You dont have to spend 5 years to get your citizenship you know. You can get it under a year with some level of risks.

I took me a while to understand what Ghana is doing right that we aren't. on my first sojourn to the accra i could almost swear i was i Ilorin or some other outskirt city in Nigeria. It was not as if the place was overly developed and there were untared roads everywhere. But then it struck me. The main difference were the people. There was no hussle and bustle, there was smiles on everybody's faces and a sense of contentment. You felt at peace; safe and secure. You were not afraid that someone could at any moment obtain you for no reason . This is an import driven economy but you would never know it. So, we as Nigerians want to feel security. In our investments, in our lives, in our ambitions. That is why Ghana is held in higher regard that Nigeria. People make a NATION.

What many people do not know is that it is the mentality you take to yankee that will follow you determines what you will become. The first belief is that once you get there you will picking silver and gold from the streets which is sad. The first year is hell but pray that you have someone to quickly guide and advice you on how to proceed. If it is wish to further your education, which is advisable, then everything you need to make this a reality is at your disposal. Whatever degree you bring here should be put at the back burner because it does not count here. You have to get their own degree. If you already have a degree then a four year course may be shortened to two because the classes you have already taken, which will be  ;Dtaken into consideration. Bottom line is your mentality determines your success; if na groove you go groove die, if na book you go read tire, if na cable you come watch then there's 24 electricity, you go watch die. And galactico, go to the embassy, they will tell you if you won or not.

@Redman I think you just like seeing your written post on NL. Yes it is good to say good things about your country but please lets not be delusional. Lets do some stress test. If you vote in Nigeria are you confident that your vote will count? If a robber breaks into your house are you confident the police will respond under 10min to rescue you and your family. Are you confident that you will have 2hrs of power every day not to talk of 24hrs non stop. If you have the ambition to be something are you confident that the government will support you enough to achieve what you have set out to be? If your child needs quality medical care, are you confident you will get it in our hospitals? can the poor get federal assistance to feed their families? These are basic things that one should be able to enjoy; food, security, power, health. You seem hell bent in making ridiculous comparisons. yes there are problems in every country of the world but these countries are able to balance the good with the bad. In Nigeria there is no balance, the bad has almost completely taken over. You this guy, take time

I swear i like what is happening. The reason the football association have gotten away with murder is because our boys have been winning. They cannot get away with everything. The more these guys lose the more fustrated boys will get, then serious questions will be asked about how football is run in the country.

@Rosabelle   We are going back again. That is why i said our children are the hope of tomorrow. Nigeria of today is filled with too much anger, poverty, fustration, disillussionment and persons with one or all these traits can easily be influenced and manipulted. Past generations and ours are like weeds stiffling the growth of the nation and must be weeded out for anything to grow.

@Kaypinchi I submit that nothing can be done for now and the onus for the survival of our country is in the hands of our children. Why? 'cause they have not yet been tainted by the negativity. So teach them to understand what to do to save their future.
