christabeli: The person asked a question about Google Classroom not Zoom. Both Zoom and Google Classroom are very useful. Both apps are structured differently. If you want to schedule video classes, then Zoom it is. No, the person asked for suggestions on suitable means to administer classes online for one of his/her client. And then someone brought up Google classroom. Then I suggested Zoom to be better. |

sammoe: Google Classroom provides a better means of assessment. Students can also go back to review recorded lessons. Zoom has that feature too |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Strictly For Those Interested In Teaching Jobs by Bifrost: 6:18pm On Apr 12, 2020 |
christabeli: Go to play store and download Google Classroom. Ensure that you and your student have existing Gmails. After you are done with the download, you will see an icon for creating class. You create a class and name it whatever you want, depending on what you want to use the class for. Eg: I named one of my classes Year 7 Gold History. Proceed to a place written people, click on the + sign there to add your student. After you are done adding your student, go through the classroom and study it. You can send in work,Quiz etc there. What about Zoom? That is a more suitable tech enabled way to administer classes remotely. |

NJobs: No one knows, plus the HR team should have noticed that their questions leaked out 100% in real time.
The best deal will be to conduct a monitored online or on-site test with different types.
I know of persons who on getting the leaked questions finished everything under 5mins.
This won;t be fair to those who took the test very early enough and will also push the pass mark to say at least 95%. My thoughts too. I wrote on the morning of the very first day. Why on Earth would the test span for 3 whole days |

africandictator: hello sir, I was able to complete the application today , is it too late? Because I heard that the deadline is April 4th. Also please how long did it take for you to recieve an invite for the test and what was the online test like. May God bless you as you brief me. I was told that if I have not recieve a mail before June 7th, then I was not successful. Well, they said the deadline for application is April 4th. But with the Covid-19, they stated in the mail they'd be suspending the process but my advice is that you wait for a week and see. The first stage is an online test so if you qualify you may likely get a mail to take the test since it's online. As for nature of the test, it's 10 numerical and 10 verbal reasoning questions, making 20 questions in 20 mins. So, give them a week or two, you'll get a feedback. |

Son30: I think we should really not worry, they will contact successful candidates as soon as they finish evaluating the test and computing the names. For those asking for results I don't think any result will be released, what they said was that successful candidates will be contacted by sms and email for the next level. On the issue of calculator usage, they simply did not say it is not allowed... I think we should rest on the things they said or did not say, than what a third party said. Blessings. So do we wait until Covid-19 saga is over or still be expectant of a feedback at least? That's the thing, we are well aware results won't be sent out but success / reject mails. |

Please for those that wrote the last one, I mean the just concluded graduate trainee process, please is it possible to write the test using a phone Please I need answers, just Incase I don’t have access to a laptop? It is strongly advised to use a laptop. There could be a lag if you try using a phone, and parts of the question might fail to display fully if you use a phone |
