@End time I wont go as far as saying that, but you Never know when it comes to naija. Christ might decide to visit only Nigeria and leave the rest ot the world alone with the way things are going. What is considered abominable in other places is often the norm. We seriously need divine judgement and fast. grin

As far as i am concerned i cannot say if he is a man of God or not, since to be a successful pastor in Nigeria nowadays all you need to succeed is to cram the bilble, speak passable english and have good business accumen. But what i do know is that he should be able to tell these corrupt leaders he sees on occassion to please set us free. And he should do this publicly for that matter. We are all political animals. Of course i want to enter heaven, but i am on earth for now. Why must i live through hellish conditions because of some few people?

Na_so you too much jooo. If we do split up, those with the same tribalistic and ethnic views will still find ways of breaking into more tribes and furthering their miopic views.

PoliticsRe: Soludo Finally Declares His Anambra Governorship Ambition by bidemi12(m): 10:43pm On Sep 23, 2009
We are really caught between a rock and a hard place. We want improvements in the way our country is run and the only way is for good people to take over the helm of affairs. But at the same time we are suspicious of anybody with credible antecedents who strives to do just that. I have deduced that the reason for this is because we are in a one party system. If there is a strong opposition to pdp we would not care if soludo enters politics or not. And if the electorate had not been so disenfranchised we would be waiting for them at election time. So you see, the rot has eaten so deep in the system that credible opposition cannot grow and our votes do not count. There is no way the prevailing scenario in Nigeria will not ultimately lead to revolution. It might not be in our generation but it will happen. I just pray it is a peaceful one.

PoliticsRe: Breaking News- Kaduna State. Secretary Kidnapped! by bidemi12(m): 3:29pm On Sep 23, 2009
A group during a revolution in the republic of manga went door to door, beating, killing and looting the households of people perceived to have looted and destroyed the country. The rich were targeted. Guilty or not they were dealt with. After the day's looting the group decided to share their loot. The leader got a MERCEDES BENZ COMPRESSOR among other things. On his way from the sharing location, he was stopped by another group on a looting spree. Of course they did not believe that he was one of them since he was driving a compressor. They accused him of being the elite and of looting the treasury and promptly killed him and collected his loot and the ride. grin
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 2:57pm On Sep 23, 2009
Once again i have to repeat. It is a moral issue, not a legal one. And as a moral issue if he is allowed to contest we as the electorate must vote him out. But here lies the problem, WE DO NOT LIVE IN A POLITICALY/MORALY CORRECT SOCIETY IN NIGERIA. It can be a sure bet that when he is allowed to contest he will win and after some years when alarm don blow we go come back here to argue the merits and demerits of even allowing him to contest.
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 2:36pm On Sep 23, 2009
@ german007 we agree to disagree. with that point i agree. But why u use HND graduteS as example, i was/am an HND GRADUATE. TAKE TIME OOOO grin
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 2:22pm On Sep 23, 2009
@german007 That point does not hold water. Nobody is denying his right to existence but when you strive for a political position which could ultimately affect me, my guy i want to know your history, your associates and your family history. Look at what happened recently. The ambassador appointed by Nigeria to the US was rejected by America because the man's son has a criminal record. The ambassador never committed a crime but he was held accountable for the actions of his son. The world is moving on, we better upgrade our social and moral syllabus.
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 2:08pm On Sep 23, 2009
@ german007  In fact this topic de annoy me. Are you saying he has not benefitted from the loot stolen by his father. The man he is today can be attribitted to stolen funds. Unless you are saying his father did no wrong and no funds were looted. funds that were used to train his children. Even for here your life and family life must be squeaky clean or no show. One of the reasons McCain lost was because he picked a terrible vp choice whose underaged daughter got pregnant. I still insist, it is a moral issue
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 1:48pm On Sep 23, 2009
Like it or not that is the way the world is and as it should be. Are you married? if you are, why do you think the family of your wife wanted to see you and your entire family or at least the ones that counted? if any question mark is noticed then goodbye to the wedding plans or at least that was how mine was. Why do you think we try to protect family name as much as possible? people will not know you by your individuality but by your family. Abi things don change for Naija that much?
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 1:37pm On Sep 23, 2009

PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 1:35pm On Sep 23, 2009
@german007   What in Gods name are you talking about? If a man whose family has a history of defrauding people comes to you for an investment opportunity, will you in all honesty do business with him? The reason why the sons pay for the sins of the father is that as a father you will think hard and deep b4 you take any action that will affect the lives of others. Because your son, no matter how innocent he is will be stimatized for your actions. Like i said, no shame. They should be hiding their heads in shame. The family is blamed for heinous acts and they want me to trust them? I was born at night but i was not born last night. huh
PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son 'to Enter Politics' by bidemi12(m): 1:10pm On Sep 23, 2009
As was written in the bilble, the sins of the father will always catch up with the sons. It was only in SODOM, GOMORRAH and now NIGERIA that that rule was broken. At this rate if CHRIST decides to come back, NIGERIA might miss it 'cause we seem not to have a clue about what is happening elsewhere in the world. A country where the ruling class is without SMAME, CONSCIENCE, OR REGRET is doomed.
