, When was the last time u saw your self as her DP.... It is either ur child or some inspirational write up..... never the spouse. that is how you know women who are just there because society wants them to be there not because of the man the married
@Bolded, weird line of thought but there's truth in this

The picture is not up close so its difficult to say they all bleached their skin. That aside, whenever I see things like this, I just can't help but wonder how these women will feel about each other. Then the sitting position, I guess its influences by their heirachies in alaafin's life

Amusing couple... The guy looks a typical nigga down the road and the lady, I don't even know where to start with her. I'm so sure she is beautiful but that mix up on her face turned her to a clown. And I'm certain it must have cost a lot to get the painting done. I pray God will give them the wisdom they require to sustain their home.
